  2. Platini has had his plans for domestic cup competitions rejected. Under his plans domestic cup winners would have qualified for the Champions League. Stupid idea really cos if a smaller club has a good cup run they would represent their country in the Champo League. Apparently Scotland's champion will automatically qualify for the group stages from 2009 which is good I suppose
