Did anyone catch the Trevore McDonald programme - what a disgrace!

They haven't given him a re-trail :shock: . That is a fecking disgrace. I saw the Trever Mc programme. If there is two things that would stop me from going further east than Glasgow, it's this story and the film The Midnight Express. What do you reckon will happen to him now?

Well, they've reduced his sentence to 10 years (from 15), still the government are

hardly getting off their erses to help him!

Maybe they are waiting until closer to the election - suspicious me, never!

I have heard some very strange stories on this one over here - didn't see the Trev Mc programme so can't comment on that but I bet it showed some unusual practices

The police just arrested him because he was British and they needed someone to take the fall. They even made him dress up like the suspect before taking him down the station. I seriously don't envy you living there mate.

It ain't that bad except for the odd mafia hit - the people are friendly and the food and beer are cheap. There is also the excellent ski slopes and wine regions.

Still a bit of a police state though with about a policeman for every 5 citizens and all MPs have immunity against prosecution - so you can see why the EU committee are peeved off :D
