The Aramco compounds, which are enormous and multinational are a separate entity, with their own security force and women are allowed to drive within the compound. (The one near me is about the size of Inverness.) Problem with Arab women driving on that compound is if the wear a full abaya (head to toe) they look at everything through a black veil which cannot be helpful for part time drivers.
