he probably noticed you were following him and was trying to confuse you!! :003:

Clicky I'd prefer that we waited until he has actually signed before announcing it to the press, I thought we would have learnt after all the bother with signing Rankin. Looks like good news, no matter if Black leaves the club for pastures "greener" at least we will now receive a fee that matches our evaluations

Charlie's Comments
Charles I'd love to agree with you but i know plenty of old ba5tards that are just not willing to set foot in ICT, as stubborn as it sounds they'd rather watch clach!!

That's the problem with having a relatively young football club, back in the day it was either follow highland football or pick a team from the media friendly SPL. We've had to start a fanbase from almost scratch, after the merger half the supporters of either Caley or Thistle didn't want to follow ICT and still don't. Everyone else interested in football had picked an SPL team to follow i.e the OF and would come along to watch ICT as their "small club", then we started to get better and when it showed we had potential to go somewhere more and more fans started to come along to show support. Now that we've hit the SPL we have a massive chance to advertise ICT to a whole new generation of fans but instead of making it easy to support the club we're making it harder by not having cheaper ticket prices for consessions and having a poor selection of merchandise in the shop. If the ticket prices were cheaper then more kids could afford to come to more games and even if we did take a hit to our finances we would eventually make more money the next season and the season after that etc. It all just seems very short sited and even with the new strips... we could have been taking pre orders weeks before they were officially released but nothing. I have hardly had a go about this before because we were rushed into the SPL and it was inevitable that it would take time to come up to scratch with the other SPL teams but that's 2 years now rant over

Bazza was one of the only players causing the Hibs defense bother throughout the match!! I would have been surprised if he went off but have to agree I would have liked to see Zander having a run for the last 20 mins but I would have replaced McBain if anyone. Have to admit I was on Duncan's back for a lot of last season as at that point he was playing some very bad football, giving possesion away at stupid points of the game etc. but towards the end of last season (about the time CC took over) him and Ritchie Hart were 2 of the main reasons we had such a strong finish, his passing seemed to improve aswell as his work rate. He might not get as much action as he did last season but has definately got a lot to offer the team.

have to agree there is definetley a massive potential fanbase ICT just need to make sure we don't miss the boat

NEXT 4 LEAGUE GAMES
How many times did we say this last season and ICT always came through in the end??? We're more than capable of taking points out of every game we play in the SPL and we always seem to come out fighting when we're the underdogs.... must be the highland mentality!! [move]BELIEVE[/move]

Ian Black
Is Black not a Hearts supporter?? I hope Hibs are in for him tbh!! If United and Hibs want to start a bidding war then let them, ICT are just going to get more money out of it. I would hate to see Black leave the club so early because he does look like he could be a great player but centre midfield is fortunately the one position we have plenty of cover for. Although it would be a loss ICT will keep churning out young talent especially with Parkie at the club... and from what I've seen from Stuart Soane he could also have a great future ahead of him

midfield
The problem with sitting Black in the hole is that you loose out on the attacking side of him, and tbh he is one of the few players in the team that can play a killer pass. Black is also likely to move out of position a lot of the time which will leave us naked at the back. I also can't see CC sticking Morgan in for his first game this season against Celtic!!

Are Home Crowds Falling ?
It's not the staff I have a problem with, it's the people incharge.. they just seem very short sited

SPL 2ND Tier
have to agree with whats been said already... absolutely no point!! There is a reason there's a heirarchy and by adding an "SPL 2" they are just diminishing the importance of our premier league. If any league structuring is to be done it should be to make the SPL into a 16 team league, now more than ever considering the quality of the 1st division at the moment.. Livi, Dundee, Partick, St J, Clyde, Gretna are all capable of competing in the SPL off the field and if they were in the SPL they would have the money to buy players to compete on the field. The more competition and variety in Scottish football can only be a good thing... more clubs for scottish players to advertise their talent, different managers to play different styles of football. Lets be honest it's worked incredibly down in England..... in the Daily Record today it shows the different values that an SPL team can expect to earn after a successful season in comparison to what is earned down south. Proof is in the pudding!!

Dods
If thats correct Brew's having a laugh.... how he can rate Proctor - an injury prone youngster at the same value as Dods - our captain and experienced centre back is laughable. Yet again he is trying to use the press to unsettle our team.... can he not take a hint [move]GTF BREWSTER!!![/move]

Ritchie Hart
Black and Rankin??? I thought we dropped Duncan to try and be more attacking :017:

North of Scotland Cup
I think because we have such a large squad this season we have enough players to cover 2 teams, it would have also given the guys a chance to prove that they should get a break in the first team. Glad to see Bayne a.k.a [glow=red,2,300]Psycho[/glow] grab a couple of goals should help his confidence
