  1. Mate, were we at the same game?
  2. Howden, Re your last line: I do...and I agree.
  3. Quite agree Joe. See my first post. If it becomes a regular feature.....
  4. Spot on Rig....and......but......a good, motivated, professional side will have played their socks off despite that. We didn't. Managers fault.
  5. Alex, A sound comment and I agree with your general line. The Pars looked a good side (albeit physical and unsportmanlike) and certainly not the worst side I have seen at the TCT Stadium. However, this cannot obscure our tactical inability. Good players who performed no worse than they have all season (albeit we have had MUCH better games) who were just cluless when it came to tactics and variety. My biggest worry ties inwith the above, I can't think of an ICT player who you could say had a bad game (excepting McSwegan - he really should be on the council park teaching his son - that's his level). Some had good games. Patelinen, Wilson, Tokely...not their best but sound; and yet we were pap. Why? tactics and motivation that's why....who'se fault is that?
  6. Chris, an increased attendance matters not if it adds nothing to the atmosphere or the income.
  7. I was RIGHT in front of the incident. Barry did not fall until inside the box. He did not dive, it was the physicality of the Pars defender that made him fall and maybe...... .... I am unsure of the rules here. He might have just accidentally fallen due to pressure, his footing, physicality etc. Didn't stop me shouting for a pen though. However, it was either nothing or a foul and if a foul it was deffo inside the box.
  8. Alex, that is toss and you know it. Subsidy for buying in bulk. Give your head a shake man!

    vs Falkirk

Tink, get drunk before the game, shout yer head off and have a laugh. Don't worry if folks don't join in. They will envy your confidence.

    Couldn't believe it...what a ponse....however...and I can't verify this......out of the corner of my eye...I think I did see Ross give him a dig.....maybe not!
  11. Quick question Joe. Have you got a kid under 16 who you have paid a season ticket for?
  12. You are right. I expect more. And I am allowed to. I support an established SPL side in a sizeable (for Scotland and our catchment area) City. I am passed being starstuck for being here and we have a better squad than we are seeing. Fraser - A good solid keeper and kicker, not at fault at all today Tokley - generally, every game, sound knowledgabe unphased. Dodds- Until lately rock solid. Caffrey - Showed some grat last minute timing today - if pulled out of position too much Hastings - Hmmm Black - hothead but WHAT skill etc etc etc We Start McSwegan and play crap. We lack ideasa (again) and look lost. Where is the fitness, the work rate, the style, the skill, the variety...that we used to have with the same playewrs? What has changed? Charlie
  13. Upset...Just a wee bitty. I missed Charlie's comments. what did he say? "Look where this club has come from" "We were unlucky with some of the decisions" "This happens when you play at this level.....repeat....look where we have come from when we are dissapointed at loosing to a premiership side". This is not the players fault. They didn't have a clue what the game plan was...other than....as usual lads.
  14. McSwegan was having a decent game!! Are you having a laugh!! How about getting the ball 25 yards out unmarked, onside and with nobody between him and the keeper and standing still for 3 seconds until Barry Wilson catches up with him so he can pass and absolve himself of responsibility for any further action. Absolute rubbish. He does not 'hold up play' he holds up progress!
  15. ....Should be able to raise its game regardless of the lack of "things to play for" Season ticket holder who has never felt so let down by the club as I do today. Even during the Motherwell home defeat. We were never ahead in that game. McSwegan is a Bollard!! Cannot move with the ball, moves like oil tanker without it. We were pants and the man at the top must take the flak. We passed..... OK, individual skill levels were....OK. The problems were a lack of passion (motivation...managers fault) and, more importantly, and this is becoming too regular, a complete lack of inspiration. We play the same game week in week out. We don't know how to break down other teams, we don't know how to change our play (managers fault). I think we have a great squad of skilled players here who seem to be running out of ideas. Next year will be a hard year!!!!
  16. I'll let it go for today but if this becomes a regular feature for kids what will the club do about those of us who have forked out for season tickets for our kids? Any refund? Like the rest of our society it smacks of penalising the responsible. In this case penalising the loyal.

Chibber, I agree with you about Barry. I suppose I shouldhave added 'When we are 2 goals up and can afford to experiment!' But we havn't got there yet this season. I would just like to see Zander get more experience.

Deffo agree with Morgan in there - what has happened to him lately? Also would like, after Sunday, to see more of Sutherland in the final 15to20mins. Perhaps for the knackered Barry.
  19. I like the line "he looks as knackered after 5 minutes as he does after 90" Notice how most of the posts are about his pace? Well he always seems to amble back when he has gone upfield . . . .but he most often seems to get back in time as well. He is a big lad who looks slower than he is. But he can also put in a good tackle and intimidate attackers...er that's what you want out of a defender don't you?
