  1. Magic from Magics! Cross from the supposedly-couldn't-care-less Ian Black!
  2. Are you god then? (I'm betting he's Thor)
  3. I wonder if ralphmilne could enlighten us whether Brew thought the sacking was inevitable or right? Who does he think is largely responsible for being at the bottom: himself, the players or financial constraints?
  4. Hey, that was excellent! Think they might be ex-members of the Wedding Present.
  5. i was in before chirstmas and iam sure the train was still there It was. Johnstone's, just through the door from the trains, was where I bought my first short with button down collars and my first square ended crimplene tie. :thumb04: And my proudest possession - a shirt with shiny strands through it which reflected light at these new fangled things in town called discotheques and at Young and Old Dances in the Kingsmills Scout Hall and the Lochardil Hall. ...and this was in 2002, you say...
  6. I fancy Aston Villa to go down. I know they're not actually in the SPL but there's a long way to go with plenty of twists and turns. I fancy Man Utd to win the SPL. People might say they don't play in Scotland but you can never right a team with Ronaldo in it off...
  7. Yeah, give your signings a chance but if they don't work out, time for plan B. Quite sure someone that could speak appropriately to the frontmen could have said something about lacking a wee bit experience but having full faith in them once we get over this sticky patch.
  8. Last I saw of him, he'd lost it big time.
  9. Crazy! I'd love to know why he didn't consider playing himself. Well, we can get back to officially hating him now as he's now signed for our official rivals. http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...c=11166&hl=
  10. Lead singer of the Cramps - kind of sounded a bit like a slightly pornographic Hammer Horror movie. Most well known song was probably 'What's Inside A Girl?' ('sugar and spice is just a bluff, you can tell me baby, what is that stuff?')
  11. Steven Smith almost moved to St Johnstone after St Mirren talks collapsed apparently.
  12. Bannerman? He any good at football? Maybe you mean Barrowman? Dynamic? No. Goalscorer? No. Great skill? No. Possibly you meant Dargo??? Anyway, sounds Foran to me!
  13. Completely agree with IHE, Imrie could go far in the left-mid position, whilst Foran is proven as a striker. Bit weird swapping them about.
  14. Can you name your source
  15. Don't think it should be too much of a problem. There's decent keepers the length and breadth of the 1st and 2nd Division. Which surprises me that Hibs have had so many problems.
  16. I do remember Strachan crossing the ball from a free kick to be nodded in by Butcher in a World Cup XI v the World Cup Winners at the end of one of the tournaments. Won the game IIRC.
  17. That's helpful Alex. And yet you're not only reading this thread, you're also commenting upon it. It may be boring to you but I'm replying to a thread not starting it, suggesting condemning sectarianism isn't boring to everyone. Could you also go on to the Betting thread and tell them that's boring too? Happens every time there's a game coming up and most of the posts are much the same.
  18. I was trying to move the debate on from the specifics of what he said to the whole OF thing. That's why I mentioned the OF and not just Celtic. I'd also just been reading the 'innocents' on the P&B Board that are the first to bring it up when it's Rangers or Hearts but bleat about how boring the topic is when it's their team.
  19. wore his Celtic top to court? What an @&%hole! The thing I hate more than anything else about the OF is the continual assertion that these songs they sing aren't offensive. They can't even admit how disgusting some of the fans are. Even if they came out and said it was only a minority and they don't represent the club that would be a start but it's always that they've got an objection against the Pope's policies on Africa they're shouting at, or, they're supporting their oppressed brethren against an invading force. FootBALLS! Most of them couldn't spell IRA, much less have an informed opinion on Anglo-Irish relationships.
  20. Remember the criticism of Black when he pre-contract deal was announced, or Wyness when he first came back with Hearts? Kerr certainly wasn't the boo-boys target when he was at 'Well but these things happen when a player leaves a club.
  21. Being out of the game for so long, he may have learned his lesson.
  22. The question is: can Zadi last against Taouil? We can afford a cup loss, so let's see shall we? -------------------Esson------------------ Tokely------Munro----Magics---Djebi-Zadi -------------Duncan---Black-------------- Morais------------------------------Imrie -------------Rooney----Foran----------- Two wingers, two up front. As I've said, it's only a cup match, let's see how well we can play as an attack-minded team. If Morais still injured, then Gattheusi to assess how well he can play. If he's out, then McBain. Sincerely doubt Kerr is fit enough, so gets on in the second half.
  23. Contribution to ICT? 6/10. Just not done it this season.
  24. So the transfer window has closed. The Daily Record hasn't updated it's page in over an hour and hasn't mentioned Don Cowie on there. The BBC website has mentioned he's gone but hasn't bothered updating the list for the SPL. The ins-and-outs reported by the Record over an hour ago haven't made it to their website. What the f*!? is going on? I thought this was supposed to be up-to-the minute breaking news!
  25. Must admit, I don;t rate Sheridan at all. He'd never have gotten near the Celtic squad if not for a dramatic run of injuries.
