Very true!   They (press) obviously didn't pick up the feeling during the meeting that nobody had any respect for Gardener..👹  and a few were asking if it were possible for the trust to instigate a vote of no confidence( in Gardener).

I was a wee bit shocked when Ross Thompson turned up as i thought it would have been a great opportunity for the SLO to show face!

Ross did dangle the carrot and stated that things were about to happen and watch this space kind of stuff, He wouldn't elaborate, so wait and see ( but i'm not holding my breath)

Looks like this meeting organised by the supp.trust will be a regular thing, Which will be welcome.

It was Scott Young who turned up. He's the latest recruit to the board

Although the result is not what we wanted, it was a better all round team performance, and if we can sort out being more ruthless in the final third, we could start to pick up some much needed points. And Christie and Robbo managed to get through the game by watching the play, instead of having their heads buried in a folder or tablet!

I really liked thar Charlie was out pitchside whole game encouraging the players! They've not had that in a while!

It seems that Ryan Esson has thrown his hat in the ring for the Manager's job.  I think we could do worse than give him a shot till the end of the season, with an extension if he earns it.

He already knows the players, is one of the most qualified coaches in the country, and has been performing well with the U18s.  He also wouldn't cost us anything on the compensation front and if Kellacher becomes his assistant, then we could also save a wage or two over bringing in a new management pairing.

My only worry is that we ruin  the reputation of another legend? However he might have applied himself?

  4. I think this article tells us loud and clear we are correct re our CEO and how he views us as fans.

I've been saying for ages communication is the main issue here. We are not even on same page here as to communicate you need to listen and it's clear they are not. They view communication is when they deem us worthy of a statement or an email or two no more.

Deeply regretting renewing my ST but even they must have noticed the number of non renewals? Maybe they think due to cost of living crisis but its not in most cases.

I agree with IHE though Mr Gardiner has no intention of leaving anytime soon.

Looking through this evening if Charlie and Robbo get us the low end of Robbos  win rate at this level that would be 14 wins this season.

    That would keep us safe.

That is our priority not some vitriolic attack on every employee of the club.

    The players are good enough.

Let the players now prove it with support from Robbo and Charlie.

Charlie and Robbo are not being considered for the post according to CEO.

I think as fans we are entitled to ask questions of how we got here tbh

Surely we can't afford to lose the Business guru that is a legend in his own bathroom mirror aka Scot Gardiner. It was only this month he was visiting the Highland Council to  share his management & leadership wisdom.

    Key revelations included:

"Integrity is the golden thread in business" ( presumably as is incorporating separate limited companies for high risk ventures)

"Don't work in silos" (unless you're a pig farmer)  & "take a helicopter view" ( we did suspect he was fond of a helicopter back in the day)

"Listen to others & achieve goals together" ( Blazers securing the best seats in the house at a Cup Final via on field effort is a practical example )

Perhaps we won't truly understand what he brought to the party till he be gone .. ( mainly soundbites I suspect 🙄

We’d be in heaven if we thought we could get a 52% win rate again some time soon!!

It helps with context though, as does Moog’s post about Robbo’s issues a couple of years ago.

I also fully endorse STFU’s comments about the club’s lack of a sense of community. There needs to be a strong focus on healing wounds and being the community club we often say we are.

It is time for strong leadership both in terms of the football side but equally important in terms of the community side. But do we have anyone who can deliver that….??

In my mind club need to learn to listen again. Communication is a 2 way conversation. Been lacking for a long time now

I was expecting Robbo to replace Dodds in the summer. It was common knowledge that there were issues between them and Robbo wanted him ousted during last season. I assume the cup reprieve stopped that happening.

I think the next two or three games will dictate what happens. Perhaps Robbo until the end of the season but I’d like to see Warren and / or Tremarco recruited to the coaching team to be a potential longer term appointment.

I can't see them being interested under the current regime tbh. Time will tell though

I've no idea if the Club have someone in mind, but their statement did include an email address for applications.

If you think you could do better than Dodds, the address is footballdept@ictfc.

Let's hope they look at that account more than the slo@ictfc one or we will be without a manager for the rest of the season.

I think it might be rather busy on reading the County's fans chat on twitter....lol

Sadly I think the further we go down the harder it is to come back up. We didn’t get a boost after winning Scottish cup years ago when we were good. What will happen now re attendances  less merchandise sold etc

I think the away lot (I go to most myself normally) will come back? I agree though there are no signs of improvement on the horizon sadly

Roll up, roll up, roll up ....for the great points give away. Something has to give fairly soon and if it is the 'ICT points give away promotion' again the Club has to act. With Ayr losing last night here's hoping that everyone wakes up to day for at least 100 minutes of playing time...and more if needed. We are surely not as bad as the current perception indicates.

    Oh we are sadly
