  1. Excellent! We gonna get the same train as last time?
  2. Things is, his team doesn't suck. They managed to beat us, should have beat Dunfermline and have had a few unlucky results. Robbo has done a fantastic job there, and is turning them around - shows that he isn't just a one trick pony, and can produce the goods when needs to. Still doesn't damper my hatred of Livingston though, stupid lass who worked in the Chinese! And stupid Train Stations as well!
  3. Who cares if we get beat or not? It's just gonna be a great big party, or should that be wake?
  4. I will be there, I suggest maybe one person going as a Minister who conducts the memorial service! No doubt we will get told to take off the ties!
  5. Me and my two pals were singing up the back!
  6. From Supergoals, The Sun, Monday April 17th Also, the sun said in their match report that Broonie should be Kirin Cup-bound.
  7. I'm pretty sure it was Tokely who got the tackle that resulted in the 2nd yellow.
  8. No I am not from city of silence, but for some reason I have a connection with them, and a few season ago I made the decision to be a supporter! Although not a big fan, I do look for their result every week and own a few of their shirts!

Brewster will kick himself out next!!
  10. Thought the whole team was good, for once we got a few decisions go our way. But still thought that Morgan was poor, and we seemed afraid to shoot at goal, instead trying to run it in to the net. McCallister was once again poor.
  11. I was so happy!! Ma Sky Blues might be pish in the Championship, but if they can beat the Tic, I don't care!

So no one going from Glasgow?
  13. Is anyone planning on travelling to the match from Glasgow tomorrow? I know that ITNjnr isn't planning on going, but I would like to go through seeing as I have never been to firpark before. I think it would be a good trip, and a chance for many of us central belters to have a look at the players that Charlie is keen on keeping and introducing. From what I can gather, the best bet is to go to Airbles, and trains leave Glasgow Central at 07 and 37 every hour. Anyone else?

    Gary Smith

Smith to Leave Hibs Anyone got any thoughts about this? He says he reckons he has one or two years left, but would maybe like to go into coaching. How about we give him a chance, take him on as a coach let Parkie and CC mentor him, but at the same time we gain a quality defender. It's worth a look at least.
  15. Might not be very exciting, but I will be there supporting ICT until the end. I can understand why the split was introduced, however other methods could have been taken against it. Increasing the number in the league is a bad idea, we just don't have enough teams at the moment, who would benefit from it. Do you really want to hear about the destruction of some poor small team (Airdrie, Forfar etc...) every week by the old firm. In the very long term it might increase the quality of these teams, but I think it would do more damage then good, and could possibly force the smaller clubs to go out of business. Fans of teams like us (at the moment) are against the split because of our current position. The season has effectivly ended for us, and we have no goal (apart from 7th). What would you say about the supporters of Livingston or Dunfermline? Both clearly in the relegation area, and playing teams from the lower half, teams that they are more likely to beat. It would definatly set up a fantasticly entertaining battle for who gets relegated. We moan because of where we are, not because of the split itself. What if we were to have a great season, then they get rid of the split and try to "forecase" where each team would finish and place us quite highly. We then have Rangers, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Celtic amongst the last games of our season. Yet we become poor, and are deep in the relegation battle. The SPL, thinking that an exciting end would increase revenue, put Dunfermline against St Mirren, Falkirk, Motherwell, Kilmarnock and Dundee Utd. Without the split, we go down, Dunfermline stay up. With the split, it is a much more evened and fair ending to the season.
  16. Well what I saw, there was no "slumping back into the seat." The incident I saw was someone trying to put their foot through the seat many times, you weren't even standing next to me, you were standing behind me, and the seat you were "slamming" was next to me. So by slamming it, then slumping back into it, you were doing a grand job. It didn't happen once either, it happened more then once. And there were more seats then that done in.
  17. If Livingston get relegated I think we should make an approcah from Houlahan!
  18. I'm not invalidating their decision, but what I am saying is that they just don't know enough about the laws of the game...at all. And most of them would admit it. It is well known that many players, managers and pundits do not know enough about the laws of the game, **** I know of a few who have publicly admitted it. You cannot have an unqualified manager giving a rating for a referee, especially if that referee had been involved in that particular managers match. Can you imagine if we had managers like Arsene Wenger, who fails to see anything that his team has done wrong, in the same room as a referee, trying to judge him? It just wouldn't work. The only way we can improve relations between Managers and Referees is if the clubs actually send along delegates, managers and players to the regular meetings that the SFA hold with their referees to discuss decisions. Also, players need to actually know all the laws of the game, and I think that they should be put through the referee test, or at least a test on the laws of the game. Especially the younger ones (I remember a match with Ross County vs Hamilton u/14's where they were trying to say that you could be offside from a throw-in) and it wouldn't harm them. This guy at the Killie match will most likely be punished, just look at the fixtures and where he is thrown to. Remember the famous incident at with Rangers and Hearts last season? From getting pretty much an SPL game every week, he was thrown down to do 3rd and 2nd Division matches for a few months. That is how you punish them. I do agree that there should be a board where managers can discuss certain decisions, shed light and have some form of input, but in the form of actually rating the referee it can't be done.

If I bloody get a concession this time. "Nah, sorry mate, we don't do student discount" "Yeah but you club says you do." "Well, we don't" In that stupid annoying Livi Scummy Accent.
  20. Did Rangers not try some sort of Smart Card that failed to work?
  21. Damaging seats allegedly? There is no allegedly about it, it was a ******* disgrace that these neds did it. There was a guy next to me who was clearly trying to kick a seat in. I hope the club gets fined for this, might make these little runts stand up and think what they are doing. Congratulations to the old man who turned round and said something about it, hooligans is not what we want at this club.

    I shall be there!
  23. I find that a poor idea BE! Managers don't know enough, and see things through tinted eyes when it comes to referees. What we need is more money put into the development of referees, and also for refs to actually have a better relationship with the press. That and teams actually need to start teaching players about the rules of the game, and put them through the initial Referee's course.
  24. Aye, was gutting IHE!! Only me and ITNjnr made it through on the train (although Riley turned up later on apparently). Left getting stuck at Livi South for 2 hours harder to take as well! But such is life, still getting annoyed at CC's inability to make a substitution. Ok, we were heading for a loss, so what would it have mattered if we gave young Ben Jackson a wee run about! Was cautious over Tokely's inclusion, but he played well. Morgan was dire, until we went behind then he seemed to come up with the goods, and Barry Wilson was everywhere! Ach, was an allright day out!
