  1. I'm not I spoke to him today he is 100% staying and he has just signed a new deal to stay until end of 2011/2012 season. Oooh JUST signed a new deal - sounds ominous to me. Sounds like County are ensuring that they get a suitable compensation package if (when) DA goes. You'll be alright you'll be in safe hands with Brewster. exactly, adams may be trying to cool the speculation and seriously whenever a manager is linked with a job how often do you hear them come out and say they are going to take it, no. They will deny it until the contarct talks are over before they take the job. Personally, I think he would grab the opportunity, as he is already respected at the club, he will recieve more money, it is a better standard of football at motherwell and most importantly he will get out of the dump that is dingwall :P. Good luck with Brewster! :P Anyway this isnt about County its about us. About us mounting a serious title challenge - who cares about County as long as we are taking 3pts from them on Saturday they are insignificant. Those in charge by doing the right thing and those on the pitch by giving 100% are the ones that will shape our destiny. January is the month where we can claw back lost ground - I BELIEVE all involved at ICTFC will do the right thing for the club and we'll go from strength to strength.

  3. Not at all. If you compare the teams and the amount of money your team has spent then it is just difficult to fathom why Dundee are so average. In all the games we have played against Dundee we should have had 6pts and a piece of silverware. If we had the money you lot have we'd have the league sown up by now. However what this tells us is that despite being a club in crisis we still have an opportunity to win the league especially when the main contender is so average. Who knows we may attract a new investor in the new year and blow the opposition away - BELIEVE.
  4. Yeah, but that ain't gonna happen. Still believe if we lose the 6 or 8 players and don't bring in anyone from the SPL? Nope, me neither. Surely if we are in such a position where we have to offload that many players the board and our major shareholder must realise that they have taken the club as far as they can and it is time to allow for fresh progressive investment. I BELIEVE, that we will get the investment we require and will win the league. Cmon the Caley Jaggies.
  5. We currently have a squad of 26 (i think) - we can afford to lose 4 or 5 (including Imrie and Barrowman). However I don't think we can afford to lose any of our current starting line up. If we can keep the core of our team and add a few SPL loanees to the squad we have every chance of winning the league. Maybe and just maybe those that have taken us to where we are now , will dig deep and provide us with a much needed cash injection. Or even step aside and allow for a new progessive investor to take the club back to the land of milk and honey!!!! Anyway looking forward to taking 12points from the next 4 games!
  6. Who are we losing - Barrowman and Imrie - no great loss. Yes we are skint and the current board have run their course but who's to say there is not investors waiting in the wings to save our club!! Believe!
  7. Whats there not to be positive about? Every unbeaten run must come to an end, every run without a win must also come to an end, therefore every "must win game" losing streak must also come to an end. Come Saturday 1645 we will be a team on the ascendency. BELIEVE.
  8. County will beat caley, I would get rid of half the squad and bring in good 1st division players, not failures in England or abroad. I would personally get rid of your negativity. County will not beat us and the players are not failures. If i was you I would take this negative post and post it on the County forum where it would become a positive post. And while you are there buy yourself a county half season ticket!
  9. We will definitely beat County - our season depends on it! The players have now played long enough in the SFL and they now know what is required of them. I believe they are now ready to step up to the mark and take the SFL by storm. I don't think we have fully clicked yet but we are not far off and the County game will be the catalyst. Cometh the hour, Cometh the Caley Jags.
  10. Mr Butcher and Mr Malpas for what it is worth I BELIEVE we can still win the league with the current squad (maybe we could do with a few loan signings though). Dundee IMO are not any better than us and infact overall I think we deserved to have taken a lot more from the games we played against them. Dundee have an interesting month coming up: Sun Jan 17 Dunfermline Athletic H Sat Jan 23 Queen of the South A Sat Jan 30 Ross County H All these teams are capable of taking points of Dundee and I am certain they will. After we beat County on Saturday I am positive we will get a full nine points from the next 3 games. Sat Jan 2 Ross County H Sat Jan 16 Morton A Sat Jan 23 Airdrie United A Sat Jan 30 Partick Thistle H I predict that come the end of January we will be 6 points behind Dundee and building up momentum to mount a serious challenge. When we are at our best we are the best team in this league we just require a little consistency. C'MON THE CALEY (THISTLE)
  11. How whats happening with the contacts tomorrow?
  12. Who told you we are running the team on SPL wages Alex? In every contract there is a clause to reduce terms if a team is relegated so those who had contracts extending into this season would have been caught. The new players, including Foran signed at the begining of this season certainly won't be on Prem contracts. Bennett is not that daft. :P mmmmm I wouldnt be so sure.
  13. I still do not know what Bob Harris has to do with ICTFC. Is IHE on the windup? He could be the next Chairman of ICT. Especially as the Publishing Group are looking for new premises in Sneck. Will David Sutherland still be the major shareholder or is he planning to sell his shares!!??!!!!

  15. Are you shure Alex - has TB ever written a book ? Bob Harris co-wrote Butchers autobiography. Who were the publishers ? And what is Bob Harris doing now ? Orion publishing - got that bit but haven't a clue what he is doing now - please enlighten me. Terry Butcher wrote his own autobiography and it was published by Highdown Press. Bob Harris the whisperer still works for BBC radio as a DJ Bob Harris the footballer plays for QoS Bob Harris the sports writer is one of the UK's best-known and most widely travelled sports writers and broadcasters. In recent years he has become a prolific author, as well as producing high-profile publications for the Football Association, the British Olympic Association and British Athletics Federation, he has co-authored books with Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Viv Richards, Bruce Grobbelaar, Steve Coppell, Graeme Souness, Kevin Keegan, Graham Kelly, Stuart Pearce and three previous books with Sir Bobby Robson. This Bob Harris is not credited with co-writing Butchers book but his work has been published by Orion Publishing. Terry Buthcher with Bob Harris.

  17. What is also encouraging is we have two very promising squads at U13 and U14 level. Indeed the U13's with only a third of the season gone are the most successful U13 squad in the history of ICT youth development.
  18. Are you shure Alex - has TB ever written a book ? Bob Harris co-wrote Butchers autobiography.
  19. ......but Bob Harris is connected with Orion publishing. However what has Bob Harris got to do with all this????
  20. After we got relegated the U19 squad was disbanded for financial reasons. So we do not have u19's squad per se. Obviously we have those that are in the first team sqaud and then we have a u17 squad made up of 15 and 16 year olds.
  21. Looking on the optimistic side of things I personally don't think the team is that far away from been a good team. What we need though is 2or3(maybe 4) battle hardened ex SPL pro's the new and inexperienced can learn from. However until then I think we are going to struggle.
  22. Well one thing is for sure i cant see TB putting Allison out on loan since we have not got another keeper for cover I hear they are thinking about the young under 13 keeper for cover if Allison goes out on loan!!!!!
  23. Using a ZX Spectrum will do that to you... :028: I don't think they are that advance in the land where the hills have eyes - surely you meant a Sinclair ZX81.
  24. A "CALEY" fan. I was a Caley fan back then and still consider myself a Caley fan today so therefore despite the transition from IC to ICT I am and will always be a Caley fan. But if you wish to be pedantic I was a Caley fan from the age of 6 until the merger and post merger(takeover) I continued to be a Caley fan following ICT .
