Dundee United only came back up via a play off. We are in a much better position than many of the relegated clubs have been over the past few season. Lets not get c0cky or complacent tho. Let Dundee splash all the cash they like while we quietly get on with things.

Yeah he did, very similar situation too - a slim chance of keeping the team up but not to be. Although Hibs walked the 1st div, Brum scraped it. Not that that matters - promotion is promotion.

Spend as much as they like - it doesn't gaurantee success. The team that eventually goes up from the 1st div is rarely the favourite. If a team had gone down from the SPL last season (Gretna don't count - they were never a proper team) would St.Johnstone have had to work a little harder for the title? I read Paul Gallagher has been linked with St.Johnstone and Hibs btw.

Yes Alex McLeish did it with Hibs. I think it was Jim Duffy who got sacked and AM almost kept them up but 'twasn't to be and they strolled the 1st Division the next season. (then got into Europe in the SPL the following season I think)

I went to last weeks game with my Killie supporting mate and I knew he'd be supporting us this week but was surprised at how many of his mates (all Killie) want us to win this week too. Here's hoping...

I don't think our management team will leave should we be relegated, I think (and hope) they have more integrity. Money wise Falkirk are the team to go down, they've lots of money from the cup final and their run in the league cup and are also in Europe next season. But not that that matters really...

Aww... thanks! :blush02: Although I thought shouting at the fat ballboy at Falkirk to "Do the Truffle Shuffle" after he'd given us a wave was better! "We are the Teuchtars" at Ibrox after they started "we are the pee-poe" was another. (i've had a good season!)

I've seen some great players against Scotland playing for teams like France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Argentina. Even smaller nations have the odd gem in them like Belarus (Hleb), Iceland (Gudjonsson), Ukraine (Shevcchenko and Voronin). But the player that I've enjoyed watching the most in International games?..... James McFadden.

After the loss to Hamilton in January we were relegated. Huge credit to Terry n June for turning it around and bringing us back from the dead. Now FFS just finish the f**kin job. My nerves cannot take much more of this.
