  1. BBC link Didn't know IHE was in Belfast :024:
  2. basically 1 or 2 new players
  3. Agreed, I also said this to a mate during the match You said it yourself on another thread, this was our last chance saloon, we had to win yesterday so can't really have a go at CC for trying to attack Killie. Duncan always plays as a defensive midfielder and Black is at his best when he let free to run around park. Black has absolutely no positional sense at all, so IMO the only way to play Black in the team is if you have a hlding midfielder sweeping up. Rubbish, Sweggers played more like an attacking midfielder for a lot of the match doing most of his work infront of their defenders while Bayne tried to play the line. My only criticism is that they played to far apart as a partnership and didn't really play off each other during the match. SECOND HALF: Because he was doing alright, I would have personally started with McAllister if CC was set on going for 2 upfront but thought Sweggars actually put in a decent shift. Only difference was that McAllister is a younger player and able to run at defenders with the fresher legs. Markus played in the same all game, if anything he was pushed further forward because the team went into all attack towards the end of the game. Duncan sat behind Black all game pulling the strings Subs all did well and even though you were pissing and moaning that Black was subbed you couldn't notice because the replacements did such a good job, Zander and McAllister especially. You could easily sit and pick holes out of any performance but at the end of the day we watched 2 evenly matched teams but Killie got a few more breaks than us, that is all!!
  4. :015: :015: :015:
  5. fck'm they would have no sympathy for us if the shoe was on the other foot!! Get it right up'em ***** scumbags :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  6. I think i'm right :016:
  7. Ian Black was standing in the centre circle at this point with his arms out by his sides trying to figure out why they were singing that - quite a funny sight! :015: Black went in for a header and missed the ball completely but took the player, the player went down injured and the killie fans started chanting Black's name, Black then walked away because he knew he was likely to get carded. While they were chanting his name he started conducting them with his hands, which I thought was quite funny. Could have quite easily seen red for it.
  8. you were ******* given an explanation, do you not think Black would have come out and given a different statement if that was the case.
  9. agree
  10. are you trying to tell me that you didn't think he was on the verge of a red?? He had at least 3 or 4 bad timed challenges, not to mention the jip he was giving the ref... he should perhaps realise that if he doesn't get a yellow card then he will get the full 90 minutes. He's just got to stop being a petulant ****... simple!!! Christie was absolutely right bringing him off and if I was Christie I would give him some time on the bench again, and keep doing it until he learns. If he is going to act like a school kid then he should be treated like one, TBH I don't even see why CC is defending him.
  11. hope so, I got them in my sweep at work Draw... Quarter-final draw AC Milan v Bayern Munich (First leg 3 April, second leg 11 April) PSV Eindhoven v LIVERPOOL (First leg 3 April, second leg 11 April) Roma v MANCHESTER UNITED (First leg 4 April, second leg 10 April) CHELSEA v Valencia (First leg 4 April, second leg 10 April) Semi-final draw Roma or MANCHESTER UNITED v AC Milan or Bayern Munich (First leg 24 April, second leg 2 May) CHELSEA or Valencia v PSV Eindhoven or LIVERPOOL (First leg 25 April, second leg 1 May)
  12. BBC Link The reason Black was subbed... I think Christie is being too fair on him TBH
  13. That were a bit pesh :020: Ah well I suppose you could say that our season is over now but at least CC gave it a good go in the second half. Killie were for the taking today, I don't think I would have any of their players apart from Naismith and Greer, IMO they are one of the worst teams we have played all season. First goal was 'total football' great ball in from Hastings and Paatalinen got up well for the header. Their goal was an absolute joke, long throw, missed clearance at the front post by Caff (I think) and the ball bounced over Fraser to di Giacamo at the back post. Their second was a good finish by di Giacamo... after that I went down to get a pie and heard the killie fans celebrating for their 3rd, at that point I was considering just walking out as the exit was right beside the pie stall. I decided to stick about for the second half and am glad I did, CC must have read the riot act because we looked much more up for it. Black and Duncan were bossing the midfield and Caff looked like a different player. Good header by Dods from a corner for our second, although I think it might have been tapped in at the back post by a killie player. Black started acting like a fanny (once again) and had 3 separate occasions he could have been booked, eventually got booked and was subbed off to the dismay of some our fans. I overheard one fan (unnamed) saying to another "we need a new manager" ......... honest tae feck I don't know how anyone could not have noticed that Black was on the verge of walking, at one point the Killie fans were chanting his name after a bad challenge he made (I thought he was going to be sent off then). McAllister came on for sweggers and looked in excellent shape.... just wasn't to be. Fraser :003: :003: :003: Not his best game, looked uncomfortable when the ball was played near him but pulled off a very good save in the first half. I need to say the replay of their first to see if he was at fault. Tokely :003: :003: Was far from his best, got caught out by trying to play the offside trap on a couple of occasions. Looked off the pace. Dods :003: :003: Was mince, think he missed Munro beside him Caff :003: :003: :003: Had a poor first half but was excellent in the second. Made some great challenges, maybe with some more first team football he can fill the position at the back, needs to learn how to header the ball though Hastings :003: :003: :003: :003: Excellent, great cross for the first goal and couldn't be faulted throughout the 90 Duncan :003: :003: :003: :003: :003: One of the best performances I've seen from him, he was the maestro in the centre, cleaned up everything and used the ball well. Black :003: :003: :003: :003: There is no doubting this boys ability but for feck sake STOP GETTING UNECESSARY YELLOW CARDS. Paatalinen :003: :003: :003: :003: :003: Looks to be a gem of a signing by CC, needs to sharpen up a bit but his distribution of the ball was excellent and a cracking header for our first. Wilson :003: :003: :003: Looked tired McSwegan :003: :003: :003: Had some nice touches and came close with a shot from 20+ yards that sizzled over. Bayne :003: :003: :003: Was quiet all game Subs Zander :003: :003: :003: Caused problems whenever he got the ball, this boy is going to be a cracking player for ICT Hart :003: :003: Couple of good corners McAllister :003: :003: :003: Should have started, cased problems for the Killie defence
  14. Good post :025:
  15. :015: :015:
  16. yeh sorry, all I meant was saturday travel wouldn't be affected
  17. Think it's all sorted now
  18. Glad to hear we have kept a hold of him and hopefully he can make the first team place his own. I would still like to think that CC will look for some players to provide competition in the summer
  19. This is exactly what's wrong with our fans.. For ages we have been asking for one of our players to be recognised at national level and out of the 90 people that have looked at this thread only 2 people have posted and 1 was a sarcastic comment. Fck sake can no one realise thst the boy has some potential
  20. link Made it into the U20 Scotland Squad, although he's received a fair bit of stick I think some people forget that the boy is still only 19. I also think he is not ready for the first team yet he has still got years of development. Well done :025: :025: :025:
  21. Silva is the next big thing, Miguel is tenacious, Canizares is the only player that I could see throwing it away for them
  22. Get your money on Valencia, trust me :004:
  23. After the cruel way they put us out the Scottish Cup I really have absolutely no sympathy for them.. GIRUY Strachan ya plick!
