Yes they will, they will prob drop more than enough points for us to win the league but then we would need to win nearly every game to do so and it's that part that is never going to happen. We will drop more points throughout the season and wont be close to to Dundee come the end I think. If i were Butcher, i would put this post up in the dressing room somewhere and let them see it, especially the bit in bold as it would be motivation for them. Come on, what is it with the negativity at this club nowadays, even i am confident we CAN WIN THE LEAGUE, now call it madness or whatever you like but i like to be positive. If I was in Butcher's shoes... yes I would And not forgetting perks like a company car, etc... I've been as critical of TB as anyone else on here since we got relegated, but I certainly don't see him as a quitter. You're missing the point.. he only seems to be interested in ICT if he can get us back in the spl this season. If he has already failed to get promotion then he isn't quitting he has just been unsuccessful. If he turned to the fans after the Dundee game to say I have failed to get promotion this season but plan to build for next (i.e. confirming he is likely to stick around) I think most would accept that but if not he'd be as well leaving asap so we can move on. "He's not a quitter, he's a loser." If he walks he is quitting, Rome wasn't built in a day. Know what I mean, Harry?

I think he has still got a season and a half in him at div 2 level. In that time at Peterhead I'm sure he'll make his mark and probably end up in the coaching staff. Well done Barry and good luck. Haste ye back!

In my opinion Butcher is no more than a tradesman in much the same way as many of our players are. They're not going to set the heather alight but will do a decent job on their day. Unfortunately for Butcher, when it comes to management when you do a poor job everyone notices and when you do a good job no-one notices. The jury's still out.

Even though he is more than capable of playing in this division? Absolutely, he could make a massive difference to a club like Elgin, not so in the First Division.

I voted yes but realistically Barry should be looking at the likes of Elgin. He still has something to offer on the field but his experience could possibly be better used in the dugout. I would dearly love to see him pull on an ICT top again but doubt it will happen.

If the man who reportedly recruited Marius been part of the decision to "let him go", I doubt that this fees mess would have happened. It did happen so I blame the man who carried the DVD into TCS. :D
