Team V Falkirk
I think McCaffrey should take Tokelys place to show him that even though Proctor left, he can still lose his place. Also Duncan and Morgan in for McBain and Rankin. -------------------Brown------------------- Caff-------Dods--------Munro-------Hastings Wilson-----Black------Duncan-------Morgan -----------Dargo---------Bayne--------------- I think that possibly Keogh will come on for Wilson and possibly McSwegan coming on because they will be surprised to see him come on.

Reserve Game tonight
Anyone know how it went. The Challenge cup scores so far are: Albion 3-2 Arbroath Clyde 0-0 Ayr Morton 2-1 St Johnstone Ross County 2-0 Gretna :010: :010: :010: :010: :010: :010: :010: :010: Looks like Gretna are having a reality check. If Ayr win, they are all shocks!!

Munro and Brown
According to Teletext.... (1) Grant Munro is in 'early' contract talks about extending his contract. The inverness lad is a key part of the team and Christie sees him a vital part of the team for the present and future. Christie gave him a target of 2 goals this season (after scoring 3 in 153 apps before) and Chrisite is impressed he has already acheived this. (2) Christie believes Mark Brown deserves a Scotland call-up because he is performing better than Graeme Smith overall. He believes his recent form is worthy of it and that Brown consistently puts in good performances. After reading these, I am glad about Munro contract talks becuase he is THE un-sung hero in our squad. However, I don't think Christie should be telling Walter who to pick. We all know Brown should be in the Scotland squad but by saying this I think may just limit his chances. However, hopefully I will be proved wrong and he is on the bench against France!!!

Wilson Contract
As far as I am concerned, this site is better than Sportnetwork and is still very popular I believe. Keep up the good work Scotty!! :clapping04: Anyway, back to the topic, Barry Wilson 100% deserves a new contract for his play. He is a vital part of the team and I think will become a good coach in the future. Re-signing him, I thought, was one of the best signings we have ever made. Congrats Bazza on the form, keep it up!! :clapping04: :clapping04:

Serious Injuries
A massive shock and my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. The club has abandoned their next match as a sign of respect for the man.

Motherwell 1 v 4 ICT (09/09/06)
I was there and I don't think it was flattering. We definitely deserved to win and in the last 15 mins they looked like a team that would struggle in the 1st division and we capatilised on it. Well done to all goalscorers especially McAllister on getting his first league goal for the club (I think!). By the end of the match Barry Wilson looked absolutely knackered after he put in 100% effort throughout. His cross for the second was perfect!!

Who will be our top scorer this season?
As long as the goals are spread out amongest the team, I don't mind who ends up top scorer, because at the end of the day, its a team performance.

Trialists?
:015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: lol Seriously apparently two young championship players. One a defender I believe?
-
Our Most Underated Player
he is the only player able to hold down a place in the defence (apart from tokely) and should be given a lot of credit for this. Could catch up with Tokelys appearance record in future life. A true Inverness legend.

mcswegan
A lot of interesting mixed views on this board. Everyone has reasons for their opinion and it is healthy to have an argument now and again. I feel that it is a wrong signing BUT I am willing to give him a chance as I will back Christie 100% through thick and thin. Remember it takes time in a managers first job. Remember Robbo took us from 1st to 4th and no-one was calling for his head. This is the SPL and it is tough as we are still learning in the SPL. He will make wrong and brilliant decisions and I can't wait to see if McSwegan was a good or bad decision.

mcswegan
The club have done the right thing in taking him on trial. At first I thought this was a joke but now I believe he would be a good squad player. Another potential coach in the making and surely could supply a few SPL goals. Whether Christie offers him a deal or ditches him after his trial, I am sure it will be the right.

Another Missed Oppurtunity
i remember when we played kilmarnock away in april 2005 it was adults £10 and concessions £1. Why cant the club do that???
-
Tickets for Hearts..
A really stupid decision by Hearts. They should allow pay at the gate. Could someone from the club not bring the rest of the tickets and be infront of the turnstiles and sell them to anyone who turns up with no ticket?
-
ICT 1-1 CELTIC (20/08/06)
still 0-0. celtic dominating but our defence is solid so far.

Brewster's Tactical Genius
Brewsters record at Tannadice speaks for itself: Played: 20 Won: 1 (5%) Drawn: 9 (45%) Lost: 10 (50%)

Match Previews
The Celtic one is now available to view.

christie's going shopping ....
Christie will be looking at the best buys, not too expensive and not too bad. I feel Morrisons are good at these offers. They normally have buy one get one free which would be of use!! Seriously, hope Christie finds 2 good players that will fit in well.

Ian Black
A big loss but I think we could manage. No one man is bigger than a club. As long as he goes and FURTHERS his football by playing for a decent club. If he goes to Utd, it will do him no good.

Another Ex Player Moves On
I think Paul Ritchie is now at East Fife. And Tom Parratt has already extended his short-term contract at Hamilton. He has signed until the end of the season now.

Match Previews
I will move this thread in a day. The match previews are avaliable by going to "Footy Focus" then "Fixtures/Results" and clicking on "Preview" beside the next fixture. Just incase nobody knew they were there.
