  1. The Scottish media puzzle me with thier analysis of that goal Heilandee. They all rave about it and go on and on - the keeper was up trying to help get a late equaliser and the ball had no pace at all when it eventually bounced over the line. I don't see what was so special about it. If the keeper had been there he'd just walk to it and grab it. It was hardly Barry Wilsons goal against 'well in the Scottish cup at Fir Park. :rolleyes02:
  2. Cheers Charles and Manni. Wow - some blasts from the past there!! Tommy Boyd playing for both sides! Some of the keepers too!! Stewart Kerr - whatever happened to him?! They could've had Gordon Marshall in both teams too :001: Must've been nice to see Gold back at Parkhead - only time I've seen him playing in the flesh was some game in February 2000!! :004: :016: Also will always remember Marshall scrambling back like mad and failing to stop Barry's shot from near enough the halfway line when we put well out the cup! :001: But best of all........ Sieb Dijkstra :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  3. He lost a bet with Lee McCulloch apparently. No idea what the bet was about tho.
  4. Do you know the line ups Charles?
  5. You mean buckfast don't you Scarlet :010: You dirty critter!
  6. Grant is the right choice IMO and if he has learnt from mistakes made this season he'll be even better.
  7. McGhee says that walking out on Leicester city to manage Wolves after less than 12 months was the biggest in this football careers so maybe he has learned his lesson? Maybe he just knows Hearts is a poisoned chalice? Either way I doubt he'll still be at Hearts by the end of next season.
  8. Is there a match review of this anywhere? I never got a paper yesterday, would like to see teams, scorers, etc. (I don't even know the result! - not that the result is really important tho!)
  9. I wouldn't be so sure he'll head to the central belt. He's had a poor time with clubs in the south and may fancy working with a manager who is/was a striker. Also look at the amount of players that we have taken on who have performed poorly and then come to ICT and resurect thier careers. Anyway I'm sure we'll find out soon enough
  10. There's only one thing worse than a male chauvinist and that's a woman who wont do as she's told... :016: :004:
  11. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: JVC I think you meant JCB [img width=500 height=307]http://www.yeomanscarart.co.uk/ekmps/shops/yeomanscarart/images/jcb-3cx.jpg :015: :015: :015:
  12. Sanctimonious, patronising drivel like this perhaps?
  13. While I think we never should have brought CB back to the club, that our results this season have been absolutely awful, that our form is relegation material and that we will finish next season bottom of the SPL I will get behind the team and the manager. I would like nothing more than to eat humble pie and for CB to prove my (and many others) fears wrong by doing a good job. I've said this before and I'll say it again - I do not wish CB ill or want to see him fail. The opposite is true. I want to see him doing good things and achieving much, it's only good for the team I support. I will happily admit my opinions of him as a manager were wrong and want to as well. It's up to CB to make this happen and I wish him every success and goodluck, I just don't think (as much as I want to) that I will be proved wrong. :007:
  14. :015: :015: :015: :017: Feck that - a blow up doll'd never take its turn to nip to the bakers on a saturday morning. Or buy me a pint when I'm broke at the end of the month and she's just been paid overtime. :016:
  15. During our good run Wyness and Niculae formed a great partnership. 2 intelligent and skillful players woking well together. Wyness has set up many of our goals and its this contribution I feel we'd miss the most. I'd rather Wyness than a workhorse like Bayne who runs and runs but with no end product. Got a feeling this will come back to haunt us. :029:
  16. Maybe someone would be kind enough to ask why St. Mirren can afford to pay more than us when our avarage attendances are higher. :007:
  17. We have a lad that works for us in London, he's a Charlton supporter and certainly doesn't wish Palace well! :014:
  18. :017: :017: :017: Not sure I'd call Bingham an ICT stalwart, he only had 1 season with us then p1ss3d off to play in the 3rd division with gretna cos mileson was dishing out silly money. Paul Ritchie however :021:
  19. A little off topic but it's anything goes... Al, I notice your Palace logo, is your afinity to ICT due to the fact that we play in red and blue stripes and that we also have an eagle on our logo? (and both teams are keech! :004: ) I just ask 'cos when I bided in London I often went about in my (3rd then 2nd division) ICT shirt and the 3rd division one was often mistaken for a Palace shirt as was my ICT scarf. BTW I've been to Selhurt a few times before (a mate was a Dons fan and took me to a few games). Best of luck in the play offs. :016:
  20. Good luck with the exam
  21. Unfortunatly we seem to be hearing that far too often of late
  22. Looks highly likely that this season will be our lowest ever finishing position :029:
  23. He must've initialed them... :016:
  24. 15th in the world is progress - it's the highest we've ever been (well 14 last month but...). We are not likely to be getting to the last 4 of euro champs and the last 8 of world cups, there are more people in London than in Scotland. We are a small country, we will never have the depth or resources of the nations you mention. Not many people do have resources and talent the like of Holland, Italy and France. As for 3 players - Craig Gordon is international standard, with keepers such as Italys Buffon saying he's an outstanding keeper. Scott Brown was magnificent in our last campaign, Alan Hutton has been in amazing form (will it last tho?) and McFaddens goal ratio at international level is wonderful. Sorry if you don't agree and no personal offence was meant in my first post.
