  1. right ok, so we played crap but managed to get the win just wait until everything clicks into place!! maybe this is the sort of game we needed to spur us on for the rest of the season

Rankin will be a big player for us, I have no doubts. If he had scored yesterday you would all be singing his praises, you'll see a different player once he gets a goal.

Remember these guys are still young especially Zander so Christie is right to bring them in to the squad slowly and keep the wanting more. I'd like to see Rory being given more of an oppertunity though he seems to have everything to his game, heading, pace, skill... he needs to work on his movement and finishing but that will improve with more experience and confidence. I realy think these 2 guys + Soane have a great future and I hope that Christie doesn't make the same mistake that he has done with Black by letting him get carried away with the hype. Also lllllloooooonnnngggg contracts would be recommended!!

  5. Gallagher let in 4 today, I've just seen the goals and although Norwich had a man sent off he was at fault for at least 2 of them. Just the sort of form you'd expect from a keeper called up to our international squad. Not to mention the fact that his team are now sitting 17thin the Championship... Smith has also said that Barry Ferguson is getting straight into the first team if fully fit, so who does he drop form midfield??? Fletcher, Quashie & Hartley have arguably been the key to Scotlands recent sucess I am worried about the next 2 matches
  6. Yeh, don't worry I gave them a slating for it aswell!! The fatal mistake of a football fan but trust me their not part-time supporters That is a poor excuse for a dig at someone & not just because your point is complete rubbish. How can you say he has not improved when he started playing 2nd division opponents and is now one of the better players in an SPL team, of course he's improved

aye your right Sandy, Christie should sell him on at the christmas transfer window :006: give the lad a chance eh!! he was one of the best performers against Killie last week. The whole team is low on confidence at the moment but hopefully after a win at home and a good performance against Rangers and we should be back on track.

:010: :010: :010: :010: That was almost constructive :015: Have to agree with all your points. On another note I hope that CC has got Zander signed up for a long time because he is definetely a star for the future.
  9. Just off the phone with one of my mates at the game.... he missed the goal after leaving early disguted with our overall performance. Great to have the win but it sounded like the team were dreadful, lacking any creativity in the final third Christie has a lot to work to do before Ibrox next week
  10. you know it!! the mrs thinks I'm a loonie
  11. yes yes yes yes yes Rossco you ******* dancer yes!!
  12. this is so poor :017: Come on ICT!! Sounds like CC needs to change something... cos we haven't had a chance the whole second half
  13. no wyness??
  14. agree I think everyone is underestimating how good a side dunfermline are this season, they have bought extremely well but we're lucky that Simmons is likely to be out.
  15. couldn't disagree more... Hastings has been solid for us and you can still see him improving. If you compare him to other left backs round the country, we should be happy to have such a consistent performer. I think his fitness levels are a major factor of his play so hopefully he'll be at the club for years to come.

  18. I've just been watching the warm up for the champions league games tonight and apparently Benefica have an eagle fly round stadium before a match to pass good luck on to their home performances... lets face it we could do with all th help we can get What would be the chanes of us getting an eagle with a thistle in it's tallons to fly round TCS before our home fixtures??? :004:
  19. Hart was one of the major reasons the team finished so strongly towards the end of last season. Most papers gave him motm last week after only playing 45 minutes, he looked very sharp and changed the whole shape of the team. He gave a performance that definately merited a first team place, I just hope that Christie picked up on it!!
  20. Broonie Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Wilson Hart McBain Rankin Dargo Bayne We really have been struggling in the centre of the park of late, so time for some experienced players to come in and show the young boys how it is done. I'd like to see Rankin on the left wing, maybe from lack of options but also because he has a good cross and has showed against St Mirren he can deliver a telling pass. If Wyness gets straight back into the team I will be very surprised and a bit annoyed, after the amount of work Bayne has put in he deserves a vote of confidence from Christie, since he has come back into the team he has looked extremely lively and I can see him bagging a goal or 2 in the near future
  21. I've had to work that out during a half an hour lunch so if someone wants to verify it.... Sandy, Midge55, Bozo?? Some difference in points!!! 42 - 29 = 13!!!
  22. Brewsters Last 25 games 05/06 & 04/05 Home Won Draw Lost Points 2 4 7 10 Away Won Draw Lost Points 4 7 1 19 very interesting!!
