CELTIC V ICT - Matchday thread
Really pleased for Michael Fraser. He got a couple of early saves which would have set him up with a bit of confidence. He seems to be doing really well. The goal seemed to come from a scramble in the box. The radio seemed to be more concerned about the fact that his mother had left her ticket at home but some nice fan gave away his ticket to allow her to get in to see her boy in action.

5,000TH SPL GOAL....
Another milestone for Barry Wilson. Not only did he score the first goal in Scottish Football this millenium he also scored the last goal of the old millenium. A milestone which is unlikely ever to be beaten, well at least not for a few years yet. :001:

Internutters Night Out!!!!!!!
Don't think it needs to be highlighted any more than it is already. :015: :015: :015: :015: But those blue sparkly lights are cool. A must for the Christmas games. (and the party of course)

The Courier's coverage
Same agrument applies. North Star (sister paper of the HN) will most probably have dedicated that same space to Ross County's win If the tables were turned we would expect the HN coverage, but it's very unlikely we would feature much in the North Star.

We won 3-1. I only made the 2nd half, quite a good performance overall. McSwegan's goal was a classic.

Ask the Chairman
Sounds good Scotty. Hope it works out and becomes a regular feature of the site. Even if it's just once or twice in a season.

Do you know how bad that sounds? Hi-jack a virgin party. :015: :015: :015: We're not very subtle gate crashers are we. :003:

I thought you were going to say 'Will tonight's game be on' the Rangers game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, so I wondered if it was okay for tonight. I suppose we would have heard by now if there was a problem.

Michael Fraser
Hopefully running out of the tunnel at Parkhead will remind him why he wants to be at an SPL club. I suspect he will be looking at his options for next season, but just maybe this chance has come at the right time for us to hang on to him. Especially wth an enhanced contract offer.

Internutters Night Out!!!!!!!
That's unfortunate. Possibly if we had actually arranged this as a Christmas party we might have picked a Saturday night, but it was Action Man's Virgin party that we hi-jacked. Shame you can't make it.

Internutters Night Out!!!!!!!
Just you and a few old birds as far as I can tell. :015: :015: :015: Other than that I'll be there, Mr & Mrs Pauliebee, Action Man, Heilandee, Johnboy + 1 I think, Gringo Jnr, Cutecaleychick, Yompa, Maimie, Morris and of course the virgin Mary will be there. I'm guessing Caley 100 will join us and hopefull some of the usual Innes crew, Guzz, Uncle Albert, PL, Bart, Doresboy etc etc etc Tried to twist the arms of the Coia Caley Crew to join us but might need a bit more persuasion, anyone with their numbers get texting. Hopefully one or two surprise guests too :017: :017: :017: :017:

Internutters Night Out!!!!!!!
I only told Colin we were having an early Christmas Party, didn't mention anything about virgins. :003: :003: I didn't realise this was still likely as I thought you had cancelled your Virgin night in favour of a night in the Innes, but if you can combine both then why not. I'll leave you to liase with the Virgin and the Innes on this one.

Dons end - ticket sales are slow
Try to get your ticket through the day at the ticket office, otherwise I'm sure there will be pay at the gate also.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE
I'm sure the players understand his reasons, they don't seem to have a problem with it. Anyway we detract from the point of this thread (and I know I started it). Manager of the Month Well done

Internutters Night Out!!!!!!!
They'll have to prepare for the Hearts game the next day, so it's not likely. I could pass on an invitation though.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE
Okay I know this is not the right place for this response but here goes anyway. Charlie has obviously made a conscious decision not to acknowledge the players, the players must know this and I assume they get their praise or critisim later. My theory - Acknowlegment in the heat of the moment could make a very public gesture, either positive or negative. If he acknowleges some but not others then I think that would be a bigger problem. We would then all be reading things into how he responded to each player. We know he is a passionate and potentially heated guy, so I suspect he is much happier to show how he feels about the players performance in the dressing room and not from the dugout. He also keeps his focus on the game, not worrying about how he should respond to the player or if the player isn't happy at being hooked. I know it's unusual, but it seems to work for him. I know the players have a lot of respect for him and Parkie so I don't think it causes any unrest within the team. It's just fans that seem to have a problem with it. We won't change it so best just accept that's the way he works, and for now I'm happy to go along with that if the results keep coming. Sorry - Rant over
