  1. I do have a slight tendency towards Rangers although I do like to see both sides of the OF do well in Europe, I really hate Aberdeen more than both of them though.
  2. That's Alan Shearer the Newcastle legend. :003:
  3. GK: Would still like to see Fraser kept as No.1 with a reliable second choice keeper brought and McNulty as No.3 DF: I personally would like to see us start with Tokely-Proctor-Munro-Hastings but I feel that Brew will play McGuire instead of Proc, I would like to see an experienced centre half and possibly a young, up and coming centre half/left back. MID: My ideal midfield four would be Cowie-Black-Duncan-Imrie. I would be very surprised if we still see Blackie in an ICT shirt at the start of next season but I hope Brew and him can sort out there differences. Despite some of the criticism aimed at Duncan I think he is still an excellent player and should be in the starting XI. Wilson should be kept for another year but I feel that Patti should join Hart through the exit door. I hope to see Vigurs, Gillespie and Sutherland getting a better chance in the first team and I think that an experienced defensiveminded midfield is all that is required. FW: The problem area. With Wyness, Bayne looking likely to leave and Marius also a high possibility to have left we could need as many as 3/4 new strikers as only Wood and McAllister will be left. From what i've heard Wood deserves to have a chance next season as an impact player of the bench. So for season 2008/09: Out: Mccafferey (St J), Watt (back to Swansea), Hart (County), Wyness (County/St Mirren), Patti (free) Zibi (Hibs/free), Bayne (somewhere in the central belt) In: Barrowman, GK(Samson was mentioned and I would go for him), centre half, another centre half/left back, defensive midfielder, another striker,

  5. It won't be on tv and I believe that season ticket holders get priority first when they go on sale which is this Monday I think. I really hope that we play 45 minutes with the starting XI that played in the 3-1 victory over Celtic. I have heard that a certain Alan Shearer will play 45 minutes as well for Caley although I would take that with a pinch of salt
  6. I think the first two words suggest we will make an offer for him. Have seen him a few times he looks an alright goalkeeper. He did play for Dundee Utd didn't he?

    Team for Gretna

Team that will probably play: Fraser Rossco Proctor Munro Hastings Wilson Duncan Cowie Imrie Wyness Niculae Team I would like to see play: Fraser Proctor Kerr Munro Vigurs Wilson Black Gillespie Imrie McAllister Niculae Subs: Zibi, Rossco, Cowie, Paatelainean, Wyness, Bayne, Duff
  8. Barjam Fetai, end of story.
  9. I was on Your Call twice in our first season in the SPL, the first time about 4 weeks into the season when I called to see if Jim thought we would stay up and the second time towards the end of that season to basically get it up him cause he said that he thought we were going down.
  10. :clapping03: Nothing like the smell of your own brand. :021:
  11. Pressley is rubbish but he isn't rated very well so he isn't the most overated player in the SPL. Scott Brown has also been very poor this season. And I also think Billy Mehmet is the worst striker I have seen in the SPL by quite a distance.
  12. Whats with the "Brew Army" title if you dont support him ? By still not supporting him I mean after the last couple of months not since he rejoined do you think he'll get another contract?? Nope, he'll be playing for the tinkers next season.

  14. I actually had a discussion about this at half time today and I reckon he will have half an hour against St Mirren
  15. The reason Wyness played 90 minutes was because he was been given the chance to earn a new contract. Fair play to Brew for sticking to his word about him giving Denzil a chance to prove himself.
  16. If this is a positive thread don't expect too many post in it. :001: Must admit I still don't believe in Brewster but while he's still in charge he'll still get my support
  17. I can agree with you there in terms off the 1st half, it was a very poor first 45, probably the most boring the season. 2nd half though, I have to disagree with you, I thought we looked good going forward particularly down the right-hand side and we played some good football.
  18. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, injury prone and useless
  19. Me + 1 will be making the trip down to Edinburgh.
  20. Niculae's Wages Secured
  21. Fraser - Nothing to do bar deal with a few cross balls which he did with ease. Made one good stop in the 1st half 6.5/10 Tokely - Typical Rossco: Good going forward, suspect at the back 7/10 Proctor - Superb, best we've looked at the back in a long time and he was exceptional, especially covering for Rossco 9/10 Munro - Fairly comfortable second half and dealt with what he had to in the 1st half. 6.5/10 Hastings - Offered plenty of support on the overlap, but very rarely used. 6/10 Wilson - Showed enough today to suggest he is worth another year. 7.5/10 Cowie - Starting to look comfortable in the centre of midfield. 7/10 McBain - Seems like a different player in the last few weeks going forward, made crucial run to force the own goal. 7.5/10 Imrie - Best performance in an ICT by far, excellent free kick and terrific ball in for the 2nd, does need to help Hastings going back as far too often he didn't seem to track back. 8/10 Wyness - Poor performance by him, lacked confidence and his first touch and ability to hold up were very poo. 5/10 Niculae - 3rd goal showed the class that he does have, just please take a pay cut. 8/10 Only negative for me today was that I have agreed with Brian Irvine over something. Proctor was definitely MOTM.
  22. I have never rated McManus at Celtic. I have a mate who is a Celtic fan who doesn't rate Nakamura and I agree with him, I think he hides far too often in matches.
  23. I don't agree with the fact that this was played on the Monday while the Hearts game was yesterday but as Hearts failed to win it makes it a winner takes all battle (well falkirk can draw :003:). For two reasons I hope Falkirk make it. 1) They have played some fantastic football this season and have been more consistent than Aberdeen 2) It means we get another crack at the sheep
  24. FT 2-1 Brechin score against Airdrie, Ross County are champions
