I think that Brew is a fan of Morgan, but just can't give him a regular 1st team spot at the moment. Sorry to see him go, but he needs to be playing regularly. As someone else already said, we have too many midfielders and losing Morgan is probably the best for all concerned. This might allow us to keep some of the other midfielders who have been reported to be leaving. Grassa said we had to lose 3 or 4 players to bring some more in, so if Caff is heading back down the road and Morgan away, that just leaves another 1 or 2 to go.

I noticed that too CaleyD, although the Courier would have had quite an early deadline, so that might have been before Malky spoke to the BBC. The fact that he conveniently resigned his post at Chester was just a little clue. I do agree that the Club has been made to look very amateur once again. It's exactly the same as Brew's appointment. I'm sure it was suggested on another thread that the possible reason for the delay in updates may have something to do with the web host and not with ICT. Nothing would have been put on site before press conference There has been no press release, hence the lack of story on the official site. If and when there is a press release to this effect, the official site will obviously run with it. BBC have obviously done some investigative journalism to come up with a story, which is obviously very different from an official press release.

That would do for me Johnboy, but he has damaged his shoulder and another knock could be serious. If he does play he is taking a big risk with it. I suppose we'll see on Saturday. :004:

I don't think he can afford to risk his shoulder. If Bayne is fit, I don't think Brew will name himself in the squad. I think he only put himself on the bench on Saturday because we were a little short of strikers with Bayne's suspension.

In the Courier, Brew says that Blackie has a future at ICT, but he must have the discipline required. If all the players went home in the huff when they got subbed, we would be in a bad way. That isn't being a team player. I like Blackie a lot and hope he stays, but it would seem it's up to him. If he behaves and stops huffing and giving silly interviews to the press, then he could be here for the long term. It's no secret that he would like to move onto bigger and better things and he has a great shop window at ICT, so hopefully he'll calm down and do his talking on the park. :003:

I heard a little bit on MFR last night, where Brew said he had been in touch with Malky at Chester and it would seem he's keen to return north. I know he loved it here. If it's Duncan Shearer then I think we all have to bow to IHE's superior tea leaves. :001:

Okay on to next week. Reserves play St Mirren in Inverness and they are sitting 10 points clear at the top of the reserve league. Can we muster up a little extra support and encourage our team to give them a doing, could put us in 2nd place. I know it doesn't really matter, but 10 points is a lot and more importantly they were gloating about it last weekend. I used to make more games, but 2pm kick offs are really difficult for me, but I might just make a special effort on Tuesday. :001:
