  1. But that's just a normal game for us. :015: :015: Sorry Alex I've taken this off topic.
  2. Now there's a research topic that could keep your pupils amused for a while. :015: :015: Shorthand (still about but very rare)
  3. These **** early kick offs. We'll just have to go to the Innes after the game instead, rather than as well as. :015: we'll need somewhere to celebrate our win. Gringos are in town for this one, and so far there is no snow forecast, so that's a positive start. :015:
  4. You have to feel sorry for them. I mean some of them are only earning 30 or 40k a week. Then they are asked to play another game in the same week. They will have to fly up in their own plane on Saturday, stay in a top hotel and then play again on Sunday. Life must be so hard for these guys. (Now where is that tongue in cheek smiley?) :003: I did read in Sunday's papers that they don't like the early kick off because they have to get up early and have their pre-match chicken and pasta in the morning. You have to feel so sorry for all this hardship. I hope they are absolutely knackered and we hump them, well okay a win will do. :015:
  5. :015: :015: :015: :015: Just need to find a long enough tattie sack and I'll be organised.

  7. Read the posts directly above re: Dargo. :001:
  8. I'm sure Dargo is back in training, so it's possible they might risk him, even 45 minutes would be worth a shot.

  16. Okay - a real tear jerker for you here. My friend died a few years ago aged on 42 from the dreaded big C. She had been ill and fought for a number of years. She had been dealt a fairly tough life, but was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She had two grown up children (one of them with a disability), but she did a wonderful job of bringing them up and made sure that things were in place for their future. She lost a baby by cot death and her way of coping with her illness was that it was now time to be reunited with her baby. She had this song at her funeral and not a dry eye in the house. Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same If I saw you in heaven? I must be strong And carry on, 'Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven. Would you hold my hand If I saw you in heaven? Would you help me stand If I saw you in heaven? I'll find my way Through night and day, 'Cause I know I just can't stay Here in heaven. Time can bring you down, Time can bend your knees. Time can break your heart, Have you begging please, begging please. Beyond the door, There's peace I'm sure, And I know there'll be no more Tears in heaven. Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same If I saw you in heaven? I must be strong And carry on, 'Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven. The other song they played was by Beautiful South - 'need a little time'. Which was very appropriate as she had suffered a lot and as the end got nearer she asked people to stop visiting and phoning as she just needed a little time. :009: :009: :009:
  17. Well this has made the Inverness Courier. :015: :015: :015: :015: On the bit where they have a couple of quotes from this site. The opening post from IHE has been printed in today's paper. :015: :015: Recognition at last
  18. Yes there's a new road now to the airport, but a word of advice - never let a taxi take you the new way as it's at least £1 dearer than the Castle Stuart road.
  19. :015: :015: :015: We'll do our best.
  20. Awaiting the final figures, as there is still money coming in, but it's looking pretty good.
  21. :015: :015: :015: My thoughts exactly Heilandee. :hiding03:
  22. Aaaaaahhhh :003: :003: Well they say 'anything goes' these days. Not sure it would be deemed appropriate for such an event, but then again if it was a long tattie sack I might get away with it. :015: :015:
  23. But the old ones are the best Mee. :004: :015:
  24. That's excellent and quite clean for you. :015: :015:
  25. There speaks a man of experience. :015: :015: We won't have room for a 'consultation' corner this time though. :014:
