  1. Wasn't quite as draining as that Serbia game, don't think I've recovered yet 😂
  2. What baffles me is, we spend all this time keeping possession and passing it backwards, as if it's going to lead to somebody finding a pass, but then we just hoof it anyway. May as well just hoof it right away...
  3. Badly needed 3 points. Not entirely convincing 😜 but could have taken a couple of chances, made it safe and given us fewer nerves...
  4. Well, 3 out of 4 isn't bad. On to Tuesday night. Looking for Dundee to beat Ayr while we're hoping to take something at Stark's.
  5. Would have been pretty confident of winning it last season. Maybe play it next time we're a league above them to make it fair. Obviously most of us will not be alive to see it...
  6. I've got mine. That guy Brian who runs the programme shop in Albion Road was trying to buy it... ... before you ask. No. Well done the Hibs today.
  7. Sadly the pair of them have been forced to play every week because of our threadbare squad. Of the two I feel that Roddy is the more natural footballer but neither looks like the next Ryan Christie, possibly not even the next Polworth. I don’t see that throwing on any of the youngsters would have helped. I would have gambled with Keatings though.
  8. Yeah that's my experience of being involved for a few years with a tier 5 team.
  9. Do you know they stayed? Jack mentioned it but they could have travelled up today and used the hotel to relax.
  10. John McGlynn’s Raith are a good side. We grew into the game I thought. Jittery for the first 20 but we were the better team in the second half although the last 10 were a bit fraught. Defended as if our lives depended on it apart from the opening 20. Fitba is 80% between the lugs and we need a win to inspire confidence. Carson is one of the few players to handle Kennedy this season. Dan Mackay doesn’t have the temperament to be a top player IMO though wide left may not be his best position. That’s twice in a week he’s been booked because he’s too lazy to track back and put in a proper challenge. Looking for Ayr/Arbroath to lose tomorrow but yours truly predicted Arbroath to drop like a stone a few days ago and after tomorrow we’ll have a game in hand (again 😉).
  11. Big performance required tomorrow. Arbroath, Morton, Ayr all facing difficult away matches.
  12. I’d even take the Pele years in div 1. We could beat anybody then. I’m nearly greeting at the state our club is in.
  13. Hoping. I've got hundreds of memories watching ICT since 1994 but if I go over the past 4 years all I can come up with is Tannadice in the Cup.
  14. For me I just don't feel we're ICT any more. I've had this feeling that we're just another club since 2016. The magic has gone. This must be how it feels to support all the other clubs.
  15. A bit strange that Grant took about 10 minutes to do this as even a blind man knew that McCann would have them trying to keep possession at the back - even the two commentators were predicting it pre-match. But early on they just left us loads of space to get on with it.
  16. Yip, appreciate that. When I say a fit Doran, I don’t mean the player who has filled a jersey but has struggled through games when he’s obviously not fit. His whole career has been a bit tragic, although if it hadn’t, he wouldn’t have been with us. He’s still only 29, but I’m slowly coming round to the view that maybe we should cut our losses.
  17. We'd be a different team if Doran and MacDonald were fit. It is what it is though.
  18. Funny that, because I was just thinking earlier that it would be a nice little earner if I put a fiver on a draw each week for the rest of the season.
  19. I think Arbroath will be right back in there. Although you could argue that they faced a QoS team today who seem to have found some sort of miracle.
  20. Better second half but still underwhelming, a bit embarrassing really shelling it up to Shane. Also really annoying how they always go back to Ridgers even when there's a spare man. He's a decent shot stopper but inevitably his distribution is poor so it's just squandering possession. Have to say Alloa very rarely resorted to the long hoof, far less nervous looking in their own box than us.
  21. The boy got away from Brad there. Wonder if Devine is carrying a knock or McCann has just dropped him.
  22. Great goal. Out of the blue. Have to admit I was about to post that they were all over us. Hope we can build on this.
  23. Looked like Alloa were happy to let us have it in our own half but not surprisingly they’re pressing harder now and we’re struggling to cope.... oops there’s a goal.
