  1. ..........and your point is ? Who cares what Brewster thinks - it was pure entertainment - a bit of originality - something that helped detract from a dull game and atrocious conditions. Any Videos??? Aye ok , whatever turns you on ...maybe the boot wrapped round your head protest would be more apt for you! Make your points on the subject of the thread. Do not turn it into a personal arguement and do not make threats or you will be banned. There certainly was no threat made only a friendly suggestion that the user Fanofffooty would much prefer using vocally the "old Howden End " favourite as a way of venting frustration. So I think any THREATS of banning are very much out of order.
  2. ...yes it was original - original for the ICT support... and maybe Scottish football.

  5. ....and a large section of the crowd proceeded to remove their shoes and wave them in the air. Class.
  6. Rooney is the only striker we have that ever looks like scoring and sits on the bench all the time. Where's the logic???
  7. ...........for anyone at the game today you would have most probably noticed the shoe protest....... priceless. If anyone has caught it on video they should look at sending it into Soccer AM explaining what it is all about - give our plight massive exposure. Pure genius!!
  8. ........................Bring back Alan Savage.
  9. The only people you may encounter who can be deemed to be criminal is our fecking board and management!!!! Good luck in the next round !!!
  10. "whatever Brewster does player wise he cant't win" thats exactly why we are bottom of the league because whatever he does player wise he still does not win!!!!
  11. There's Berties in the Railway Station, or if you turn right on to Academy Street when you leave the station there is the Exchange, or carry further on down the road there is Deanos Sports bar - a regular haunt of visiting football support. Witherspoons the last time I was in was like the village of the damned - full of junkies - maybe I just caught it on a bad day.
  12. Quite worrying. Obviously it is difficult to pinpoint a definitive reason for this as there could be many variables at play here ie the current economic climate, high ticket prices and the fans discontent. However I do not think you can rule out the fans discontent as a major factor.
  13. Sections within the North Stand were sparse indeed. I moved twice due to the number of Rangers fans around me - in games gone by moving would have being impossible
  14. Hibs cant remember the season 92/93 maybe?
  15. How is the Youth Programme funded - I always thought that it was predominantly self-sufficient as monies were raised through sponsorship and fundraising. I would assume the club have a budget for the Youth setup but I don't know how generous it would be.
  16. Does anyone know how many season tickets we've sold this season, and if so how it compares to the last two seasons? I think I am about to join the Conspiracy theorists. As we all know Mr Sutherland is a very astute businessman whose specialist subject is accountancy. I don't doubt for one moment that Mr Sutherland at the beginning of each season does his own Breakeven Analysis assessing the number of season tickets, gate tickets, advertising board, corporate tickets etc we have to sell in order to breakeven. Now I can only make an assertion here but I think we are suffering from the law of diminishing returns were the club are applying the same amount of effort in terms as resources as in previous seasons but for less in return. I feel that Mr Sutherland may have carried out a brutal financial assesment on the club and concluded we are never going to be anything more than a 1st Division Club. Accountants like to play it safe and stay within their comfort zone, and maybe the financial demands of the SPL is making him feel rather uncomfortable. So rather than look for ways in which to increase revenues and expand the business (club), which invariably will carry risks (speculate to accumulate), he plays it safe by taking us down to a level were he thinks we can comfortably operate financially. I hope I am so way of the mark.
  17. Todays attendance was 7056 compared with an attendance of 7753 for the same fixture last season in January. Now that is nearly a 10% decrease. Now if you take the lowest price ticket this equates to a loss of ?7318.50 in ticket revenue. If you take the highest price ticket this equates to a loss of ?16379.50 in ticket revenue. However if we take the ave ticket price this would equal a loss in ticket revenue of ?11849. Surely the board must sit up now and listen, surely there is no company out there at the moment that could sustain losses such as these. I also feel today there were more Rangers supporters than usual in our end.
  18. ........did they crack the bad news joke about Brewster extending his contract? Wonder how he took it!
  19. ...........we're bottom of the league. Hamilton are drawing with Aberdeen, and Falkirk are a goal to the good against Killie.
  20. .....does Orion not have a turnover in excess of ?250,000,000 , twice that of Tullochs. Twice the turnover, twice the commitment, twice the power, twice the AMBITION !!!!!!!!!
  21. I suppose the Evidence Gathering Team will be in attendance now at the TCS!!
  22. All dictatorships come to an end and surely his little friend is soon to go into freefall !!
  23. Not quite true Steve. He still has an investment that amounts to a 12% stake in the club. Alex I can assure you it is not an interest Thats rather disappointing .......because I think Savage just might have what it takes to take the club to another level (if not hindered by other parties) . He I think unlike the present board has AMBITION. I can assure you unlike other reports he is not interested in a power struggle Now what if it WASN'T a power struggle. What if all the present main players and major shareholder relinquished their interest and Mr Savage was given a free reign , bring in his own men etc. Now surely that would be an option.
