  1. Ah ha - the first of many have started - didn't expect three of the bat just like that though.... :D
  2. nope enough said - ditto :D
  3. At Man City you get a plastic card (credit card size - like you get at some car parks/ski-lifts) instead of a paper one and you just scan it like a ski-pass and you get access at the turn-stile. I am not sure if it is used for all games though. Seen the same thing at the Salzburg stadium in Austria but there you put the card into a slot to get automatic entry. Can't see it catching on at TCS though :D
  4.
  5. Absolutely CLASS - good spot RiG - how in earth did you find that one :dunno:
  6. 3 wins (and clean sheets) in a row - well done lads  __________________________________________________________________ _______________ Inverness secured seventh spot in the SPL on the back of the victory to the delight of head coach Charlie Christie. But the Caley boss was simply pleased to end a poor run at Almondvale this season. Christie said: "It was our fourth visit here this season and we hadn't won the previous three. "But, defensively, we were sound and have had three clean-sheets in a row - the first time we've done that since coming into the SPL, which is tremendous. "Livi did not look likely to score and I'm delighted to come away with the win. "We have confirmed seventh spot, which is progress for us, and the top six is something to aim for next year. Every supporter should be delighted at our season." __________________________________________________________________ ______________
  7. Oh and as for the great Motty it was simply just a case of Foot 'n Mouth :D
  8. It appears we have not heard the last of Owen's foot either My foot does not feel right," Owen told the News of the World. "I felt something go after 10 minutes. But it's not the kind of pain I experienced when I needed a second operation. "I will have to go and see the surgeon. Until then I don't know how serious it is. It doesn't feel perfect. "Is it pain? I don't know how to explain it. There is a numbness there. Riveting stuff....
  9. Yip the dream is over but could be good bet for next season
  10. Birmingham and the Baggies go down :(
  11. Mike Bassett would seem the obvious choice now after the recent events :D
  12. Good Luck to Peterhead and wee Stewarty in the Play-offs - here's hoping that we may see Ross County v Peterhead next season 1st/2nd DIV Stranraer v Partick Thistle Morton v Peterhead 2nd/3rd DIV Arbroath v Alloa Stenhousemuir v Berwick Rangers
  13. Having watched him get stretchered off this afternoon I am sure that like Beckham's foot and then Owen's foot the papers and news are going to be full of the Fat Boy's foot. Ah well I bet it is that famous metatorsal thingy again.... :D :D :D :D

  18. What are the odds on Paatelainen as the next Dundee Utd manager? :D :D :D :D
  19. Still a nice 1-0 win though after our recent poor results against Livi away this season
  20. It ain't that bad except for the odd mafia hit - the people are friendly and the food and beer are cheap. There is also the excellent ski slopes and wine regions. Still a bit of a police state though with about a policeman for every 5 citizens and all MPs have immunity against prosecution - so you can see why the EU committee are peeved off :D
  21. eh....................................NO
  22. It is reported that pre-season training will start on June 21st 2006 - that is early for the players
  23. I can get it - I am not in UK though but don't think that should make any difference
  24. I expect Dargo to be in the squad after the first of many call-offs are announced. Looking forward to the Bulgaria v Scotland match - should be interesting in my local
  25. Interesting article wrt using the available money to reward the players by improving existing contracts. Also states that they may have sepcial conditions in new contracts wrt sell-on clauses etc - this is good news and protects the club. CHRISTIE SET TO OFFER CONTRACT REWARDS Inverness head coach Charlie Christie will limit his transfer activity during the summer in order to offer enhanced contracts as a reward for his best players this season. The Caley boss would like to strengthen his squad prior to the start of the next Bank of Scotland Premier League season by recruiting a small number of players who can improve his team. But, instead of blowing his budget on new signings, Christie is set to reward the efforts of players, who have propelled the Highland club into seventh place in the table. Christie said: "One of my thoughts is to perhaps increase the terms offered to the players who have done so well here, rather than spending it on guys who may not be able to perform at this level. "But, if we can sign two or three quality players and keep our current squad, then I am sure we will do really well next season." Christie is also considering a minimum sell-on clause inserted in some contracts, in a bid to ward off interest in his most valuable assets, such as Craig Dargo. The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Dundee United and former Inverness boss Craig Brewster. Christie said: "It is not something we have done to any great degree here in the past with any player. "But it is feasible and would give us a bit of stability because we already know how much our players are worth. "I would love to see Craig Dargo extend his stay with us and this would let him keep his options open, but I honestly don't think anyone here is thinking about moving on." But Christie has told "one or two" of his current squad it is in their best interests to leave during the close season. He added: "I have spoken to one or two other individuals who are under contract here and told them they will probably have to leave to enhance their career, especially as we have the transfer windows now. "If they don't move now, then I am concerned they could be sitting here in September or October a little disillusioned at not playing so much. "So they will think about what I have said and get back to me."
