  1. Any idea what Wednesdays word was? I Fear We May Lose Dargo - Caley Thistle Boss Said Christie: "Craig's been spoken to, though not lately. We took both Craig and Mark Brown in together in preseason, albeit briefly, and intimated to them both how much of a part we see them having in the club's future. We intimated the sort of deal we'd be looking at and said we would certainly be talking to them well before the transfer window. These things don't happen overnight, We intimate we want to keep them, give them a rough guide of what enhanced terms we can offer and let them go away and speak to wives, agents, fathers and whatever." This was in Wednesdays P & J (Aberdeen - shire Edition) but can't seem to find it on their site.
  2. That would be fine with me. They would have to pay for that so at least we would be getting some money if you aren't talking pish :003:
  3. I think Olaf has had too much of an impact on you Gaz! :015: Latapy was kept quiet in the CIS game and they still beat us. We are two very evenly matched teams IMO. It all comes down to what happens on the day and who clicks into gear the quickest.
  4. Aye thought so. Another reason not to go for him. £1,000 in the 2nd division? :010:
  5. Shame they can't go any faster but that is the legal maximum they can go under the circumstances is it not? Sending the freight by rail is a lot more expensive. I think that's why Morrisons stopped doing it for a bit until they got funding again. Not sure if they still do it now. Also, there would be increased congestion on the railway which, like the A9, is mainly single track as well.
  6. Maybe I am picking this up wrong but is that meant to imply we can't afford him? Almost all our players are on contracts in excess of £10,000 per year. Was that meant to be £1,000 per week?
  7. The drums are back Alex - I think with the same drums as well - but we need drummers who more than just one beat. Those guys are good for some noise though and brought balloons last time! :001: IMO... We need to lower prices to get more folk there We need to abolish designated seating We need to sell those horn thingys at the ground - they are quite popular aren't they? See a lot of folk with them We need to allow airhorns, bog roll and confetti inside the ground We need to get rid of the Hitler stewards who make you sit down if you stand up to shout encouragement (Same goes for the old people - "Sit down I can't see!", "You're not missing anything mate, Barry Wilson is running over to take a corner", "Well be quiet then", "No! I am trying to get behind the team"). That is what we are up against.

Do you and I ever agree on anything Gary? :006: :015: :016:
  9. Here was me thinking that this was a petition about the Beauly - Denny power line that is meant to be going in...
  10. Makes perfect sense to me. I think you are the one who has forgotten the memory pills Mrs PB - take a gander at who else is playing at Home the Saturday we play St. Mirren :004:

On the left yes he has started there once. He has also been moved there on a couple of ocassions when subs have come on and he has also turned up on the right. On each ocassion he kept drifting back inside to the centre.
  12. D. Riordan :004: Two more words - spot on :011:
  13. I thought the game was next weekend :017: :015:
  14. Off in a huff apparently. He went off in a huff because of me apparently. Not their problem if some posters continue to act like children and stamp their feet and moan. Also, they can't force the older posters to re register. It's up to them.

Clearly :006: He is? So we play him in a completely different role to the one he played in at Ross County which is why we paid 65k for him? Yes I remember them. Bingham played wide left in a front 3 and Robsons was a natrual left winger. Rankin was at his most successful for County in a central midfield pairing. He was allowed to do all the running forward while Cowie did the all the tidying up by sitting in front of the defence. This allowed Rankin to get forward whenever he wanted and this is what enabled him to get the goals. You want to play a midfielder who has found a niche in the middle of the park on the left hand side of the pitch where he will continually drift inside as we have seen all season thus leaving Hastings/Golly exposed and us with no natural balance?
  16. Wonder if he'll go back to Hibees?

Yeah it could be worth a shot but ICT fans need to get this idea that Rankin is a winger out of their heads. Just because he is left footed it doesn't mean he is a winger. He is a central midfielder. That's where he played for County and that's where he was most effective as demonstrated by last seasons performances.

What sounds like a good idea?
  19. Who's more tanned - Rankin or Calderwood?
  20. O'Riordon - who!? :sad02:
  21. Alas I am no longer a student so it won't apply for me but there was a bit of an issue with Dunfermline over something similar and I wondered if anyone knew why this kind of thing happens? :angry04:
  22. What stand do we get? And why are there no student gates when the St. Mirren website clearly says that there are? http://www.saintmirren.net/content/members...prices06-07.php Actually - why are there student prices for home fans but not away fans?
  23. Seems to be a very obvious 'boo boy' and 'happy clapper' split developing here...
  24. What about the fans that bought season tickets that are no longer getting what they paid for?
  25. Indeed I did but the lack of reaction made me wonder if I had imagined it on Saturday.
