  1. Name the 1 team you would put money on to win the trophy this season?
  2. yes :024:
  3. fair play, I'm there :022:
  4. put diehard, will always give whatever I can to the club... and a bit more, had a season ticket for our first ever season as ICT, considering a tatoo, if I have a son he will play for ICT, if I won the lottery I'd like to tink the majority would be put into the club, my future family will all have season tickets in Bridge end etc. etc.. need to make it to more games in a season though... maybe move back to sneck :024:
  5. £10 adult ticket?? lost my student card :020: Think there is a good chance i'll be there
  6. hopefully will be there, bit skint at the moment and but might be tempted since clacher owes me a pint :004:
  7. When watching the dvd that mantis gave me about ICT there was one part in the dvd about David Balfe creating a song for ICT (Bring it on home inverness caledonian Thistle) What happened to that song :015: :015: :015: :015: It's pish I'm all for some Runrig though :004:
  8. :021: wish it was that easy... great idea in theory but where are we going to find an anthem that (like last night when I was watching Liverpool v Barca) can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up... I think every team in the world would want that
  9. 1. Definitely, Celtic game took the biscuit for me, quarter finals of the Scottish cup and at times you could hear a mouse squeak 2. I'm already behind the goals in the North Stand so would hope I wouldn't have to... if you build they will come 3. Bridge End without doubt 4. Both, season ticket holders and free seating 5. A group of fans that sing and are in the one area, it really is that simple. If the club make it official then fans will either know to avoid it or sit in it. We could even have an unofficial singing fanzine etc. etc. the possibilities are endless :004:
  10. clacher I have not made any threats nor do I mean to, all I have said is that if you are going to throw round names then I would at least expect you to be man enough to say this to my face. It is very easy to throw insults when you are sitting miles away on the other end of a telephone wire. Try not to dismiss my point of view by calling me a tw@t, idiot, stupid etc.
  11. bet you must have felt well hard typing that from behind your computer screen :012: its not as if im an anonymous poster, been knocking about this site, tcs, innes, supporters club and random away games for years; ive met most of the people who use this page and all (apart from the new chairman) the staff at the club both in and out of their professional roles at ict! if somebody told me that i didnt realise rory mcallister, russel duncan etc were all beyond critism or not there to entertain me because theyre at ict to make history... id laugh in their face. id have to, regardless of who said it :022: tw@t Your anonymous to me, so next time your in the Innes make sure you come and introduce yourself and call me a tw@t to my face, instead of acting the bigman on an internet forum. Like it or not ICT players are making history right now and if they continue to progress with the club 100 years from now they will be read about by the newest generation of fans. You have also completely mis-quoted me, which is nice, I never said our players are above criticism, during a match though if you are sitting on the sidelines heckling players throughout a match what sort of positive effect is that going to have on them? My problem with dead_ball_specialist's previous post is that he contradicts himself, he demands to be entertained and then compairs footballers to factory workers, if they are there to do a job then they have done it by getting the 3 points last week even if they didn't entertain.
  12. :016: Every season I consider a season ticket RIG but is always just too much for the amount of games I can actually attend. Bus Apex is about £17, Train about £30 but usually I get a lift from Dave for £20, which is fair enough! Driving test in a couple of weeks though so that should help :003:
  13. 4 :003:
  14. Out of interest, and for no other reason, how much does it cost to get up from Stirling to Sneck by train/bus or however you get up? £20 travel + £20 food for the weekend + £30 Drinks on the Sat Night, Drinks before the game + £20 ticket = can be more and can be less, depends
  15. :012: :012: Mate I live in Stirling so it is hard to afford to make it to every game but trust me I make it to every match I possibly can. Thus why I am only really mentioning the thoughts of some people on this forum
  16. Yeh, I don't have a go at Christie because I don't think he has really done anything wrong, yes there has been a couple of off decisions but on every occasion you can usually see his reasoning. More importantly I want him to do well, he is a local lad and he has a real love for this club and yet he has got far, far, far more abuse from his own fans than Brewster or Robertson ever did when both of them turned their back on the club at the drop of a hat. Whats more IMO he has got us playing better football and improved our dismal home record from last season but none of these things seem to mean anything because next week when a player has a bad game, misses a tackle or maybe we only manage to come away with a draw, it's all going to be Christie's fault and trust me our own fans will let him know!!
