Good point Bonzo. I just checked this when those three scored their first top flight league goal. WYNESS 21 DARGO 22 and BAYNE 25. They all played SPL football in their teens and never scored. McAllister has scored and is still 19.

Just noticed that Vigurs played two full games in the second and third game in the La Manga tournament that Scotland won. Good for the boy and a boost for the under 19's.

No goals in the last two reserve games is hardly putting pressure on the men in possession up front. I thought it was the midfield CC was cracking up about last week.

Rory is still only 19. I think I am right in saying he has been top scorer for the reserves for the last three seasons. He got picked for his country at his age group last season. CC has only started him once in the first team. He scored when he started in Brewster's last game. He may or may not take his chance this time. If he does great if he does not he needs to go on loan somewhere and play first team football. There is a big gulf between the reserves and the first team.

Talking of that game in the eighties has any manager been sacked more times than Alex Smith? I think Stirling Albion was the last one he left of his own accord and yet doubtless there will be folk punting for the Hun Job to "steady the ship."

How can McGregor have got the MOTM when he was at fault for John's goal? He was standing on his six yarder. If he was on his line he would have tipped it over the bar. I suppose he plays for Rangers and he is Scottish.

Another one would be Kyle MacAuley who is on loan at Peterhead from Aberdeen. He is Pele's nephew and his face does not fit at Pittodrie probably because who his uncle is! He has scored three goals in five games for Peterhead.

You could say Robertson and Brewster got their "dream jobs" on the back of Pele's signings. Of the 14 players used on Saturday 9 were signed at one time by Pele who left the club in 2002. Pele never gets the credit he deserves from the press and he certainly deserves another decent job.

Pele left to go to Aberdeen when the club were top of the league. If you look at the team now he signed most of them and he has been gone nearly four years. Pretty good signings I would say. I think he would have continued to progress the club.
