  1. Very sad news. I remember Alison week in week out at games when i was younger, always full of passion. Thoughts are with you Iain.
  2. Was in touch with my dad earlier. They've managed to walk 94 miles so far in 48 hours so well on track. Four of them are still on track for an end to end but as Don said Chumba's got a stress fracture so has been helping in support work instead. Apart from that they're doing well.
  3. What time in the hunting lodge? Think i'll be there about 12.
  4. First game of the season for me. There is a car park there mate, but the chances are it'll be chokka block. pub before the game for the OF me thinks
  5. What was the crack at the game last night? Wish i had went now rather than packing my bags :009:. Have to say though with Hibs lossing alot of players and seeing Killie, i fancy Killie to end up above HIbs, they were emense on Thursday. I even went along on Saturday to see them against PNE with a mate whos a season ticket holder, thye controled the whole game with Naismith running the show and would have won if it wasn't for an own goal. Doubt they'll beat us though :002:
  6. Mantis's last sentence there sums it up for me :003:, not the part about rangers i mean :016:.

Am here :007:. Bad thing was when it went to penaltys you knew it was over. Something tells me Rooney might get the treatment Beckham got after 98'. Even though they are out at least they gave it everything and i take back everything i have ever said about Owen Hargreaves... what a player.
  9. Am only bothering to watch for the penalties. Worst game of the tournament so far :sleep01:
  10. According to Fifa that's true :010:
  11. Well England are already exceding expectations. They are ranked 10th in the world and have reached the last 8.
  12. Sorry i didn't quite catch that :017: :016:
  13. What you mean you never notice good refs Clicky :015: :015: :015:
  14. Dutch fans, can't beat it :notworthy01:
  15. Harry Chibber the phrase GIRUY comes to mind :004: :015: :015: :015: The fat bald ginger man will do the job :clapping04:
  16. This can't get any worse. Just lost £15 playing cards and the Argees go and do that :007: :008:
  17. SGE should in 2002 he just doesn't have the passion. I'm not sure SM has either. You simply can't have Gerrard and Lampard in the same midfield without a holding player, Carrick. They both want to play the AMC role and both find it arkward to hold. It was clear yesterday that Lennon shouldn't be on the bench and although this really hurts me to say it Micheal Owen isn't at his best :019:. We would miss Beckhams set pieces but i really think that to pick the best team you don't have to pick the best players and i'd have Lennon over him any day. Peter Crouch showed that he keeps plugging away yesterday and he should stay has he would give Rooney that other option. John Terry is one of the best CD in the world just now and yesterday showed that with 3 saving tackles. If i was pushed my starting 11 would be: ---------------Robinson--------------- ---------Carragher-Terry-Rio-------- -----------------Carrick---------------- --Lennon-Gerrard-Lampard-Cole- ----------Crouch---Rooney-----------
  18. What she said, although without Kollar i don't think they'll win it.
  19. We are a far better team than Shefield Utd's scraps.
  20. The chibbers done it again. Spot on. With their sort of players you have to play a 4-3-3 chelsea style attack.
