  1. Thank you Absent Friend for being forward thinking enough to organise this. I enjoyed my evening in the Bon Accord the last time (well up until the Dons equalised at least) :003: I will be coming on CaleyD's minibus, so if it's okay with him, I'm sure we'll take you up on your kind offer. See you there. Cheers And yes we have to beat them sometime and knocking them out of the cup sounds as good a time as any. :001:
  2. Chant of the day from the Dons fans "What's that coming over the hill? Zibi Malkowski, Zibi Malkowski?" :rotflmao:
  3. Do you have a programme missing from your collection? The Supporter's Trust have fallen heir to a large number of old programmes, spanning the divisions and different competitions. And before you ask I don't have any spare Feb 8th 2000 ones. :003: Programmes are for sale with donations to the Supporter's Trust. I have some complete seasons. I am currently in the process of preparing an exel list of stock, so please PM me or leave a message here if there are any you are looking for. I'm sure we could get rid of them in one lot to a programme dealer, but we would like to offer them to our own fans first.
  4. Wednesday 31st 19.45 Double checked with the ICT official site, BBC Scotand and Aberdeen FC site. All agree 31st. Halloween is a perfect time to rid us of the Aberdeen Curse. :001:
  5. Not sure about parking Eliza, but we are always made welcome in the social club which is on site. :021: :021: CaleyD, what time are we leaving on Saturday in order to make the fun day and pre match drinkies? :021: Can I please have 1 seat for the Aberdeen game if you have any space. Thank you.
  6. Thought he looked pretty sharp today. Well done Proc. Good to have you back.
  7. Charlie Christie will be in the Setanta studio tomorrow for this game. (Or should I say the Setanta green wooden box) :015: Well done Charlie

    Fixture Change

Because that might discourage attendances at games. There is an embargo in Scotland on televising live games at that time.

    Fixture Change

We were highly tipped to have that game televised. Not a huge fan of Sunday games (pubs not open early enough) :001: It's good to have the games televised as I think it adds something to the occasion. Hopefully starting tomorrow when we beat Aberdeen for the first time.
  10. I believe that Parkie and Brew have known each other for a long time and do get on very well. Parkie could have been ICT manager, but turned it down, so he's hardly likely to go to Dingwall. He is very much part of ICT and I think that's where he will stay for now.
  11. A very nice lady from Gretna phoned me today to tell me that she had received my application and that she was sending my tickets out today along with a little note with directions to the fun day, which is just beside Fir Park, but you take a slightly different route. :021:
  12. Zander still trains with ICT for part of the week. He is getting regular football and it's no surprise he's doing well, he's a cracking wee player and a really likeable guy into the bargain. Brew said he let him go to 'toughen' up. I'm sure he will return to ICT the better of his time at Elgin.
  13. Pedant :015: :015: :015: I do see where you are coming from, but I don't think many people will analyse it so much and just see the details. :003:

    mr CaleyD

Another year wiser :024: :015: Hope it was a good one. Many happy returns from the G's
  15. :021: When were you last called a boy Gringo, biggest compliment of the day. :015: :015: Sorry just taking this more off topic, maybe we can get back to the postal strike topic. I am waiting for a cheque to arrive, but as I'm going on holiday on Monday I now won't be able to bank it until the middle of next week. This causes me significant inconvenience.
  16. Pre match drinking is usually in the Motherwell supporter's club which is on site, so hopefully it can all be done in one run. If we can leave early enough to join in the funday then all the better. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll take 1 more seat CaleyD as I better take child no. 2 now aswell. :021: We'll be in pink fancy dress and raising money for the wear it pink campaign for breast cancer.
  17. Oh RIG don't take the bait. :001: Sounds like a fun day out. I'll be sending my form away to take advantage of that offer. Good bit of marketing for a game which could have the all time low SPL attendance. This should bring a few more to the game, maybe even some neutral fans at those prices. Well done Gretna.
  18. Prior to the game this ticket could have been changed if Mr A had thought for a minute that there would have been a problem. Never before am I aware of someone being moved for sitting in a seat which is worth less than the original. Random ticket checks seem to be here to stay so Mr A should always make sure he has a ticket for the correct area. :003:
  19. Official answer - Tickets are not transferrable. :024:
  20. Can't they get their current season ticket seats changed permanently? If they are not season ticket holders then they will have be first in the line to get the seats they want for the big games but that's not a major problem nor unreasonable is it? Definitely no problem changing their season tickets permanently, other than the fact that I think some of them may have family section tickets which are cheaper that the rest of the North Stand, so there may be a cost issue. As I have tried to say, the non season ticket holders need to get their tickets as soon as they go on sale to ensure getting the choice of seat. I'm not sure if the club would be happy to reserve some as they have done this before and they weren't taken up. They have to get themselves down to the ticket office to see what they can do. If we can help we will, but I think that this is something that they should be able to arrange for themselves without too much of a problem.
  21. MacBandy - you are absolutely right they can buy tickets for section G - or any section they like where there are available seats. Where we have big crowds the ticket office will sell these vacant seats and the 'singers' will then have to revert to their original seats or the seat they get if they pay at the gate. My only point is that the Aberdeen game will have a big crowd so they should sort something out, even if it's just for this one game as there will not be space if they leave it too late. No objections at all to them being in section G, but they will have to have valid tickets for this area, especially for the bigger games.
  22. As Scotty says this has been discussed for some time now. I have heard a mention of it again recently, but no idea if that makes it any closer. It would certainly be easier to administer this. There is another section with more space available in it, possible D I think it might have been. While we wait for an update in the technology front, I'm sure the ladies in the ticket office will be happy to have a look for you. Please don't leave it until the day before the game as the choice will be limited. Act now if you are going to do anything. You have had plenty warning.
  23. I was only there for about 20 mins and I was sitting in the front row with your other favourite man. Mike Smith. :015: I left just a few minutes after Brew arrived. Had a school run to do.
  24. I just saw the Hearts goal before I had to go. Looked like we were playing okay though
  25. :015: :015: :015: The basic difference is that a woman can hold her hands up and admit a mistake where men are never wrong. :rotflmao:
