Hibs Tactics
We're not exactly on a bad run of form either... their keeper looks suspect from crosses so need Barry and Rankin to hit as many ball ontop of him as possible for Bayne and Dodsy to challenge It will be a hard game but with their inconsistent for I have confidence in our chances *Fraser Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Duncan Wilson McBain Rankin Wyness Bayne *Same team but with Fraser in this time.. Duncan needs to work his socks off against their midfield!

Golly -> Fish
He'll do very well there IMO but that means we are short another defensive cover... we really need some replacements this window

New keeper - who do we go for?
remember though he is very young and would probably be happy to sit on the bench... realistically we are going have trouble attracting a decent keeper to sit on the bench

New keeper - who do we go for?
Got in there before me Gerrard is 2nd choice... Jagielka is 3rd choice, anyone else see that game against Arsenal.... t'was quality! :003: I never thought of this but Samson from County is a Scotland U21 and is rated quite highly (although when I saw him play he was gash) and knowing our usual scouting ring I doubt CC will look past an exellent young prospect that is sitting across the bridge ready to be plucked from the shanty town

Black eligible for Hibs game.........
Thank God you were never in charge of Patrick Viera and Roy Keane. Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira both earned respect as players before they started getting sent off, both players showed respect for their manager and the team. Plus Black is no where near that good!! RossP- Black wouldn't have been eligible as a sub if he was suspended

New keeper - who do we go for?
Fraser is quite vocal, if we are getting another keeper it should be as cover. Ikee deserves his chance but I think having a player with experience to challenge him for a place would be beneficial. I think Ludovic Roy could be that player, he has experience in the SPL, he wouldn't demand that much of a transfer fee and I've always been quite impressed with him when ever I have watched.

Strengthen the squad
I'm sure he would have has a good idea that Broonie was leaving an expect he has some players lined up... would be extrelmely disappointed if we didn't get 2 or 3 new players during this transfer window though! Really quite excited of the prospect of Ikee getting some first team football though, he is a confident lad and I think he is a much more well-rounded keeper defenders must be made priority IMO

Stranger things have happened, Marshall has been wanting first team football for years now and with Peter Grant at Norwich he might be swayed to sign permanentley, there are plenty of big teams sniffing about Boruc (he also made it clear when he first joined Celtic that his goal was to play in the Premiership). I think Broonie definitely has the ability but his confidence would be the issue not to mention his lack of leadershp in the box but these things can be worked on. Still not 100% this is true though

I think everyone is forgetting how good a keeper Brown really is.. and at 25 he has at least 10 years of his best football to look forward to. I would like to know the fee ICT have settled on because it must have been fairly substantial to let him go half way through the season. He has been superb for us and who can blaim him for taking a decent pay check, Mike Fraser could turn out to be a much better player than Broonie, I'm just concerned who would back him up. Jon Smith is next inline I think and he looks even smaller than Broonie :010:

Celtic have just sent Marshall on loan to Norwich because he can't get a game so I think this is extremely unlikely

Our most prolific goalscorer on the bench???????
deja vu :029: Are you just going to keep spouting the same rubbish until you actually start to believe it?? Neither criticised the manager, only stated that they required first team football if they were going to stay at the club, while Dargo openly questioned the manager, which shows absolutely no respect. Wyness has been INJURED half the SEASON so can't really count the goals RATIO, and they have only played 4 times together as an upfront PARTNERSHIP and we have picked up 7 POINTS, which has kick started our SEASON! Before hand we couldn't buy a goal and were verging on RELEGATION.

Captaincy
None of the above were given captaincy until they at least reached puberty and showed some loyalty to their club... if he shows he is going to fight for his place in the team then fair enough but right now he shows more intent in getting sent off it... I really would question Chistie's appointment if he made that decision.

Next Scotland boss
Notice the two players remaining on the shortlist both don't have contracts that the FA would have to buy them out of.... coincidence :024: I am very surprised that Moyes and Davies haven't been given more of a mention, Moyes especially, He's served his time at Everton and I'm sure he would be ready for the challenge if he was asked, obviously the SFA don't want to pay a manager out of a contract. We should be hunting for the right man, not taking whatever person is lying about doing nothing at this moment of time.
