Mitre SPL goal of the decade
Just saw a thing about it on the official club website. basically fans vote for their favourite goal scored in the first decade of the SPL and a shortlist of 10 nominations is drawn up. surely rankins goal v rangers has got to be up there?

Who is the most overated SPL player?
yep ?1.8M for 5 goals in 32 games. one of the many poor signings made by paul le guen. libor sionko and karl svensson were also terrible.

Rotherham
Its sad to see a club like Rotherham in financial turmoil. Its a world away from the EPL idiots who call themselves 'fans'. Good luck Rotherham hope you pull through. :021:

Hamilton Accies Moving On Up
I think Hamilton will stay up next season. They have some very talented players and ok they have a young squad but im sure alan hansen will tell you that you CAN win things with kids. Richard Offiong is a very good striker and 17 year old James McCarthy is wanted by some top European sides. Cant see McCarthy staying for much longer but im sure Hamilton will get a decent fee for him.

Message fer Marius

Inverness wins
yesterday was my first game since that diabolical display against rangers on the first day of the season (I live in england so i dont really get the chance). Good preformance from the lads today even if killie were not full strength. we could have had more if wyness put away his chances and tokely almost got one too. a good performance from imrie and wilson especially and a stunning goal from niculae. great celebration as well. did anyone else notice he shook the refs hand when he was subbed at the end? Class.

"No rush to sign players up on new deals"
i completely agree with this point you only have to look at examples like michael kightly to know this is the case brewster is NOT a fool for looking at league 2, he is a fool for looking at shrewsbury v wrexham instead of a team like peterbrough who have aaron mclean a quality player destined for the top

Who is the most overated SPL player?
I can think of a few: for some reason a few people i know in england rate noel hunt he is an awful striker and he has no pace ross mccormack marius niculae :023: and half the old firm

What have we done now?
WARNING: Another boring rant from a neanderthal fan I'm afraid this is yet another example of incompetence from Brew and Malky. Not only have they got themselves in a big heap of sh1t over this whole Chester dispute but they obviously know little about football. Instead of going to watch one of the many talented players in League 2 (there actually are quite a lot) they chose to watch Shrewsbury v Wrexham and Chester City. Wrexham happen to be bottom of League 2 while Chester and Shrewsbury are in the lower reaches of the division and have absolutely no talent whatsoever. And then they are surprised when nobody is SPL standard!!!!!! Unlike many fans on here I actually know that there is talent in the division and even I could have chosen better matches to scout than the 2 buffoons in charge of this club. :020: By the way, before anyone asks me to point out the talent in League 2 here it is (take note Brewster): Keith Andrews(MK Dons) Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough) Sergio Torres(Wycombe) Peter Leven(Chesterfield) Garry Thompson(Morecambe) Pablo Mills(Rotherham) Jason Pucheon and Albert Adomah(Barnet) Lee Frecklington(Lincoln)

What between the lines here IHE?
Quote from Malky Thomson: "I'm sure come the summer, clubs will be wanting some of our players, but that's football and you have to deal with it. Marius, I'm sure, will be no exception because he's done fantastically well here. There's no doubt that myself and (manager) Craig Brewster want to keep him here. When players come to your club and they play well then they'll always be open to offers." Yet more wise words from Malky

Aberdeen Clearout
lets think about this aberdeen failed to make the top 6 this season the top 6 is where we want to be so why are we wasting time even considering buying rejects who are not good enough for aberdeen everyone is saying that lovell is class but i dont consider 19 goals in 69 games for aberdeen to be particularly outstanding. in other words hes scored 19 goals in 2 seasons which is NOT good enough

Icts Great Unanswered Questions
Why do we re-sign people who failed after leaving us for a bigger club? (brewster wyness etc.) Why do we sign so many county players?

Teams with Names Longer than ICT
Fimleikafelag Hafnarfjaroar (26) Handknattleiksfelag Kopavogs (27) Knattspyrnufelagio Reykjavikur (29) Gotta be one of the north altantic teams from the Faroe Islands, surely the likes of B36, B68 and B71 are not abbreviations of something having numbers in them ?. Actually mate B36 is short for Boltfelagio 1936 Torshavn B71 is Bolfelagio 1971 Sandur and B68 is Boltfelagio 1968 Toftur All 3 play in the Icelandic Premier League
