Hello new 'un! Give it a wee while and we'll fix that for you! :thumb04: If some weird chap named Immortal Highland Bender (or something along those lines ) comes along and starts givin you a hard time don't worry - he does that with all the new folk. Best course of action is to tell him to **** aff. Then he'll like you! Welcome to the ups and downs of supporting SUPER CALEY!!
  5. Yeah, the defence is really worrying. There are only 2 defenders there that don't give cause for concern. I would bring Graham Alexander in, he's great in a Scotland shirt. Its obvious that Burley is getting rid of players over a certain age which is fine but some of the new (or recalled from International oblivion) faces worry me. I do have every faith in Burley but I will say that with that squad I'm glad it is a friendly we are playing.
  6. Hahahahahahahahahaha!! What a line!
  7. I think he was on loan at Southampton most of last season
  8. Rangers have finally signed Steve Davis. He is to give snooker lessons every Tuesday and Wednesday while Celtic play in the champions league.
  9. There are no ICT players in the squad for a good reason.
  10. Just got an email fron the SFA. Doesn't seem a very strong squad to me. Goalkeepers Craig Gordon (Sunderland) David Marshall (Norwich City) Allan McGregor (Rangers) Defenders Darren Barr (Falkirk) Christophe Berra (Heart of Midlothian) Gary Caldwell (Celtic) Callum Davidson (Preston North End) Stephen McManus (Celtic) Kevin McNaughton (Cardiff City) Gary Naysmith (Sheffield United) Steven Whittaker (Rangers) Midfielders Scott Brown (Celtic) Kris Commons (Derby County) Darren Fletcher (Manchester United) Paul Hartley (Celtic) James Morrison (West Bromwich Albion) Gavin Rae (Cardiff City) Barry Robson (Celtic) Kevin Thomson (Rangers) Forwards Kris Boyd (Rangers) David Clarkson (Motherwell) Steven Fletcher (Hibernian) James McFadden (Birmingham City) Kenny Miller (Rangers)
  11. Don't remember Ryan Esson's stunning double save very near the end of the match to grind out the draw for the dons? Or how about anyone you really don't like very much!
  12. CREDIT CRUNCH UPDATE: Riot police all over Europe are fearing for their jobs this coming football season after rangers were knocked out of European competition this week. There were riots in Glasgow & Kaunas last night… The Big Screens were working. What’s the difference between Rangers and an arsonist? An arsonist wouldn’t waste two matches.
  13. I think I'd rather watch coronation street or eastenders than the olympics (and thats saying something). I would rather support ross c*unty than any GB football team.
  14. I fear the worst this season. But maybe being favourites to go down will help us work together better. There didn't seem to be a lot of togetherness last season.

Im pretty sure that Liam Buchannan joined Partick not Hamilton
  17. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: Ahh - remember it well TM4TJ (well the game that is! And singing "I'd rather have a pint than a point" after the game too!) I can never spell nessacary/neccasary too. Ah well no fear!
  18. TM4TJ I don't think Absent Friend is a negative minded soul and wouldn't have posted this to start a lets be negative / have a go at Brew's weaknesses - thread. It just seems to be the way (almost) every single thread on here has gone over the past few months. The majority criticise brewster, Alex constantly tries to be (IMO overly) optimistic, Caley D has a continual go at the board/directors, IHE knows best, you tell people to stop whinning and Reedee15 spells everything wrong and puts two exclamation marks at the end of every sentence!! I believe that this is all down to the fact that a large majority of the support never wanted brewster back at the club (most for football related reasons, some for the way he walked out previously, some for both) and the fact that the club don't seem to be running themselves as professionaly as many feel they should. I've voiced my opinions on these matters more than once before on this board and will refrain from doing so again. For what its worth many threads are (IMO) tiresome as they all seem to end up in the above pattern eventually but I feel that this is down to the fact that all of the supporters on these boards care about their football club and are concerned about the coming season and feel that their view/opinion counts for nothing. Football fans are passionate creatures. (I'm sure there is a point in there somewhere but I'd better get back to work!) :sillywave: :016:
  19. Doncastor??? WTF??? :010: :029:

Definatly don't agree with you on that one Connie, Mike may have his faults but I really don't think this is one of them. If anything he's not big and bulky enough. Anyway some compettition for the #1 shirt is definatly welcome.
  21. KingBeastie replied to RossP's topic in Caley Thistle
To give Mike competition, to keep him on his toes, stop him getting complacent. In exactly the same way that Mike did while Mark Brown was #1.

Don't know why but I too think this'll be a good signing for us. Carry on! :003:
  23. I think there was 50 made, all were signed and sold for ?100 each if I recall correctly. Very interesting to note that someone has one that's not signed (tut tut!!). I say this because I thought i had the only unsigned (*cough* un-official) one! Although I believe mine was the last off the print press! :004: In fact I have it on very good authority that mine was the last off the press. :004:
