This is just getting worse and worse - none of our old managers should be in the running as there are better candidates who have publicly stated that they are interested! Well, OK there is ONE better candidate who has publicly stated his interest!

I remember the players being really unhappy under Brewster, heard one of them bitching about him with my own ears so I cant see him being the players choice to come back!

Im not berating Brewster for the way he left us, he was a cr@p manager and I was delighted to see the back of him! But he DID behave really shoddily towards us, tried to nick our players when he could and generally showed quite clearly that he didn't give a flying feck about us. I would much rather wait and see who's on the clubs shortlist than dredge up names from the past or come out with ridiculous suggestions like Ian McCall FFS! No, No No, only marginally above Brew at the bottom of the wanted list, NO! What is it with folk wanting to go back the way instead of forwards? Our old managers fecked off to other clubs showing NO loyalty at all, and we have watched them sink into the mire pretty much as soon as they left. Feck them, NO!!!!! NO!!!!

I dont think you're in a position to call my loyalty into question tbh, and if I wasnt so much of a fan then I wouldnt feel so strongly about NOT having him back! Bugger waiting 85 minutes for any subs to come on, or a game plan of hoofing the ball up the pitch to the manager who then misses an open goal. Been there done that, time to move on (without Brew)

Yes it was Zander who gave away a pen within a minute of coming on in his (first?) SPL appearance, oops! Being a devotee of the Reserves, I've seen him play a fair bit and he always impresses me, if he loses the ball, he goes after it, when he's got the ball he's always looking to see who's in a good position, or he'll have a go himself. You hardly ever see him lose the rag but he's not scared of anyone. He's a naturally talented footballer with the odd cheeky wee trick to take your breath away. I think he's great :003: Rory has also shone in the Reserves but not as brightly, he seems to give up easily or lose interest, but he CAN play, he needs to work on his motivation and a wee bit of support from his own fans (or at least less harsh criticism) might go a long way. I was chuffed for him when he scored in the recent U-20 WC qualifiers, it would be great if he could also score for us, our lack of other strikers has given him a good chance which unfortunately, he hasn't taken :010: Just about all our strikers have had shaky starts and gone through dry spells, don't ever remember any of them taking so much abuse! :symbol_question:
