I take your points but I think that CB regrets his move and would come back with more experience under his belt and I also don't think he would be so keen to leave. I know that people questioned his loyalty to us but I know that it was a huge decision to go to Utd and I think he realises he should have stayed put. Taking all this into account I don't think he would be a bad appointment. I would hope Parkie would stay though, they could be a good team.

CC has been formally invited to the dinner. He is undoubtedly an ICT legend and I'm sure he will be a worthy recipient of an award at a future Hall of Fame night. The voting for this night has been completed and the award winners selected. Although CC was invited as our current manager, the previous managers have all been invited so his invitation stands. I'm not convinced that he will attend, although I hope he will. As a player through the divisions, a lot of his old playing colleagues will be there and it will be a great night to catch up. Maybe he will take the chance to catch up with his old pals and enjoy the night without any of the pressure he's been feeling.

Thats actually not the stupidest suggestion in here, in fact it is one that may have some merit ! I have always thought Bobby was a decent manager and got thoroughly shafted over the bridge. Okay I can exclusively reveal that Bobby Wilson will be unavailable for the forseeable future as he has just signed a major 'tiling' contract for the chairman of the supporter's trust. :015: No get out clause and we we couldn't afford to buy this contract. :rotflmao:

Donald Park has always said he was happy being assistant as he doesn't like the limelight. Maybe it's his time now to make the move, a good shout, maybe Robbo as his asst. :015: :015: :015: :015:

He is still based in Inverness so I'm sure he would love to return. We have Parkie, so they could be reunited. As I said I wouldn't have a problem with either Robbo or CB returning. I'm sure they now know that the grass isn't always greener and would stay a bit longer.

I don't actually think it needs to be the end of his managment career at ICT, I think if he stays in management he could come back in a few years time with a bit more experience under his belt.

It's been quite openly reported that if he is offered a management position that he will be allowed to leave, although after seeing his performance yesterday against Celtic I think he should reconsider the player/manager role if he is to be offered it. I too hope that Parkie stays with us as I think the players have great respect for him and he is well thought off in the game.

Robbo is manager of Derry City, so not so readily available.

Personally I would take either of them back as they both brought something different to the team. They both have a vast amount of experience in the game and can only have improved as management material with the additional experience they have gained in their absence. Don't think they would be so quick to leave next time either. :004:

A big decision from Charlie, can't have been easy. If it was affecting his personal life and his health then it was the best move for all concerned.

Highland football academy has a complex at charleston which is the most likely venue. Drive a little past the entrance of Charleston Academy and you'll see cars parked in a bus turning area. Park anywhere close by and walk through the woods a bit and there it is. I usually find that following the noise works well.

Can I just applaud this forward thinking responsible employer...... I developed a drink prob in my late teens early 20's. I did not realise I had crossed the line from heavy drinking into alcoholic drinking.. I was in trouble with the police, in my personal life, financial life, and in big trouble at work... It was only when I was confronted with the sack that I admitted to myself the extent of my problem. My bosses gave me one chance to sort myself out and allowed me paid leave to go to rehab... it was there I started to deal with my problem and got myself involved in a fellowship with a 12 step program who have supported me from that day on. I went back to work, and in time I was promoted. I married another member of staff.. and today have a 7year old daughter who has never seen me drunk.. I believe if I hadn't been given that chance, I probably would not be here today.. to tell this story. I guess what I'm trying to say is everyone deserves a second chance.
