Looking through the remaining fixtures I notice we have a lot of home games. Despite our criminally abysmal home record I think this may work in our favour. I really hope Terry and June can turn around the home form, if they can we should stay up. If the fans give the boys and the new management lots of encouragement we can hopefully sort that home record and pick up the points. BRING IT ON HOME!

I think Butcher and Mispass will be a good thing for some of our younger players, look at how players like McFadden and Pearson did at 'well.

That's the spirit Johnboy, glad you've cheered up. It's going to take a lot for us to stay up but at least now we will put up some form of fight.

The question is: The answer: Because there is no need for him to, he is an assistant, not the Scotland manager. Now can can we get over this and get on with staying in the SPL.

TB will give it 100% - otherwise he wouldn't put himself in this position. Our players are good enough to stay up they just lack proper coaching and motivation, the new team will give us that. Thats all we can hope for. Its a very good appointment. Here's to staying up.

If this is true then it is great news. And stop this nonsense about being the assistant manager of a team that plays 5 or 6 games a year being a bad thing. Him being the national team assistant is a good thing for us. If he says yes then I really do think he and Maurice Mispass can keep us up.

Just more concerned with the final 15 games we have left to save our SPL status Johndo. And still glad we've got rid of brew. And quite happy that the board have 3 candidates any of whom I'd be happy to see in the hotseat.

The 4 new signings were a positive regardless of who brought them in.

If it is Butcher then I see no harm in him still doing the Scotland Assistants job (may even be of benefit) but not the Setanta work as well.

He also walked out at County. Seems quite dignified in his conduct at both clubs. (although not saying he's the best man for the job tho)

We've got rid of Brew - lets get a good man in (Knox, Butcher or Robbo will all do fine) and all start pulling in the same direction again. Yes Brew stayed FAR too long but that is done now and I think the condidates that the board have got for the new appointment are good. The board and / or club may have their short-comings but don't we all and we are still better run than a lot of other clubs. Lets all try and pull together now and concentrate on staying up.

If I get the job I could be there for a long time if I want to be. A chance to be settled for a good peroid, which doesn't come along too often in this game.

Robbo, Butcher or Knox - I'd be happy with any 1 of them.

I would be absolutely delighted if we got Archie Knox I really would. I reckon I'd do every away game for the rest of the season if we got him! Also you just know he'd pick Charlie or barry as his assistant too (well maybe!!)

There are both for and against arguments for Robbo and Butcher. I'd be very happy with either (yesterday I was more in favour of Butcher, today its Robbo - must be the coffee). Failing that I think Archie Knox would be the best candidate. The board have finally done the right thing, lets keep faith that they can do it again by appointing the correct man. Cooper, Adams, Duffy and Shearer don't inspire me much. McCall, Chisolm and Frail fill me with dread tho!
