Bring Back Campaign
Without wishing to start a debate can you please substantiate that comment, why are you pretty sure? Would it be ICT or Pele who would block it? And did you think Brewster would be back?

Proctor
That's fair comment, Brewster was tactically inept by placing him in the team against Rangers for his first start. Duff was settled but will he be now?

Bring Back Campaign
Fact - he jumped ship to go to Aberdeen - He left to manage the team he supported as a boy, and to increase his income, which of us wouldn't do the same? (our next two managers did likewise) But he left behind a footballing team which played an attractive game as a team and took several scalps from higher league opposition and several of his signings still remain years later. The team he left made the next two managers look so good that they were both snapped up by SPL opposition. Robertson was unfortunate to lose out as Hearts were taken over but Brewster was exposed as inadequate in the managerial department at the Arabs and was soon discarded. Steve Paterson has a lot to prove to many in the Scottish game including some on here and I would certainly love to see him return.

A man finished
Is that the 'neep song? His job isn't over, it's far from it. He has got to regain the dressing room, motivate a demotivated team, retain the best players (not just his "favourites"), attract new players and start getting points. I'd give him another week, then give someone else a chance. A "sporting chance" even. hint! hint!

What transfer budget would that be? You need extra income streams such as cup runs to generate budgets. Abysmall performances lead to smaller crowds but overheads remain the same which means even less money. Keep your personal attacks to yourself please and try to be objective. Pele was and is the best tactician and man manager this club is likely to ever see. With the support and belief of everyone at Inverness he could "up the ante" as far as this club is concerned. I'd love to see his style of free flowing attractive football at TCS again, can you remember when you went to TCS to see the beautiful game and win lose or draw you felt you'd been entertained? I can but the memory is fading.

As a player Ritchie is past it and as an accountant he'll probably be out of reach in the wages dept..

Plenty of candidates on here.

That's out of order! Addicts don't need shrinks, they need the support of everyone around them at all times until they can control their addiction. Steve is already confronting his demons face to face and I for one commend him. Good luck Steve, Haste Ye Back!

Thats an interesting idea/combination. So instead of one former manager, we'd have two? I don't think that would be progressive at all, I would rather a new management team altogether. As I said, sometimes you need to go backwards in order to get off the path your own and back onto a more progressive/successful one. We could try appointing a whole new team, and if a suitable one could be found, then great. The reason I mention Robbo and CC is because I think our biggest problem with the team right now is a lack of motivation, and the fact we've moved away from the gritty determined team that always went forward and never gave up. A team that could walk off the pitch after any game, win, lose or draw, with it's head held high. We need to re-establish that pride in the team, and nobody knows more about being part of that then Charlie. If anyone can find what is needed to bring it back, then I think he can. Robbo, very highly thought of in footballing circles, lots of friends all over the place (look at the way he set up Liverpool for Barry's Testimonial). He has contacts to bring in young talent, he is respected enough to be able to attract more experienced players to the club. And most of all, he doesn't have the "this is our lot, let's make the best of it attitude". He will drive the team to be the best it can be, and as we saw with the whole promotion thing, he'll stand up to the guys upstairs when need be. Re-appointing these guys might be a backward move in terms of time, but it would be a forward move in terms of getting the team back to where it should be, back to an ethos that works for us as ICT and not trying to replicate what clubs do elsewhere. Fair do's, Robbo might be able to get Park back too and I think a rejuvenated Steve Patterson would bring more to the management team (D of F anyone?) and I'm sure he'd be able to attract a few gems from the lower divisions too.

Decisive season.
Is Brewster still registred as a player?

What Brewster has to say
How about Robbie Williamson then?

What Brewster has to say
newsbot story P&J 27/10/08 Quote Craig Brewster "Players must show stronger mentality" "We have lost the last two games at the start of the second half and I made sure it didn't happen on Saturday." Is it relevant when we lost the games? Or that we did lose the games? Mr Brewster seems to have been taking lessons in Whataboutery. There's no I in TEAM Mr Brewster, if the team fails we all fail and that includes you. Start taking ownership for the performances and maybe then we can see some entertaining football with points for ICT.

In the words of the Clash.....
We'll be having lots of sleepless nights worrying about relegation.

Brewster
Well actually he was correct, but..........

It takes a man to admit you're mistakes, good luck.

Decisive season.
Your right Roscoe but what will make all the difference at the end March will be if ICTFC can collect at least 15 away points. We've got 4 points at home from 5 games and 6 from 5 games away. I too would like to see us picking points up at home, preferably starting today.

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Not everyone will buy a programme... Why doesn't the matchday announcer just tannoy the details of the event - surely more cost effective than printing leaflets. And/Or print details on the backs of matchday tickets for the next few home games and send a mailshot to season ticket holders, sponsors and advertisers.

Markus
Totally agree. Seems to me a pair may not be enough to share amongst them.

Markus
Good luck Marcus. Wonder if he'll turn up at another club in the SPL any time soon?

Contract talks
Brew said in one of the papers that those who had been given a one year contract still had a lot to prove so don't expect contract talks to start this year.
