  1. I haven't seen a black training kit. But then again I don't really care what colour they were or train in.
  2. Far better to go to the Caley Thistle Social Club and join us for our early kick off against Rangers, if it's the weekend of the 4th August. 12.30 kick off, so plenty time for drinking the rest of the day and night. ICT ticket office 01463 222880, buses run from the social club to the game and back or you could join us in the Innes and walk to the stadium from there.
  3. Ross P, I have to say that I thought that Roy had an excellent game against Elgin. His fitness was really good, he seemed to play all over the park as he can do when required. As for Rory, I suspect he has the talent hidden away there somewhere, but he just needs to mature as a person, he's far too busy worrying about what he looks like and sorting his hair to even notice where the ball is, which is why it seems to come as a surprise to him to find he's standing in front of goal with the ball at his feet. By the time he's sorted his hair and made sure every one is watching, the goalie has collected the ball and taken the kick out. A season on loan might do the trick. :015:
  4. On this occasion the nominees are players only, but we are well aware of the many heros off the park too, without who we wouldn't be where we are today.
  5. There will be a lot of people eliminated due to the numbers, but we hope to visit this every 2 years, so hopefully they'll all get there in the end. A little birdie tells me Mr Shearer may be attending the event though. :023:
  6. That's why you should pop into the Innes for an informal drink and get to know a few faces, then it won't be so scarey.
  7. Don't worry we'll be gentle with you :003:, I think you will probably be in the company of the lovely maimie :003: Why not pop into the Innes before the Rangers game to meet a few of the internutters who will be attending the dinner. Table sales are going well, so we should reach sell out point in the next few days. :021: :021:
  8. Me too :015:
  9. For the Rangers game you will have to buy a ticket and sit in your allocated seat, it already looks like it will be a sell out. Seems a lot of holiday makers want to take in the game while they are in town. If you haven't already got a ticket organised I think you should sort something out sooner rather than later. They are currently selling the uncovered areas so if you want to go there you better get a ticket very soon.
  10. Hello Ruben, you would be very welcome to join us for this game. We have a very good record against Rangers and last season we got 2 wins and a draw, giving us 7 points out of 9. You should contact our ticket office +44 (0)1463222880 and order your tickets by phone using a credit card. They will then hold them at the ticket office until you arrive, you could pick them up on the 1st when it won't be so busy.
  11. Just a wee technicality Scotty - All sorted now I believe.
  12. 1 or 2 issues with the MFR part of things. One being that the guy who is co-ordinating it isn't back in the office until Thursday so you get an out of office reply. Might be worth pondering over the above for a day or two until we have the MFR site sorted out. We have been in touch with them so it shouldn't be long.
  13. We hope to make this a bi-annual event Scotty, so I'm sure Charlie will have his day. The panel who made the short list were asked to choose names of past players (and I know CC falls into this category), but for this first event we decided to stay away from the current regime at the club. Obviously I would expect CC, Tokes, Barry, Grant etc etc etc to be included in future events.
  14. What a scarey thought. :rotflmao:
  15. Of course kilts are very acceptable as formal dress, you will be most welcome in whichever guise you choose. :015:
  16. Tug - Send me a PM with your details and I'll send you out a booking form. You can also download one from the front page of this site. Don't worry about attending on your own, we already have individuals who have booked 1 or 2 tickets. We'll look after you, or we could partner you up with IHE. :015:
  17. This does appear to be catering to the corporates and this is strange when the club are not even willing to include events like this in their mailings to corporate sponsors for fear it will interfere with club events around the same date. If you wish to advise us of your source of info, we can ensure the corporate sponsor you refer to receives all the relevant information. It's not so much the Club not willing to include this event, it' just that it's not a 'Club' event, but a trust event, so the publicity is down to the Trust Board. If you don't want to make this information public you can PM me. Cheers
  18. Someone's been telling porkies then!!! :023: I can assure you that the cost would be substantially more if it was a Football Club event, or even the joint venture you mentioned.
  19. The 'Trust' have worked hard to keep the cost down. The club are not dictating the cost of this event. The event is being run solely by the Trust in partnership with our media sponsors and professional event management team who both have vast experience in this sort of event. The proceeds from this event will go directly to the Trust. What is important about this event is that we are recognising the achievements of the people who have taken the club to where we are now in the SPL. The evening is about celebrating the club's short history and therefore it is hoped that as many fans can attend as possible. Tables for this event are selling fast, so we would urge anyone wanting to attend to contact the Trust ASAP. Mobile number: 07879221569
  20. Spot on Scotty black tie it is. :003: Just PM one of us and we'll send you a booking form. Should be a good night
  21. A bit unfair CaleyD. One of our purposes is to raise money and like it or not these events do exactly that and we could have still sold it out at £60 or £70 or even £80, but we did our best to keep the cost down as much as possible, so that at least some 'ordinary' fans could make it. We have had 2 successful bowling nights and a pampering and tampering with race night in the process of being organised. Other things in the pipeline too. We have to strike a balance, but we're never going to make a fortune with these events. What we have tried to do is make as much of a compromise as possible. As you acknowledge £55 for this event is quite reasonable.
  22. Corporate table sales are going well so far and efforts will be stepped up this week to sell this event out sooner rather than later. We still have quite a lot of work to do to get this show on the road so getting all the tables sold would allow us to move on to other things. We are hoping to have a good show of fans as we see this as a supporter's night, we have already booked 4 supporters tables but would like to make it more. My concern is that you leave it til the last minute and then there won't be any seats available and the event will end up mainly corporate. (Many of these corporate tables are booked by fans and ex players, who have their own businesses) We did our best to keep the individual cost down as much as possible for the fans, but the other side of that coin is that it is really cheap now for the corporate market so very easy to sell. Even if there is only 1 or 2 of you want to go, let us know as soon as possible and we'll allocate a space at a supporter's table for you. Please don't leave it til it's too late.
