  1. only 5 subs ... including Liam Polworth !!! Injury situation pretty bad !
  2. Probably trying to get himself into the Vancouver Whitecaps in some capacity ? or if that doesnt work out, maybe Montreal next year ? lots of development within Canadian "Soccer" and MLS at the moment. To be fair, he would have a decent CV for getting a post somewhere in MLS. Regardless of what some may think of him, in Canada he will be seen as an international player with a pretty decent haul of caps, and one of the guys who played his part in winning the Gold Cup for Canada
  3. on Twitter: Jonny Hayes in lineup today for ICT.
  4. just an FYI for the ex-pats coming online .... I have noted over the last few weeks that it was not just the games, but also Open All Mics which was showing with the "UK only" caveat noted next to it. I queried it with the BBC today and the response was basically that yes, as with live match commentary, Open All Mics is now unavailable to listeners outside the UK "for contractual reasons". Personally, I think thats complete bollocks. I do NOT blame the BBC, they are only sticking to whatever the terms of their contract is and if they have had a wee tickle to say that OAM was in breach of the principle if not the actual terms, then they are just protecting their product by restricting it to users in the UK. However, I get the feeling that someone at the SPL is making this call and preventing the BBC from bringing the SPL brand to the rest of the world ... probably the same person who thinks a league of 10 is a good idea. Great idea SPL -- make it impossible for people outside the UK to enjoy your product, all the ex-pats, all those who follow SPL football, all those who may now go and watch the EPL, Serie A, La Liga or other leagues on TV .... leagues that feel secure enough in their brands that they dont restrict viewing (much of) it live far less blocking damn radio commentary. There's an expression on this side of the pond to describe this kind of thinking from an organisation ... its called "BUSH LEAGUE" ! I can move from my computer room right now, switch on the TV and watch matches from any one of about 3 different leagues in Europe. At other points of the week I can watch it from South America or elsewhere. During MLS season I can watch it from other MLS matches (or from Toronto if I cant make it to a game for some reason). What makes the SPL so damn special that it has to block it for everyone outside of the UK ? An option for those ex-pats who cannot get BBC coverage is a VPN connection. I have one and it works perfectly and can give details to anyone of our users who is interested: PM me.

sign a new contract Adam and we will hunt down all the footage and burn it or corrupt the digital files ......
  7. Good luck to him in whatever he tries next ...
  8. As noted - the page refreshes and goes back to the same one. There does not appear to be any confirmation of entry ... However, as I nticed when entering, the page URL and the page title in your browser do seem to say "thanks" so presumably it has gone through.
  9. not that I am eligible (although it doesnt seem to bar overseas entries), but I just entered and it appears to have taken it ok. Although the page remained the same, the URL changed to 'thanks' You might want to elaborate on the exact nature of the error message instead of just saying 'error message'. Its not a site operated by us, but if errors happen we will be happy to pass them along or to make someone at the club aware of this thread.

"He took a fair old whack on the hand from one of their players which caused three different breaks, so you can imagine the kind of pain he?s been in." That must have been some whack !!!!! Here's to a speedy recovery.
  14. In all honesty, its a wonderful dilemma to have. Two quality keepers, either of whom we could have confidence in. I voted Tuffey simply because he has been our "cup keeper" this year but would be equally happy with Esson between the sticks.
  15. Scotty replied to dougal's topic in Caley Thistle
As Alex has said, it has everything to do with our change of service provider in early November and nothing to do with an odious poster who chooses to (try and) hide behind a pseudonym. As much as you might like to think of yourself as a champion of the people, you really are irrelevant in this equation Dougal as the process was already under review prior to your post. Although our reasons for making any changes to the site are quite frankly none of your business, we have chosen to give some explanation just so you do not form another fantasy or conspiracy theory. As for traffic - no noticeable difference so your assumption there is also absolute bollocks.
  16. We allow birthday wishes of long time ICT fans on the ICT forum. site policy. end of story. complaint dismissed. PS - Happy Birthday Johndo.

  18. Celtic edge meaty cup tie to face Inverness. Previous report was depending on your point of view, "Caley Thistle either got the best or worst possible draw for the Quarter Finals of the Scottish Cup." That was the headlines after the inital ties were played, but we now know the fate that awaits Inverness in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup. Some might say it's a fate worse than death, and it possibly is as Neil Lennon and his storm troopers head North to tackle Inverness on Sunday, 13th March. They literally had to battle hard to send Rangers out of the cup. The game ended in a fracas as Lennon and McCoist squared up to each other, but that was not before three Rangers players were red carded by referee Calum Murray, who also issued 13 yellows. The crucial goal was a miss-hit shot from Mark Wilson that bounced upwards into the net, deceiving everybody, but the main talking points were the unruly behaviour of the players, managers and not surprisingly after that, some of the fans as well. The full revised draw for the Active Nation Scottish Cup Quarter Final is as follows: Dundee United v Motherwell (sun 13:15) St Mirren v Aberdeen (sat 12:15) Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Celtic (sun 15:30)) Brechin v St Johnstone (sat 15:00) ***note the odd times of these fixtures***
  19. yup, he did do something .... went off injured 15 minutes after coming on ! Proctor on in his place.
  20. they also said Rooney was unlikely to be at TCS next season ...... as far as I am concerned, both stories, although interlinked, are nothing more than opinion at the moment as a P&J article in the last day or two maintains that Rooney is still weighing his options and that TB will continue to try and persuade him to stay .....
  21. 4-0 .... Adam Rooney
  22. a debut goal ... always nice !!!
  23. Cowdenbeath equalise against County. Penalty for the home side at Ayr: SCORED - Ayr 1-2 St Mirren
  24. According to P&J live commentary we are a one man team 31:33 Inverness CT - Aaron Doran is fouled by Kevin McKinlay resulting in a Free Kick . Inverness CT - Direct freekick taken by Aaron Doran with his Right Foot (Right Wing) . Inverness CT - Aaron Doran crosses the ball (Clearance) . Inverness CT - Aaron Doran takes a Out Of Play Inswinger corner from Right Byline with his Right Foot (Out Of Play) . Inverness CT - Aaron Doran takes a Centre Inswinger corner from Right Byline with his Right Foot (Save) .
  25. not sure ... but they are ahead now !
