I thought we played some great stuff first half. Ok so we conceded two of the softest goals I have ever witnessed but it seemed that if the first half had carried on for 3 hours we'd still have won no matter how many Killie scored. But the second half we were never in it !! Didn't have the same range of passing and only two clear cut chances - Black's header then Rankin's free kick. Maybe the Hastings substitution knocked us of balance? Still felt gutted at the end to lose the game !!! :008:

This is not a criticism, more an observation, but... I think we lack real width in the team. We have never really replaced Barry Robson !! Ok we've got Barry Wilson to play wide but these days he tends to run towards the inside instead of beating his man on the wing. Our current width comes from Tokely and McBain/Hastings. I'd like to see Zander Sutherland given a start on the left to see how he does.

Totally agree with your last paragraph... I must admit looking back that I probably didn't go to watch Jags in the early 90's, when they were pretty poor at that time, as much as I should have. How I wish I could go back in time just to go and watch Jags at Jags Park again....however they played...!!!....amazing how much you miss something when it's gone! What I'm trying to say is we shouldn't take ICT in the SPL for granted....if we were ever to go back down to the 1st Division we'd be only to glad to watch us playing 7th in the SPL !!! Midfield was posted missing today. Hard to criticise Dargo & Bayne cos they had next to no chances!! I hoped that the substitutions might have given us more creativity but they just didn't make any difference at all. Gutted to lose the game.....Motherwell were poor. I don't agree with the calls for Dargo/Wyness partnership up front. Tried it last week and didn't really work and infact we looked more dangerous against Hearts when Bayne came on. It's obvious Wyness lacks confidence at the minute. But to say CC isn't the man for the job...???????? :006:

A complete joke. He was utterly useless today and gave the ball away for Falkirks 2nd. That said, his 1st free kick was a cracker and the 2nd a pure fluke. Have to admit I was shaking my head in disbelief when I saw McBain and Hastings go off. I couldn't believe that Rankine was staying on cos I thought he was having a poor game !!!!! Then Hart comes on and is outstanding. Rankine stays on and scores 2 !!!! :015: Have to hand it to CC :clapping04: and wtf do I know.........eh ? :010: Has to have been the best and worst game I have ever seen in my life ! For 70 minutes we were as poor as I can remember. A vast improvement on the St Mirren performance of 2 weeks ago. Created plenty chances but the ball just wouldn't hit the net. Draw probably a fair result all said. Got mine today...yes the sizes are ar&e for elbow (not the club's fault!) but this is by far the best home shirt ICT have ever had. I had to exchange my original order for the next size up but the shop staff service was exemplary, couldn't have been more helpful. When you consider they're working from a cramped portacabin full of boxes and boxes of new shirts they deserve a lot of credit !! :clapping04:

I sense a wee bit feeling of doom & gloom on here. I felt 3-0 flattered sheffield utd a bit..... on another night we'd have beaten them 4-3.
