  1. I've always said that a 18 team SPL would be best for Scottish football where everyone plays each other twice, four times a year is too much, even the Old Firm games are boring because they play each other too much plus cup competitions. There is not a lot of between the top 5 in Division 1 and the bottom 6 in the SPL in terms of ability on the park.
  2. I'm travelling down alone this time Redcard.....................so no "wrong direction train and clubbing in Aberdeen with Junior for you"!! :oops01: Yeah no drunken train journeys to Aberdeen this time mate :D Think we are getting the 11:45 train from Glasgow so if anyone near wants to join us you are more than welcome but beware there will be lots of alcohol consumed on that train :D
  3. Red Card, I bet you've been sat with that topic heading ready to post as soon as the news broke :D
  4. Butcher sacked from his roll as assistant coach with the Scotland national team. Quite pleased that he can now devote all his time to ICT
  5. I'll be there with a few of the Glasgow contingent
  6. Don't know why i said tickets as it's obviously pay at the gate.
  7. Got an email from Ayr, tickets are ?15 for adults and ?8 for cocessions. We will be situated in the railway end of the stand so i'm hoping she means the terracing behind the goals and not an end of the main stand.
  8. If only all 4 games were away from home i'd agree about the 12 points part :)
  9. Looking forward to it mate, hopefully we can get a few of the old central belters to join us for a rum or three :)
  10. Sandy we are meeting in Central at 11:30 so come and join us mate, it's been a while
  11. I'm sure the ticket prices will be ?12 - ?15 for adults
  12. I'll be going down with Govan Jaggie and co. Meeting in the pub at central station around 11:30 for a few before going on the train, not sure which boozer we are going to beforehand.
  13. If i make it tonight i'll be in the Jack Daniels before the game, not too optimistic about tonight after being at Airdrie on Saturday!
  14. We are having a few beers at the bar in the stadium beforehand if anyone fancies a light refreshment.
  15. I'll be there with my mate who is an Airdrie fan, should be fun :D
  16. Just realized that Scotland are playing Japan away on the 10th October while we are playing QOS at home, assuming Burley is still in the job i'm wondering where Terry will be on that day!!
  17. Well we scraped through against a poor Partick team today and we even won on penalties which was a slight bonus after our last trip to Firhill. Happy we won and great to see a defence consisting of Golly and Granty, we just needed big Bobby and it would be 2002 all over again
  18. So there are 2 so far for drinks in Munns Vaults before the game, surely we can get a few more bodies together? ekjules make sure you and the boys pop in for a drink before the game, would be nice to see you guys again :(
  19. I'll be attending this one :) Munns Vaults on Maryhill Road around 1ish for a few beers if anyone wants to join me.
  20. Relax children :011:
  21. Get Pressley signed up, i'm sure he won't be looking for massive wages at his age, he will be getting paid well enough by the SFA. he could do great job for one year, we need a leader at the back.
  22. Kalvenas has signed for Burnley We couldn't afford Killen Donalson is gash Dobbie isn't SPL quality Jackson is also gash Stokes...i wish :rotflmao: Buchanen i think would be a decent signing but he is injured at the moment. as for the guys from Sunderland, we don't have a chance in **** of getting any of them.
  23. terrible player :020:
  24. This could be a good option in my opinion :003: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t..._ct/7460973.stm
