What evidence of spending levels have you seen? If they wanted us back in the SPL we'd have seen a serious effort on their part to retain our better players rather than forking out on new, as yet unproved potential from different leagues. Really? Were their contracts renewed when they were failing last year? If so, why and by whom? If not it should only have been a few months severance pay. Yes, they are proving to be very costly with inept tactics and ill advised signings. Hefty wages? As much as we were paying in the SPL? Do you have any evidence? Like a submarine. No I don't believe they wanted to go down but by spending so much unwisely it was inevitable. We are now going to endure a few seasons rebuilding what we already had and that cracks me up.

I agree with what your saying there big yin, but whos fault is it they are here? It's just the level we're at. This is the type of player a club like ours gets. Being at the level we're at I'd expect to be challenging at the top of the league considering we are in fact one of the bigger teams. Do we not actually receive the parachute payment from the SPL to help us to cope with the step down with higher playing budget? Where is it? Type of player a club like ours gets? We didn't have any passengers last time we were in the First division. We were beating the Scottish champions in our first season in the first, playing attractive football and with a smaller budget. It cracks me up how easily some folk on here accept the crap we are getting now.

Was it not the players last season? I see no difference between this season and last season other than the quality of opposition being lower. Our team has been dismantled in order to rebuild. Our last venture in the First followed a few years building a team up and progress through the SFL, we can not and will not emulate that in one season with a new team. The back bone of the club has gone and TB will select his own team. Butcher can talk the talk, but has yet to walk the walk.

You must agree theirs looks better though.

Hey you have all got your opinions on Butch and in my opinion he won't take us further into the abyss believe me and i have confidence that he'll turn it around especially if he has to take training on a Sunday something he and the players won't want to be doing again meaning they will up their games to make sure they have future Sundays off from training and i agree with him that they should come in at weekends to train as it will give them a kick up the rear end. Butcher is an utter waste of space. ive given him time and he hasnt produced the goods. We were in a better shape when we had Brewster incharge. He cant seem to train or motivate players in any fashion, plays the wrong tactics for the getgo. i didnt want him to begin with, would have rather had Robbo. But i bet come the end of the season i WONT be the one eating humble pie Och away you go , Butcher can only work with what he's got, people seem to forget the team we have now is not the team we had in May 2009 We've had injurys & suspensions , its still early days yet people think we're doomed already !
