Got to agree Gordy, Lionel was once again a revelation today and deserved MOM. I think Lionel is a confidence player and the more confidence he gets hopefully the better he will perform. He could turn out to be our find of the season if he continues his current progress, but only time will tell if this is just a flash in the pan but lets hope not. Wonder what a MOM award would do for his confidence.

Got to agree with Johnboy and Long Man. Its is to easy to continue to court controversy and just as easy to cast aspersions as what has and has not gone on behind the scenes when you don't really know what exactly went on. Re the Brewster situation, undoubtedly a hard call but was it assisted or hindered by fans calling for his head and ultimately trying to force the Boards hand................ I think I know how I would react if somebody tried to back me in to a corner, however well intentioned their actions were. What some fail to understand is the fact that it was Brewster's lively hood and possibly his future career as a Manager that was at stake and forgetting the personalities involved, the fact it is football and whether or not he has the credentials to manage, this would never be a decision to be taken lightly by any employer. Did the Board give him to much time, probably, but wouldn't you like to be given every opportunity by your employer to improve a bad situation prior to getting shown the door, I certainly would. Perhaps if you have never been in the position of having to make that call then it is difficult to grasp the magnitude of the decision making process. Some are calling for changes at the top, can I ask how you intend achieving this with the current voting structure/shareholdings at the Club and also who do you hope to replace them with. Who would want to do it ?????? answers on a post card please. Can we not all get behind the Club for once rather than going off on another crusade, as Long Man states it is all getting rather boring.

Well said Stevico, people walking......sackings........relegation........for gods sake guys get a grip. Can you not look at this as the start of an new era for the Club and lets all get firmly behind the new management combo and the team. Lets forget all the negativity of the past few weeks and move on............hard for some I know, certain people thrive on controversy and unfortunately negativity breeds negativity both on and off the park. Think positive and stop all the whinging about what might have been and even more so predicting doom and gloom for the future. PS Johnboy fill up your pipe from your avatar and chill out........................... may help cheer you up.

Ok we got beaten but we should take a lot of positives from todays performance. Unfortunate about McBain and if he was sent off for mouthing he should be heavily fined as he has cost us big time today. Long time since the boys showed this much fight and this is what we need, guys that want to win for the Club and don't roll over when they go 1 down. At long last we have a bit of hope even though we slip 1 point further behind Falkirk, if we can stay in touch until March/April when we have a run of crucial fixtures we can pull through. Onwards and upwards....................................

Doesnt seem to be much dressing room unrest given what the senior players were saying in the papers this week, well apart from Blackie of course. He seems to be out on his own with his condemnation of the previous management team and their training methods but hopefully if selected tomorrow he will not be to tired to give of his best for the team. Anyway is this not just another of these unsubstantiated rumours and perhaps that is where this should be..... rumour section. What is past is past so lets forget all the rumours and counter rumours and get 100% behind the boys for tomorrow.
