What is happening with him?  Is he on his way out?  Will he be offered a new contract?  Why is he not playing?  Why is John Hughes not playing one of our most consistent players?  He would have made a tremendous difference on Saturday and many other games he was left out of.  I along with many fans want a new contract for Raven, and he has publicly stated that he wants one.   If we are going to let a solid, consistent, loyal player who is extremely popular with the fans leave then I am seriously considering taking my money elsewhere next season and finding a new hobby on a Saturday.

Raven must stay!!!

Apart from me, you must be the most boring old windbag on this site.

Wait, are you genuinely suggesting that it would have been better to retain Hughes in that situation? His position had become utterly untenable.

Caleyboy,  maybe that remark directed at the auld Pimple might have been fairly accurate but go easy on the Kingsmills loon. His heart is deffo in the right place and he is a staunch ICT supporter. Yes !:ictscarf:

Er ....you are awful but I do hope you like me, though.

No problem with you Pimple. It just gets to me when people constantly criticise a man who brought the most success to our club. I also fully believe that there are two sides to every story so I just cannot believe that Hughes turned on our Chairman/Board without good reason. I do not however agree with how he went about trying to sort it - but maybe, just maybe he had tried to do this internally without any success. Who knows, I just think we should put this to bed and get on with giving our full support to Foran. :drinking05:

Wait for what? No RIG I am not genuinely suggesting Hughes should have been retained but people don't need to keep on about his faults.
