  1. https://goo.gl/maps/J5rRSdpJxMp2M1icA You left a massive clue
  2. Ah right, got it. I knew it was a sea loch and you were facing east. But only took seconds with your clue...
  3. Was back again last week
  4. I'll have a Peedie in his honour tonight. Rest in Peace Big Man.
  5. Astra game, 2015
  6. Remember when you had to cut a hole in the wing if you wanted to fit an aerial Sure fire way of starting off the rust...
  7. Andy Macrae got 3 and looks some player, my MoM apart from his goals. Other scorers Andy Sutherland, Jordan Macrae, Colin Williamson, Martin MacLean. Dale Gillespie played and Tony Dingwall, that guy that the County fans thought was better than Ryan Christie... I went to the game as Turriff was the only ground in the HL I had never visited. Here's Capn Josh who gave himself the first half. Wee Andy Macrae is on the right, Gillespie on the left.
  8. I’m more inclined to think we’re fighting for second place so I’m looking for a late Killie winner to knock the stuffing out of Arbroath and deny them any encouragement…
  9. Absolutely spot on. I see there’s been a lot of debate about whether their actions were legal or not, with BoJo looking a bit silly. your first pic is a cracker. Only ever been to Orkney twice, via the St Ola in 1999 and the Pentalina in 2019. Been to Shetland maybe 20 times, St Clair boats and Northlink and planes. Planes can work out pretty cheap compared to the boat if you don’t have to drag kids along and some in-law lends you a car at the other end… Against that, I must have been to Lewis well over 100 times.
  10. Scenes in the away end Flashbacks to the 4-3 game when Foran scored. Thought we were the better side first half although there was a lack of intensity, obviously Dodds thinks they train well so just treat matches like training sessions. Second half we were miles off it and would have got booed off if the game had ended at 1650. Wee Billy must have a sore neck watching all those hoofs going over his head. Aaron’s finished and Broadfoot has played too many games this season for an old man. First two subs made no difference but Cammy and Walsh coming on did. Don’t usually criticise refs but I’ve observed Colin Steven since he started in the non league and he’s consistently hopeless.
  11. I have to hand it to you and probably weeman too, you must remember every bend in the road, I take it you worked together. I still can't find this spot never mind the old bit. How far from Braemore is it? Edit - got it now, it's away past Fain
  12. Oh well, every day’s a school day, no offence weeman . I always thought Destitution Road had a specific meaning due to it being “work creation” as a lot of Lewis folk used to call that sort of thing. I suppose Desolation kind of works too. ETA- I'll have to check the skyline when I'm up there in April. Doesn't look like Sgurr Mor whether it's heading East or West. You don't really see Sgurr Mor unless you're on the Ullapool road, A835.
  13. Aye, Fain cottage I would call it, never heard if it was an Inn before. IBM's laughing as it's Destitution Road, so Dylan probably never visited
  14. This one was 5 minutes earlier
  15. We were in Glasgow in January. You must have seen the Riverside Museum as it opened in 2011. I went over the other side for a photo and seconds later the lights went off
  16. Sorry guys, came on to wake the thread up out of hibernation and obviously it's me been doing the hibernating... Here's one from last month. I'll need the 4 letter name of the house. It's by a main road.
  17. If you want a whole album there’s always “One Trick Pony”…
  18. “Learn How to Fall” ”Everything Put Together Falls Apart” ”The Boy in the Bubble”
  19. Quite a list of things happening here… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/60543803
  20. Unlucky. We’ve probably edged it so far with good efforts from Thompson and Carnihan but HeRts take the lead with their first shot on target. Absolutely Baltic here at Tynie.
  21. Certain ex-posters on here didn't ever really get the concept of "football fan" Nearly everybody on here is a fan who would contribute more if they could afford it. From anyone who goes to half a dozen games a year, to ST holders, to pitchside boards, to match sponsors and exec boxes, to buying a seat on the board. I've never lived in Inverness, just visited regularly for family reasons since the 70s. My perception from outside is that obviously there are far fewer big-money players than exist in Edinburgh or Dundee or wherever, but the handful who do exist, suffer from massive egos that prevent them cooperating with each other for the sake of the club. [insert tin hat emoji]
  22. Elgin's got Gordon & MacPhail. Dingwall's got... eh... Wimpy.
  23. Given the current level of mutiny apathy whatever, is there still a bus going down on Friday night?
