Bollox I am. The guy has played like that for years and gotten away with it. Now as one of the more senior and experienced players the expectation is on his shoulders and he simply doesn't have it.

Sorry mate, but i disagree. Duncan is a woeful excuse for a professional football player. He can't jump, tackle pass the ball or shoot on target. However he is still better than stratford. Which is very concerning

Heard that Butcher and Malpas approached the board this week and asked for a 5 year contract. Whether I believe it or not is a different matter.

Well Hayes was taking the majority of the crosses from that side, then as we really started pressing and dominating we decided to let our top scorer takes the set pieces when he should be in the box

...is bloody appallingut. We constantly got into dangerous positions and wasted cross after cross, corner after corner. So many of them went straight out of play. In our last attack of the game even esson came up and sanchez blasted the corner or free kick out of play. Esson gave him merry hell. Anyway, why was sanchez taking free kicks and corners anyway. A terrible result, but one of the most exciting games I've seen here for a long time. Although conceding 6 goals in two games is poor craic.

Wow, that picture of cradlehall was a blast from the past! A very young looking govan jaggie in there!! Believe that was the youth league eam rather than the street league one, although i could be wrong. Big T fan was the manager of the cradlehall team for its existence!!

"There are others they dont all need to be lionels brother" - what the feck does that mean? There was a tall coloured lad sitting with lionel, odiambo, duncan and sutherland. I was told he is lionels brother and he is a footballer so it got me wondering if he was on trial.

..... I have to say that i've been far from impressed with our performances so far this season. We only managed to overcome Montrose on penalties, started slow against Annan before coming good, played poor against Dunfermline before snatching victory with virtually our only shot of the game, struggled today against the team who came up from division two and i don't think we managed a shot on target for the entire game. I don't think Stanford (sanford) sp? or sanchez are division one quality. On the other hand we have played 4 competitive games without defeat. When was the last time that happened? We have scored 5 goals and only conceded 1. We are joint top of the league, even with several first team players out with injuries and suspensions. Our players surely can only get better with regards to their shooting ability and we had a very good crowd - bigger than a lot of our spl games. I'm still on the fence. I yearn for the days of pele with strikers like ritchie, stewart and wyness (1st time round) - perhaps i was spoilt early on with our cavalier style of football. Will we ever see that quality of strikers again? Perhaps not. But we could easily have lost all of the games so far this season but have come good. Luck? DOn't they say teams make their own luck? Looking forward to the next installment!!
