ARFC sent me this info regsrding the reintroduction of standing. "Thanks for taking an interest in the campaign and it would be great to see Inverness be represented. We have planned this weekend of action which would be held on the last weekend of November (27/28) Inverness would be playing away to Celtic that day. If you cannot attend this match then you could show your banner on Dec 4th v Dundee United at home. We are calling on fans to show the same message at as many games as possible. Do you or would you be able to get an Overhead projector ? If so I will reply with a detailed method or creating the banner with one and if not I shall reply back with a detailed method of how to creat the banner without one. We are calling on fans to display the same message but have there team name infront of it "INVERNESS FANS FOR THE REINTRODUCTION OF STANDING AT SPL MATCHES" INVERNESS - should be in ICT colours while the rest of the writing should be in Black. We are trying to get everyone to use the same font aswell Superstar M54, just google it and it shall come up on a font size available for download. Your banner should be made from Wallpaperlining Paper. This can be bought from any good DIY store eg B&Q. We are asking for the banner to be made from this as since it is cheap iand this is a one off message banner it saves you ???. A good example of this type of message banner can be found here - " I dont have time at the moment to do this. Anyone wanting to take this project on? Would the club be ok with it? Personally I'd love to be able to stand at games. That corner where the wee west stand seats are is where I always used to go to watch games when we were coming up through the leagues.

What's the situation in regard to the club scouting the Highland League? I noticed Paul Coutts last night turn in a good performance in the U21 game and am a bit disappointed / surprised that he slipped through the net. Are there any other players out there who could be a good acquisition? Pele used to be good at picking out promising youngsters.

Agree. And they had 2 defenders out and it wasn't even their first choice keeper. Stunning goal from mcGuire though. Thank fook he was banned for the game last week.

Ooh THAT Rankin goal. What a peach that was. I was so happy to have made it to that game. I also thought our 1-0 victory over Partick in Glasgow last season was a cracking performance. Watching the Man Utd game V Bolton afterwards in the Pewter Pot wasn't a patch on it.

I didn't know Foran was banned for life. Seems a bit draconian considering the MacGregor / Ferguson incidents.

Your first point about the rangers 2-1 game brings back fond memories of Inverness rangers "fans" sitting in the north stand leaving early. When we win against the infirm it makes it all sweeter. I went for the 3-2 Celtic game for Strachans comment "they'll be sitting in that dressing room wondering how they won that game". He's such an ungracious little sod. We won it on merit and turning in a performance worthy of Barcelona. We don't wear the red and blue stripes for nothing! ;)

I agree with your point about Kenny Miller taking pressure off the defence. I hope he gets a start against Spain.

And would you also pay for the necessary road infrastructure to get the traffic in and out of one of Inverness's most horrendous bottlenecks? Another ?40M possibly? The current road network in that area of town struggles to cope with Highland Council HQ and the Aquadome being in that part of town. Getting 3500 to 7500 people away from there is a completely different ball game again. No, I'd get the train from Waverley and walk from Inverness railway station.

Fook giving the club money. I'd buy the bught and build a stadium over there.

Really hope this game will be played on a weekend. I can't make midweek games. Roy is a superb player and a great servant to the club. He deserves a testimonial match and I hope I can see it.