  17. He's done a cracking job so far and looks unfazed by anything that has been thrown at him so far, my worry is when/if he makes a big mistake how he reacts. I hope CC can hook him up to a long contract especially with what's happened with Dod's and Broonie
  18. this is what I don't get... excuse for what?? not playing great football (or up to the standard he has already set for himself and the team in earlier games this season) when we had taken a BIG fall the weekend before but yet still managing to grind out all 3 points. I'm not trying to say that fans can't get frustrated through a game, I will occasionally do the same but only to try and encourage the player. My major gripe is the people on this forum that are constantly having a dig at Christie for anything he does wrong, he can't seem to do anything right. Posters having a dig about the "CC appreciation society"....... as though it is unusual for a fan to get behind the manager of a team :010: :010: I just don't get it TBH we are in one of the best positions we have ever been as a club, we have a manager that wants the best for the club and our fans seem **** bent on getting rid of him, just doesn't make sense. Scotty - fair comments
  19. Just so we all know exactly what has been said by CC
  20. bet you must have felt well hard typing that from behind your computer screen :012:
  21. blame for what??? getting us to the scottish cup quarter finals only to be knocked out by the Champions of the SPL?? getting us to 7th place with a real oppertunity of making top 6?? having a better record against the OF than any other club in Scotland?? all this with having his own fans doubting his ability every step of the way, you need to take a look at yourself because your not fecking real ... and dead_ball_specialist you don't realise that the players aren't there for your entertainment, they are not hired monkeys but players playing for the club and are making history for a team that will be about long after you or me are 6 feet under.
  22. Yes the players work hard, but it's their job! They're extremly well paid to do what they do. Fans are paying £300 a year (and thats a **** of a lot of money to some people) and sacrificing an afternoon a week to come and support them - and Charlie has the cheek to belittle us and call us 'ungrateful', for not applauding him enough. Who does he think he is, Jesus? It's disgusting. Who paid for his house, his flash car, his fancy suits etc? US. He doesn't seem appreciative of this fact at all. I have no sympathy with his argument whatsoever. He should try working a 12 hour shift in a factory, or a rainy afternoon on a building site, or slaving in a kitchen for the minimum wage like the ordinary Invernessians who pay his fatcat wages. Has he ever had a real job in his life? Footballers aren't Gods, they're workers like everybody else and don't have the right to expect us to bow down to them. They provide a service as entertainers and if their product is poor they should be slagged off. If Charlie hired a joiner to do his kitchen and the guy did a sloppy job - don't you think he'd complain? Of course he would. What makes his job so special that he's beyond reproachment of any kind? If anyone is out of touch and in need of a reality check it's Charlie. you just don't get it :006:
  23. You are a complete and utter c0ck! the last time you crawled out your shell after talking pish
  24. CC is absolutely spot on.. there is nothing worse than ungrateful fans and we have plenty. I couldn't make the game yesterday but I think CC will also be referring to the posters on this forum that more than anything haven't got a clue about football and yet seem to think that Christie isn't the man for the job and haven't backed him from the start of his time as manager. It seems on this board all the good work that the team goes un-noticed yet as soon as there is a sniff of a bad result or bad performance the message board is flooded with posters talking absolute pish. Yesterday for example, from what I hear we played very poorly but I don't think anyone understands how much effort physically and mentally went into the game against Celtic last week, it must have been a massive psychological blow to the players and obviously took time to get into the swing of things, yet we managed to pull off an amazing last minute winner just after the team had taken another blow in getting Granty sent off. Think how the players feel when they read this forum and see that instead of the fans being delighted with a cracking result that has kept our dream of top 6 alive, they see people moaning how bad the performance was and how it is not good enough. They must ask themselves "what is the point?" because nothing they seem to do is good enough for all you ungrateful ba5tards, I swear we have the worst support in the league, not because of our low numbers but because of the bunch of idiots that just don't have a clue about football, it's embarrassing some of the pish that is spouted on this forum at times, really is!!!
  25. well done boys, 10 men and after the events of last Sunday, that is an absolute cracking result :025: :025: :025: :025:
