  1. And even then it was a like-for-like change with Willox replacing Longstaff and playing on the right, with Bavidge switching to the left. I was hoping that McKay would’ve been withdrawn for Wotherspoon or Allan, and Bavidge moved central. Longstaff should’ve moved to the right wing because McIntyre plays like our left winger anyway. But no, we just carried on doing the same things and hoping for a different outcome !
  2. Absolutely. Is the pressure/inexperience getting to Kellacher ? Think he made a few wrong calls tonight.
  3. Goodbye League title. Goodbye
  4. I think that was near a perfect performance. 👏 We Scots have been spoilt for goals this week, and tonight’s first was another beauty 😃 On another note, what’s happening with the north car park? The grass embankment has been removed between the north stand and northernmost car park gate, and replaced with a wooden barrier. Seems unnecessary?
  5. Like everyone has said; we were totally comfortable until we scored. The performance after that was shambolic ! 🤯
  6. First half was a shocker. We really should’ve been 3-0 down, Kelty missed a bit of a sitter early doors after a through ball left them with just the keeper to beat but a miss hit spared us. We learned nothing from that and their first goal came from a similar through ball! We had most of the possession first half but did very little with it. Far too many times we’re passing when we should be shooting! Bavidge cut a frustrated figure getting little service. His strength is his pace, but our lead up play is so slow, predictable, and sideways that he hardly had a touch. Second half we started well and deservedly equalised. But then we slowed down again and lost our momentum. The substitutions seemed to make us worse? We did have chances to score again but poor finishing let us down. Must be said that the atmosphere today was soooo quiet. Admittedly there wasn’t much to get excited about but it really needs to be better. I think it definitely affects the players?
  7. Was a wee bit concerned at half time. Felt the first half was a bit subdued and their equaliser a shock. Needn’t have worried. In the second half we blew them away. Our 4th goal being the pick of the bunch with a brilliant combination from Billy to Bavidge who powered through on goal and slammed past the keeper. Great feeling to be back at the top of the league again, especially from a -5 start. Special mention to DRoss who to be fair is a much better assistant referee than he is a politician, . . . . and he’s a feckin sheeeite assistant referee! How he managed to determine a goal kick against wotherspoon when the defender clearly kicked the ball out is beyond me!
  8. I guess we’ll see a lot of games like this for the rest of the season where teams sit in against us. Game was crying out for us to get more shots at goal. Thankfully Macleod stepped up to do exactly that. He’s fast developing into a fantastic player! 🥰
  9. I welcome the name change ! ☺️☺️🤣 🔴⚫🔴⚫
  10. I've always thought Nessie was female, so who's this Nessa imposter ?? 🤔🤣🤣🤣
  11. Let’s not talk about that c@nt ever again!
  12. Hardly a sideways pass today, we looked to get forward at every opportunity and fully deserved the win. Where has that Billy Mckay been hiding all season? I haven’t a clue how we played or what happened in the last half hour of the game, was too busy refreshing my phone every 10secs to see the Annan score! Today was a good day ❤️🖤💙
  13. As expected, the loss of Bavidge has completely floored us. 😥 I take it there’s absolutely no chance of him appearing in any of our final 2 (or more likely 4) games?🙏
  14. No need to panic. We’re at home next week and our home form has been fantastic! 🙄
  15. Bet it’s not a skeleton team they play next week ! 🤔
  16. We could’ve subbed Billy and pushed Bray up front instead. Anything to try something different because it was so clearly not working today!
  17. One of the poorest showings I’ve ever seen from an Inverness side! Was obvious 10 minutes in that things weren’t working but we just continued to play the same side-to-side way. Then when we eventually decided to try and change things the substitutions were baffling! I’ve said it before, but if we don’t play with a striker we’re going to struggle to score goals. Why do we always save the ***** performances for the home games?
  18. An inexperienced 18 year old has come in and been our top scorer in the few games he's played. This is one of the (if not the main) reasons we've clawed back the 15 point deduction. Don't worry, I havent forgotten and do appreciate what's happened since October.
  19. Play Bray or Stewart up front. Drop Mckay to the bench, or move him into midfield if he insists on playing. There is zero point in continuing to play him as a striker, he offers no threat and all of our opponents know it!
  20. Still no official word on Bavidge? If he’s out for rest of season we’re in big trouble!
  21. What’s so frustrating is that we could and should have won the last two home games, and we’d now be sitting in 6th place just 2 points off the 4th place playoff spot! That’s gone now, unfortunately.
  22. Truth is he really isn’t bringing anything to the team anymore
  23. Great fast-paced start where we looked brilliant and deservedly took the lead. Then as the first half wore on we got slower and slower, letting Alloa back into the game. Lost what looked like a soft goal in the second half. Then we tried to up the pace again, but in truth whenever we got around their 18 yard line we slowed everything down. My heart skipped a beat when we were awarded the penalty, then sank when I saw who was taking it! A very poor penalty easily saved by the keeper. That’s two games in a row now where McKay has cost points. How long do we persist with him in the starting 11? He’s become a liability!
  24. I think AS's coments about a new stadium are maybe being blown out of proportion a wee bit. He began the subject by saying that the current stadium is too big and expensive for the club to run (IMO it's an awful stadium anyway - the stands are far too far away from the pitch, and it's wide open to the elements). He then made off the cuff suggestion of a new stadium at the campus. In our current predicament, this is obviously pie in the sky! Perhaps there's some mileage in it in as much as he might just be planting the seed that there could be potential for any new owner to come in and flog the stadium lease to some unrelated Freeport-interested business and move the club to a new location? Maybe RM has similar thoughts, and if the club was to be liquidated and he's left holding the lease to some vacant land near the Freeport, he might stand to make significantly more money that he's currently owed/secured by selling the lease?
  25. Interesting vision of the future there in moving the stadium. Would that create a 'Campus Camp Nou' I suppose that's one way of working around the lease ownership issues?
