ICT -V- Ross County : matchnight thread
Just had a quick look on the gypo forum to see what our dear neighbours are making of it... This made me lol: "Johnny Hays should then have been sent off, Morrison was ushering the ball back to McGovern, when Hays dived in two footed and from behind on Morrison, he went through Morrison and made contact with McGovern leaving both County players needing treatment. After that Adam Rooney was lucky to stay on the park too, himself and Gary Miller both tumbled over after a tangle and Rooney clearly kicked Miller ont he chest with the studs of both feet, the entire County support rose and shouted at once, but the referee must have been the only person who didn't see it" Johnny's was a foul and a fair enough yellow, but a sending off? :021: And as for Adam... He kicked Miller on the chest with the studs of both feet?? :P Bitter gypo barstewards Priceless reading :D

Good Old Times
Definetly some times to remember! But sadly some times to regret too :)

Justice Done....
Mark had a lot riding on this verdict, and this has been hanging over him for well over a year now... Remember as well, all this for something he didn't do, as the court have confirmed. All you've ever done is been against us DC, and I have no doubt that you would have been far happier with a guilty verdict regardless of the fact that the lads were innocent. :017:

Kenny Dalglish
That is more or less correct. It's at Grant Street Park from 9:30am - 4pm on Sunday 30th August. Can Charles confirm that Kenny Dalglish will be there?
-
Ross Tokely
Agree, but referring only to that tackle and possibly the entire Falkirk game. Not relegation in general...

Banner-Gate
Much appreciated IHE :thumb04: We are happy to begin this new arrangement at your discretion

daily record
Just a quick statement to say that neither myself or C4L have heard anything from ICT. What has been written in the Daily Record today regarding life bans is not true. We have said we don't wish to comment further, although we will be more than happy to explain ourselves to the club should they wish to pursue it.

BENI Display for Celtic game
Myself and Caley4Life wish to offer an unreserved apology for our actions yesterday. We were a wee bit naive as to how the "Big Jock Knew We Won 3-2" flag would be viewed by other fans and just got caught up in the excitement of the occasion. We're not offering that as an excuse, as we realise we have done wrong. We realise what we did was completely unacceptable, and offer our sincere aplogies and the promise that nothing of the sort will ever happen again. We do not wish to comment further on this matter.

BENI Display for Celtic game
Agree. Section G has received much praise on these boards in the past, but clearly overstepped the mark yesterday, and C4L at least has apologised and said it won't happen again. The fact that you guys are fiercely against it has been noted, and it will not happen again. Its not easy apologising, and its also not always easy to accept an apology. Is anyone on here big enough to do so?

ICT -V- Celtic : matchday thread
It was originally put up infront of the Renualt Motors sign at the back of secxtion G but was later moved to the back of section H due to there being no advertisement boards there. I don't see the reason for it being removed? It wasn't. I was. Which makes it even more frustrating!

That was me, and there were a few fans who stood up and shouted at the steward in support of me, so thanks to them.

BENI Display for Celtic game
That clinches it to be honest. C4L has come on here and said he knows he's done wrong, apologised and said he won't sing the songs again, yet EWS still continues to slate him. You're happy to be vocal on here but not at the stadium. Why? Thats where you're needed. It seems some of you are only interested in whinging about whatever you can find to whinge about. Well to be honest EWS, what more can C4L do? Hes apologised and said it wont happen again. What do you want him to say??

BENI Display for Celtic game
I find it absolutely amazing that JoediMaggio is attempting to take the moral high ground, after coming on an internet forum and publicly threatening to physically attack a bunch of lads, most of whom are still legally children. And whats more he's receiving support from others on here. Get a grip!

BENI Display for Celtic game
Am I the only one thinking we should put an end to the swearing and personal insults and settle this like adults?? I wouldn't know what was being sung by the Section G lads today, as I was thrown out (see my post on other thread for further details ...), but I cant believe some people on here. I had to watch the game through a gate due to the ridiculous stewarding at the game today, and the only noise being generated was from... Section G. As ever. Every bit of atmosphere was coming from Section G, and the people on here who just sat there rustling their sweetie wrappers, and then come on here and complain about Section G not having "real fans", should have a long hard look at themselves. You're happy to complain about the lack of atmosphere, but when a few lads spend a lot of time and money to do something about it, we get abuse, personal insults, and even the threat of physical violence. YOU are the disgrace.

BENI Display for Celtic game
The material for the banner has arrived, we will be adding the words at some point this week. Only three flags have been bought for the match to our knowledge. Bronson's offer to supply his flag for the game should be a great help though. And Bronson if you're reading this C4L tells me he has PM'd you regarding the flag, so check your inbox if you haven't got back to him yet please

Markus
Im disappointed that Markus wasn't able to put his injuries behind him, as I always thought he was a decent player with good potential. However given his injuries I think an amicable parting of ways is the sensible choice. Good luck Markus, Really hope you get your career back on track

BENI Display for Celtic game
After telling them not to bother and that they would embaress themselves. Indeed. You really should read whats been posted. I said it would be embarassing if only a few turned up with flags after publicly announcing a "display". I'm all for big banners like the ones the Red Ultras have for example. Perhaps you should take your own advice. Read whats been posted. We haven't publicly announced there will be a display. We have stated our belief that it would be a good idea to have one, and suggested some possible means of achieving it.

BENI Display for Celtic game
We have been stopped in the past from getting in with poles for the flags, but after checking with the stewards earlier this season, both me and C4L have gotten into matches this season with the poles. I've done it once, and the pole was checked by a steward at the turnstile, who approved it. I then checked with a Steward inside who said that it wasn't a problem. RiG, it does seem that they allow some poles but not others, I agree a tad bizarre But its possible that they've reviewed the rules recently and are now letting folk in. All I know is the poles we have have been approved by the stewards, and both of us have gotten into TCS with one, no problems :018:

BENI Display for Celtic game
Thanks for the support L_G and RiG me & C4L have checked with the stewards at TCS who have assured us that the poles we are planning to use are acceptable under SPL Stadium Rules :thumb04: While I realise this question was directed at C4L, the banner is a joint effort so I feel able to report on it :018: ... The material we're using has been ordered and should arrive in the next couple of days. Me and C4L have set aside next Tuesday to actually make it.

Suggest a replacement
Given the good start to the season, I think Brewster should be given a bit longer - main worry is when things are going badly he doesn't seem to be able to motivate anyone to change the situation. We went a full round of matches without winning last season between a win against Gretna in January, then a win against Gretna in April For the sake of "suggesting a replacement" as the topic says.. Kevin MacDonald as boss with Barry as number 2 :thumb04:

DalneighCaley if your not interested in generating an atmosphere at TCS, thats fine - no one is forcing you. If you want to sit there rustling your sweetie wrappers and be a miserable old fart thats your choice mate. Maybe it wouldn't only be "a few kids" if people like you made an effort. There are far too many people like you around TCS at the moment - happy to complain about the lack of atmosphere but unwilling to even make the tiniest bit of effort to change it. And as if that isn't enough, you come on here and criticise those who are making an effort.
