    Cowie staying?

I'm fairly sure my brother said that he was a half decent footballer himself and had played for Spartans
  2. Unfortunately the best goal I have seen in a Caley Thistle was from Jamie Smith about two seasons ago when he hit a 35 yard screamer past Celtic's benchwarmer into the top corner. Best goal from someone in an ICT shirt has to be Ian Black I think against Dunfermline two seasons ago when he hit a 30 yarder past Allan McGregor.

    Cowie staying?

My wee brother goes to Culloden and his PE teacher is indeed Chipper's younger brother.
  4. Agree with that, and you can see it
  5. They will all join another team's bandwagon. It's the dozen or so who followed them in the Ryman's League that I feel sorry for, you've just got to wonder where the 12000 fans who were at Hampden have disappeared to.

Conmpletely agree that St Mirren wil have no problem staying up next season. I can see it being between us and Hamilton I'm afraid
  7. Champions: Portugal Top Scorer: Torres

  10. According to Sky Sports News Gretna have been demoted to the Third Division and therefore Airdrie United go into 1st Division and Stranraer to the 2nd Division
  11. My nominations would be: 1. Dennis Wyness 2. Iain Stewart 3. Charlie Christie
  12. I read it in The Sun, I would take it with a pinch of salt if I were you.

Would have been good signing for us but not going to lose much sleep over it because of two words - Dougie Imrie
  14. I may be wrong but this is what I think Aberdeen - No one Celtic - V of Hesselink, Boruc Dundee Utd - No one Falkirk - No one Gretna - No one Hearts - No one Hibs - No ome ICT - NICULAE Killie - No one Motherwell - No one Rangers - No one St Mirren - No one
  15. 1. Brew's last minute winner versus Hearts 2. Cowie's winner against Celtic 3. Proctor taking one for the teamand getting sent off against Celtic 4. Ike's save against Celtic 5. As it was the only away game I was at where we won I'm going to say getting 3 points at Tannadice
  16. I would hardly call it a lap of honour they do, they approach the Bridge End give a round of applause walk over to the Main Stand do the same again and walk down the tunnel.
  17. There was a caller (a Celtic fan) on Your Call trying to make it by casually trying to continually call him the Reverend Mike McCurry to which Jim basically called him a narrow minded bigot
  18. The fact that this was a rather pointless end of season fixture meant very few people headed down the road for it. Best effort for a chant was last day of last season at St Mirren with about a ten minute chant of 'Loyal Army'.
  19. The heart says yes but the head says no and I have used my head on this occasion
  20. If your wanting good songs they are definitely on away days, I have managed half a dozen away games myself this season and the Hibs cup game and Hearts away a couple of weeks ago were excellent days out. Some of the chants were the best i've heard in a long time.

    Brewster

Considering we started off in the SPL with a fantastic away record, I don't think so.... That's one thing that has puzzled me, in 2004 we went a whole year where we only lost at Dens Park and Parkhead but over the last two seasons our away record has been horrendous.
  22. Fraser Tokely Proctor Hastings McBain Wilson Cowie Hart Vigurs Wyness Niculae Subs: Zibi, Kerr (sub for Hastings with about 10 minutes), Imrie, Bayne, Brewster (for Wyness after 70 minutes), Gillespie (on for Hart 75 minutes), Black
  23. Same as last week isn't it? Hopefully Brew gets a few minutes today and next week.
  24. I would like us to sign Callum Reidford, the young keeper from Rangers on a free transfer as he could provide a challenging back up for Ikey. I think if we sign Andrew Cave-Brown from Norwich he could turn out to be a good signing for us. Andy Barrowman would also make a good addition to our squad and I think a defensive minded midfielder will also be required.
  25. My first game was a 5-1 defeat by Airdire in the 1st division in late 2000.
