  10. Lost my internet connection shortly after Hayes scored, which meant no radio and no way of knowing what was happening as my lad was playing elsewhere. Had to watch Man U blowing bubbles in London. Reading the thread it sounds like an animated game with a ref who should be in charge of Highland League and no higher. Agree that it sounds like Foran should have been subbed before getting the inevitable second yellow, which appears to have resulted in the other 2 sendings off. Starting to look like Dundee's league, but still think the top seven teams will be taking lots of points off each other and anything can happen.

  12. Not going to quote Gringo Jnrs reply # 15 again, but we are in a league where 7 teams are in with a realistic shout of winning. All those teams will be taking points off each other, throughout the season. We have yet to string a run of wins together, but are still in touch. Not suggesting we will finish top, but it won't take many games when the team performs for 90 minutes instead of 45 for us to find ourselves further up this league. As for earlier suggestions about Brewster in this thread. I think he was good for us the first time around, as we effectively had 2 captains on the pitch and we benefitted from his playing experience. His tenure at Dundee Untied should have had klaxons going off among our directors who should have realised he was not ready for out and out management.
  13. I too have given blood since my teenage years. I try to donate when I am at home, which is about 3 times a year. The Blood Donor centre at Raigmore are normally able to fit in donors during the day, in addition to those donating platelets. For those who don't like needles, close your eyes/look away or distract yourself in some acceptable manner. Was never desperately keen on needles myself, but having given over 5 gallons over the years, I suppose I have got used to it. PS Nice response Yngwie
  14. Thanks Don for the effort you have gone to, getting this off the ground. Have downloaded, but the start time equates to 10.30 pm here and I am up for work at 5.00am. Think the only way I could play, would be going all in until all my chips were gone in order to get some sleep. Hopefully I will be able to play in future games, but Good luck to all for tonight.
  15. Partick haven't conceded many goals at Firhill this season. Thought we could at least got a draw out of them though. Who is the next Darren Dods or Bobby Mann for that matter/
  16. now we need thick fog, or a rule change that ends games at half time:)
  17. Just switched to MFR - open all mics just said 1-1 then praised Esson for a brilliant save. They also keep referring to Thistle forgetting that there are 2 of them playing.
