So should they have given the Rose Street Hall a stay of execution to host this meeting, OCG?😱 Could have saved a lot of demolition costs.😩

Never thought we'd be in a position like those meetings ever again Charles tbh

By all accounts Welsh wanted to leave last summer, whilst personal reasons were behind Carson wanting to be in the central belt.

A big week ahead. Dunfermline at home, then Morton away. I think we need at least four points.

Then we have two home games against Airdrie and Ayr, the only teams we’ve beaten at home this season. They are in the pack we are chasing so they are six pointers too.

Our away form is decent, our home form is our achilles heal, and three of those four games are at home….

    Help!

Re Carson I've heard that recently but why have his family been suggesting otherwise on social media?

What the feck is this Doddsmania ? Everybody wanted rid of him. Ferguson has been tasked with sorting out the on field mess created by Dodds and the off field mess created by Gardiner & Co. Save the club financially and improve the Championship position. Mission feckin Impossible. Fraid that he has been hung out to dry and really, really hope that he has not taken - or been duped - on a Gardiner ploy with the promise of short term profit.

Agree re Dunc. Not convinced he was right choice but still behind him.

I don't think folk really think Dodds should have stayed really but are disappointed in the lack of real change since he went. A lot of dissatisfaction re getting rid of Carson and Welsh too

    Nope, gave up today too.

I'm actually thinking a spell in Div 1 may be a good reset for the team - get rid of all the baggage, loanees, mercenaries, hangers-on, etc.

Put out a team made up of our own players - local lads with a passion for the team and for Inverness. And let them grow with the team. Promotion to Championship eventually, in their own time. Might be the only affordable option at the end of the day.

Still hoping we can survive in the Championship though, although on current form I wouldn't fancy our chances against a fired-up Falkirk in the play-offs!

And the Fergie thing - our saviour etc. It's just a myth! He's no better than Dodds.

Noooooo I remember the same thing being said when Foran was manager! A spell in Championship what we need....well that's turned out just great eh. I have no wish for us to play in Div 1

Carragher was played in the centre of the back three and was definitely the one organising things. He moved to the right when Devine came on with Chilokoa-Mullen the one replaced.

Before the game, Ferguson said neither Devine nor Ujdur had been training fully so both are carrying knocks. It will be interesting to see who we start with once they are fully fit.

For me, the mistake was taking McAllister off as his pace was troubling Partick and he was a good foil for Mckay. Maybe he had picked up a knock.

If we don’t have Anderson on Saturday I’d like to see MacGregor get a start.

    Ah my mistake Robert. Tnx

ICT never seem to get benefit of the doubt but, I think taking off McAllister seemed to take most of the ‘buzz’ out of the team.    Fans dread the time for the subs to be made as the team seem to lose focus - also Doran (on as a sub) then subbed for Udger in extra time?  On to shore up defence in case of a last minute losing goal?  Oh dear, tactics seem odd, but heyho what do I know.

Doran was definitely sacrificed to shore up defence.

Yeh 2nd half subs always seem to cause issues. Not sure why it was Carragher that was subbed either as was showing leadership at the back imo

I'm glad we still have Mcgregor around so there's calls for him to play each week now as our saviour since Bray went out on loan.

Mcgregor is a much more proven player than Bray but unfortunately has been plagued by injury. I don't think Dunc fancies him

I've always assumed that that was partly why Big Dunc was brought in - for his knowledge of and contacts in English football.  Possibly easier to get inexpensive or loan players from there than from the Central Belt of Scotland.

Let's face it - he wasn't hired on the basis of his managerial record!

I think he was brought in because the board were starstruck!

None of which is unique to just this regime though, as the club has systematically over the years failed to develop a sustainable model and create alternate revenue streams.

Agree. Big high risk projects whilst forgetting their core business which is football

  10. The problem with Duncball is shooting! Yes our possession is OK but it's just not fast enough going forward. Quite convinced we could employ Harry Kane and we wouldn't get the ball to him.

Hibs adjusted their formation at half time as it was clear we had no punch up front.

Worrying..... Our home form is rank rotten.

I’m not a big fan of loans, yes they can do well when they are here but then they just walk away and we need to reset.

I find it a little worrying we’ve lost two big players and the general influx coming in has been youths from the English set up with no real experience of a relegation fight.

    This ...

One or two loans such as Boyes and in the past Henderson fine, I just think 7 too many.

Carson being forced out is highly disappointing and Wotherspoon has not been replaced.

Yet again it would seem that inferences made by the CEO are having to be corrected by the Chairman.  This time it's the Battery Storage being a one off windfall and not the ongoing income stream we were lead to believe it would be.

What happens when that money (assuming it happens) has been swallowed up by debt and operating costs that are beyond our means?  Do we just keep running up debt in the hope that another windfall arrives from somewhere?

The most recent accounts show a hole in excess of £800k in required annual income.  There's no hope of Premiership football on the horizon, the club are doing nothing to improve the fans experience or relationship with fans, so numbers will likely continue to fall and the pie in the sky ventures are alienating local businesses, damaging the support we get from there.

It's an absolute shitshow and if they think fans can be placated and brought back by filling a few holes in the north car park, then it's just another example of how out of touch with reality they really are.

Get these clowns to **** away from the club.

    Well said!

You originally said motorbike.  Did you mean motorhome?  If so, there's parking for them at Torvean and a bus passes every 20mins or so going into the city centre.

Yes sorry I do mean MHs. My fault.

Is there? Oh well you are probably correct then and not needed
