  1. They won't win ..........................the title belongs to us!
  2. Will people be required to clear the snow from the pitch!!!!
  3. He's not my favourite player by any stretch of the imagination but I believe he has potential.
  4. If you recall an article sometime ago in the Inverness Courier, where David Sutherland admits the Inner Moray Firth and in particular the area formerly known as the dump as the jewel in the crown in the development of Inverness. So does this mean that Tulloch Caledonian Stadium is indeed a temporary home? Also do you recall current chairman George Fraser admitting that it is not beyond the realms of possibility that we move to Queens Park. In my opinion Queens Park is only fit for a 3rd Division team. Was relegation all part of the master plan? As I said before its easier to remove a lowly SFL team from its home than an SPL team. However I do believe Butcher in the name of FOOTBALL will do all he can to get us promoted!!!!!
  5. Not the worst idea I've ever heard... :024: It seems only now that some people are beginning to see through what our "saviour" did when he ousted the "old guard" and became so popular. Let's not forget who brokered the deal - none other than Doug McGil's right hand man - Ken Thomson! (Better to know who your enemies really are). Has the bubble now burst? Will our beloved club survive long term? We should be OK tho, a current director once quoted "Mr Sutherland is doing this for the love of football". I will leave you all to make your own minds up about the reasons and who actually "loves football". .......................forget all that right now - now is the time to Believe. Butcher will LAUGH in the face of adversity and take us back to the SPL. BELIEVE.
  6. ........................we're going to be 3rd after next week!
  7. He played up to U14's then left. Brilliant footballer a real waste.
  8. Sitting next to an old friend from school at last nights game I told him how I thought our season would pan out. I firstly predicted that we would beat Motherwell and then make it to the semi finals. This he seemed to accept. Then I told him that i honestly BELIEVE we would win the league - the response - uncontrollable laughter in my face. WHY? I BELIEVE we're gonna win the league!
  9. I personally don't think it was quite shambolic as most of these posts indicate. Knowing that if I wanted to take one of my children to the game FOC I would have to pick my tickets up from the ticket office so I phoned the ticket office in the morning, paid by card and picked up tickets latter that afternoon. Im sure the advertisements for the first scheduled game made the procedure quite clear. I believe!!
  10. ...........our season has just turned a corner!
  11. Yeah he should be because of his timing. Why did he leave it till then? He must of been thinking about that decision long before it but he decided to do it a couple of games into the season. Surely it would of been better making that decision before the season starts so a new manager can come in and make signings of his own. That would have been better for the club he supposedly loves. Im surprised the centenary club job hasn't got too much for him. I think your criticism is a tad unfair. Charlie has a great affection for the club and gave it his all when manager and still gives 100% with the youth teams. You will find he was reluctant to take the job in the first place and publicly admitted this. Maybe he saw it as too big a step up. Anyway I think oneday he'll make a great manager or DOF.
  12. I don't think throwing an HFL manager into Division one football is a good idea, Pele had four seasons as a third and second division manager before stepping up to the first division. big steps are not always a problem... Look at Owen Coyle moving from St Johnstone to Burnley. Look at the level Owen Coyle has played at though throughout his career.
  13. What sort of position was this person employed? are we talking director, receptionist, tea boy??? do you think they would have any idea of the finances at the club?? What made them decide to divulge such sensitive information to you?? I didnt realise there was much of a difference between the tea boy, receptionist and some of our directors. Infact the former two could probably make a better attempt at running a football club!!!!
  14. I believe for every drop of rain that falls A flower grows I believe that somewhere in the darkest night A candle glows I believe for everyone who goes astray, someone will come To show the way I believe, I believe I believe above a storm the smallest prayer Can still be heard I believe that someone in the great somewhere Hears every word .................................and that someone will take us back up to where I THINK we belong.
  15. Here here - I second that emotion. I was not overly keen on Butchers appointment as you can acertain from previous posts. However I honestly do believe if anyone can get us back to the land of milk and honey it is him. So for me I wish to forget about potential new appointments and continue with the status quo.
  16. I hope it's Butcher :D Maybe Butcher is just been shrewd. Technically if nothing has been agreed/signed then there is no truth at this precise moment in time that he is offski. Maybe he is trying to create an impression than Barrowload is in his plans therefore increasing Barrowballs perceived value. Remember the Niculae saga where some clown from the club went to the press advertising the fact we could not afford him!!! Result - Niculae was sold for far less than the current market value at the time.
  17. McGhee is such a prat!! Hegarty is not far wrong when suggesting that he has lost his marbles. Let Duff stay where he is more or less garaunteed a start. After all it would probably more beneficial to all parties if he stayed put with ICTFC.
  18. The snow seems to be getting heavier - hopefully we have enough bodies to ensure the games go ahead. Have the club enlisted the help of the youth squads. Im sure that due to the weather they have not been getting enough training in - maybe helping clear pitch/stadium could address this?
  19. Me plus 1 and a half....................and a whole load of BELIEF
  20. Blah, Blah, Blah. I am actually serious I dont like to see any club in financial trouble Not even us? I will answer your question by saying, we ain't in financial trouble because i don't believe we are or at least, i don't until papers or media say we are. Happy to answer as i don't take rivalry to the extreme :D :D . Got to be the most absurd quote of the year . Take your head out of the sand and have a look at whats going on at the club ffs  Don't you talk to me like that, just because i don't believe whats written does not mean you can get wild with me, why should i tolerate this? Would you allow me to speak to you like that and get away with it? If you talk to me like that again then i will think about leaving this forum which would be unfair because i would have been driven out of it ok :( :( Mahonio never mind the comments just KEEP BELIEVING BELIEVE
  21. I feel the same! It seems impossible that a proven goal scorer can stop scoring goals. I realise we are talking about him moving up a league (or two at the start), but you feel there must have been times when he could have stuck the ball in the net, for us, as he had done in the past. He has been given a chance but does not perform for us but like you, I am a bit apprehensive that he will return to form once he leaves us. However the time for action on the park is past so maybe it is time to offload. It may kickstart his career and the money side of things maybe less important to him than getting a regular game with goals to his name. He's a proven goalscorer in the second diviision - he has never been prolific in anyother division. If i recall correctly he has only scored 1 goal in the 1st division and thats when he play for I think QofS (correct me if I am wrong) On the flip side of your comment - how can a striker who can not score for Caley but scores regularly for Brechin? Answer - he has found his level.
  22. I'll just be glad when hes gone!! His best bet would be to head off to Brechin and team up with Rory.
  23. Is this the same Director who could not direct traffic and the same director of a local business that is in grave danger of going out of business after 50yrs because of the ineptitude of those in charge. If I have got the wong director, thank f@#k!!!!
