  1. Hopefully the performance tonight will encourage a few more to come along to home games. It's certainly the best home performance in a long time. (the last 20mins against Falkirk were up there)

It's not the match sponsor, but would you believe it's the man of the match sponsor. You can buy a table and the privilegde of nominating man of the match.
  4. Oh Bonzo - Where are you? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??
  5. He must have heard it was your birthday. :015: :015:

Glass half empty as usual Bonzo.
  7. Bonzo, I like Robbo and he did well for us, but he inherited a successful team. He certainly made a contribution, but again Parkie was a big part of that. Don't think we could possibly call him our best ever manager though. That has to be Pele. :021: :021: Or hopefully the best is yet to come and I would love that to be Charlie. As with every old firm game taking any points is a bonus, but we are quite good at it. Over the course of the season we have been doing okay, just a little slump at the moment. Now 3 games in 6 days will be a test. Have to pick up points, but I won't be too disappointed if that doesn't begin tonight. (I'll be delighted if it does though.)
  8. Part timer :015: :015: :015: I have made some enquiries on your behalf.
  9. What is the point of upping the performance to beat or even draw with Rangers, when we can't take points of the teams round about us.
  10. Sandy a very generous gesture indeed. I'm sure that would be well received. Just a small point of order though.. The Club don't actually get involved in the testimonial events. The player appoints himself a testimonial committee who organise events. I had though that Rossco's team had let him down a bit as nothing much has happened, so I'm very glad to see these forthcoming events.

I would love to come as I haven't been to a Pars game yet. Unfortunately it's a bad time of year for a taxi driver to take time off. Next time I promise.

Fair comment Kingsmills. It's a bit of a catch 22 - to do more needs more members, but we need to raise awareness to attract new members. There are 1 or 2 things already in the pipeline for 2007 and the communication with the club has improved beyond recognition. The new club chairman is an avid supporter of the trust which also helps. For your information, a couple of members of the trust board (usually the chair and vice chair) meet with the club monthly, which is followed by a monthly Trust Board Meeting. There is usually a full trust meeting every 6 months, the AGM and then 1 other as a way of updating the members, and allowing members an opportunity to make their points too. These meetings have so far been followed by a very entertaining and informative fans forum. The status of the trust is growing, but can only grow more with more members. So don't sit there thinking if only they did this or that, check out the website and send an e-mail with questions or ideas. It's open to all so get your applications in and then the voice of the trust will be a true representation of a wide range of fans.

The member's club was a closed shop and numbers were dwindling. The share transfer has taken a long time to process as there have been loads of legal hoops to jump through. Seems it just needs ratification by the club now for it to go through. I think and hope that the trust will have a slightly higher profile this year and will continue to grow. At least people can join the trust and be involved, unlike the member's club. So just fill out that form CaleyD and at least you can have an involvement. I think that the voting rights which will be transferred will be a big selling point to potential new members. I believe that the trust voting rights will be the highest percentage of any trust in the SPL!!!
  15. reserve fixtures They take a bit of a winter break, although we have a couple of postponments to catch up on. No word of them yet though.

Okay I'll have a go at this one, but it is by no means gospel. I think that a suspension caused by an accumulation of penalty points takes effect 14 days from the date of the offence. Saturday was the 16th, so I think he will be suspended for the game on the 30th and possibly the 1st depending on the length of his suspension. Should be available for the Rangers game though and obviously the Dunfermline game on Saturday. We had a similar discussion about Blackie and I think this is what we eventually came up with.
  17. Good morning Midge, haven't heard from you in a bit. Hope you are well. No Charlie isn't away yet and I don't expect him to be. Although for the first time I am looking forward to the transfer window as we do need to freshen things up a bit.

I agree the first half was a great game and the ref did well. 2nd half the ref spoilt the game. If he was handing out yellow cards for diving there should have been a few more waved in the Killie direction. :018: I have witnessed a lot of poor refereeing, but the 2nd half yesterday was the most biased performance I have seen in a long time.
  19. Well done everyone and a big thank you to Alan Savage for spending the time answering all of these questions. As I said following the fan's forum, I was very impressed with his vision for the club and look forward to seeing the club progress 'off the park' as well as on it over the next couple of seasons. :025: :025: :025: :025:
  20. It was in the Highland News last week. Good article.
  21. Johnboy If everyone thought like that, there would have been no questions. Better to have a few duplicates than none at all. Must try harder next time. :003:

I have to defend the club a bit here. Most reserve games are played in the afternoons. This was raised by ICT before and they started to have them played in Inverness with a 7pm kick off where possible. On these occasions I suspect that the visiting clubs didn't want to play in the evenings during the winter. I don't know that for sure, but I do know that ICT play reserve games at night where possible.

Hi Dosser, haven't heard from you for a bit. Enjoy the game, but don't expect to leave smiling. :003: Time to change this pattern starting from today.
  24. Well the players turned out last night and you never. Your loss Johnboy. Dargo, Doddsy and Alan Morgan all played with all the teams on a rotational basis. The kids loved running round after them getting autographs and photos taken. Great night, good turnout and also supported by the club who supplied the prizes. 1st prize went to a young lad who will be picking the man of the match today. Thank you to the club for that and the rest of the bowlers got a free ticket for today's game.
